Service was very quick and of great quality. I was in the middle of a demanding rotation and my coach was patient and flexible with finding a good time for us to meet. She took extra time to be sure I had the chance to practice answers to a variety of interview questions and provided helpful feedback.

I was trying to tell my life story in my personal statement, and Mihailo edited it to make it much more succinct and suitable for the residency application process. Since he has been involved with residency admissions, I trusted his suggestions for what to get rid of and where to expand. When I was stuck on crafting a great conclusion, Mihailo came up with a draft that I could build on. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the final draft of my personal statement, and I couldn't have gotten to that point without an expert editor.

I worked with Dr. Sanchez and she helped me refine my answers and gave me solid feedback. In our second session, there was marked improvement in my confidence and my answers. After the two hour session with Dr. Sanchez, I now feel adequately prepared to take on my residency interviews.

Dr. Sanchez has unequivocally set the gold standard for application advising. As someone who has enlisted application advising for both undergrad and prior cycle of medical school admissions, my expectations of advising were that I would receive generic comments about my writing, be given edits that were unhelpful, and have to adhere to the writing voice of my advisor. Dr. Sanchez provided the opposite. Even though communication through Exceptional Grad is through email only, she took the time out of her busy professional schedule to answer my many questions, and offer examples of how to approach parts of application (without deducting it from my "edits allowance"). Above all, she offered both encouraging comments as well as constructive critiques that were SPECIFIC, enabling me to make actionable changes. As a med school re-applicant, she really helped me turn out my primary app writings by helping me achieve purpose and balance while retaining my personal, stylistic choices. Don't look for any other advising company that may upcharge thousands of dollars. ExceptionalGrad offers a very, very reasonable price for the immense amount of value. Thank you Dr. Sanchez!

Dr. Miljanic was a great advisor, he was reassuring but also told me what I need to add more of and gave me some guidance for volunteer opportunities I could try out, as well as shadowing and other things that were giving me difficulty. He was kind, and also very helpful, and willing to listen to all of my questions, it’s doctors like him that inspire me to go into medicine!
