Worked with Dr. Miljanic and discussed several points of my TMDSAS application. He helped highlight the things that appeared most impressive from a reviewers perspective and that really helped clarify my focus. He also pointed out some awkward phrasing and grammatical things I did not catch in my few passes of self-review. It was only a 30 minute review session, but I felt that in itself was very insightful. Would recommend at least trying the first consultation and seeing if it's a good fit for you.

I was a 2022 dermatology residency applicant. My review applies specifically to Mihailo, although I am sure your experience with any of ExceptionalGrad's team would be the same. I credit a large reason for my success in matching to a top dermatology program to my strength in interviewing, which in turn is due to ExceptionalGrad.

I was referred to Mihailo and his team by a friend. Although initially hesitant, I'm so glad I went through with his coaching. First off, their services are cheaper than others out there. Secondly, before my practice interview sessions with Mihailo, I thought I had decent answers. I quickly realized that while they were acceptable, there was still much more room to improve. Mihailo helped me tremendously in this respect: he has a system that addresses the most common interview questions, followed by more specific ones, while leaving plenty of time and flexibility for your own questions. He helped me immensely in elaborating upon and fine-tuning my answers while doing so in a relaxed, respectful, and non-judgmental environment. He is also extremely responsive via email.

Before my coaching sessions with him, I had had a few interviews, in which I didn't really receive positive or negative feedback. After my coaching sessions with him, I had at least 2 interviews where the interviewers specifically commented that my answers were "the best they had heard on the interview trail." My only regret is that I wish I had my practice sessions before the beginning of the interview season!

I would recommend preparing for your practice sessions beforehand, meaning going in with your answers prepared and having a good idea of what types of questions you want to get through with your coach.

Highly recommended. I have been offered an interview with my first choice and my personal statement has been referenced on interviews as a strong component of the application.
