Exante - severe and continuing issues
Continual problems connecting with Exchanges despite my repeated complaints and promise to rectify from head of European operations. Refusal to acknowledge this problem.
Continued issues with the platform software functionality despite a myriad of updates.
Continuous bombardment of banal support emails which are barely comprehensible and tell you nothing.
Expensive fund transfer fees and limited choice of trading instruments.

Look for something better
The Tech is mediocre, Fees are high, and the staff make it their goal to be as useless as possible giving empty replies whenever possible.
At least the list of instruments is varied

SCAM
SCAM. Reviews on here have to be from employees. Hidden fees, platform not working, low support, slippages and more. If they are not a scam they are very very bad at their job !

All good, recommended
I opened an account a few days ago and the process went smooth. The platform looks intuitive and their support is very responsive (i.e. average response time is less than one hour). So far so good - hopefully this is not a "demo version" of the service :).
EDIT after about 2 months: still all good. Still the support is very responsive, still no problems.
EDIT 2: after 4 months in total still so far so good.
EDIT 3: I must admit I'm positively surprised. The customer support standard is very high and the platform works reliably as expected.

Excellent!
I've been trading with EXANTE for years. The instruments are comprehensive and varied, ensuring that my portfolio always stays diversified. The streamlined interface is easily accessible and straightforward. Customer service response times are swift. Employees are always helpful and forthcoming. All in all, a superb broker.

The world is at my fingertips
The platform is working smoothly and quickly, was very easy to adapt to it. Choice of instruments is insane (about 150,000) with a very good choice of bonds, orders get filled quickly. SL and TP haven't failed me even once. So far have nothing to complain about.
Five stars! Keep at it!

Russian scam company
I opened an account on July 17, 2018.
I filed 30.000 Euro on the account, to trade with three cryptocurrencies, 10.000 Euros worth each. This was intended as a test balloon, before investing more.
When in mid-October the Bitcoin (and all other currencies) value went down, I decided to wait for a recovery, before selling my cryptocurrencies. That is common sense.
However, I got weird (and costly) notifications from EXANTE, that I had to defend my ‘positions’ (which I never asked for). After some time, EXANTE deliberately (and without my consent) sold my assets at low price, thus crashing my 30.000 Euros down to finally less than 2.000 Euros worth.
I found out (too late) that their Management is some Russian investors, who protect the assets of their nationals, but scam foreigners!

Thank you for providing your ID.
Your case occurred in the end of November, 2018 when your account faced Margin call (which means your account Margin Utilisation was higher than 100%) holding positions in BTC.EXANTE. In this kind of occasions clients always receive the Margin Call automatic notification (currently with the title “Urgent: Margin Call Account #AccountID”), where client is informed about actions he needs to take in order to avoid close out.
Margin Call is truly a standard procedure, that is implemented to all cases equally for both client's and company's (here EXANTE's) financial security. It is fully the client's responsibility to be aware of the situation on his account. If you at least noticed that issue after first close out and addressed us on the reasons - you could avoid the close outs in the future.
