Incredible Experience
I had a lot of great experience but I was really struggling to tell a clear, coherent story to get recruiters attention. ExecuNet gave me incredible, hands-on support to meet this exact need. They really worked with me to find the right roles and armed me with the right materials and strategy to get traction in a tricky job market. Everyone was incredibly thoughtful, supportive, and helpful!

Not work the money paid.
As part of the package I paid for, there were to be two rounds of executive searches and 90 days of free trial to the job board. I received the two executive searches, but by the time I received them, the jobs were already gone, with no 90-day free trial. I did get the documents I paid for, but in 2026, most of them could be done with AI and save money. I do think the resume is good, but it's not worth the money I paid. Consultants canceled on me multiple times, and the "executive job training" and getting my documents dragged out for a long time. What should have taken 45 days took 90.
UPDATE 03/18/26 - After several emails and this review, I was contacted and was given the missing parts I was promised.

Save your money and just go to indeed and LinkedIn, that’s where they pull their jobs from for free, and then charge you to see them here. Also, the site is hard to use because they use the job id and industry categories on their search results instead of company name and position, even with the paid membership. Once you apply, it’s still in the search results.

While viewing and applying to these curated jobs is a key feature of our membership, it is only a part of the larger investment. The core of the ExecuNet experience is our 3% Solution. This is a strategy guided by recruiting experts and hiring insiders designed to help you:

- Become discoverable where the real hiring decisions happen (which is often outside of public job boards).

ExecuNet Career Accelerator – Deluxe (what you get for $5,595)
I’m writing this for other executives who are on the fence and want to know what they will actually receive for the hefty price! ExecuNet 3% Solution™ is marketed as providing vetted recruiter-posted roles, confidential introductions, and expert guidance to shorten time to landing in the $200K+ market. In my experience, none of that materialized. The engagement took longer than 8 weeks and delivered little incremental value beyond a résumé and LinkedIn update. Most other “deliverables” were repackaged résumé content presented in "branded" templates to justify the price. I received no confidential introductions, no proprietary access to roles and no measurable acceleration toward interviews or offers.
What the Deluxe package actually delivered:
- Target ID & Strategy Coaching: Required me to identify target companies; ExecuNet primarily reacted rather than providing original market insight.
- Target ID Research & Analysis: A spreadsheet of open roles at companies I supplied, plus recruiter contact lists who are useless, not decision makers.
- You in Value™ Discovery Session: A general discussion based on intake materials.
- ValuCentric® Résumé: A polished résumé; solid quality, comparable to many standalone executive résumé services.
- LinkedIn Profile Plus: Updated to mirror the résumé. No banner or cohesive brand execution.
- Networking ValuGraphic®: Dense and impractical for real executive use, no one in my network would ever share this.
- Cover Letter & Outreach Templates: Generic templates requiring heavy customization.
- ValuConversation / Launch & Execution Coaching: The engagement stalled after an initial session; remaining coaching sessions were not conducted.
I purchased the Deluxe package specifically for executive-level, market-relevant positioning while transitioning into modern tech companies. Instead, the guidance felt dated and generic—closer to résumé writing than strategic executive search support. Ironically, LHH outplacement demonstrated a stronger understanding of current ATS behavior than ExecuNet did.Once the contract was signed, the engagement became transactional, with communication focused more on payment than delivery.
A legitimate inbound opportunity from a private-equity-backed firm was even dismissed as a “scam,” despite ExecuNet’s own ExecutiveSuite LinkedIn group containing visible phishing and résumé-harvesting posts.
Given the gap between how the Deluxe program is positioned and what was delivered, I would welcome a refund rather than additional coaching on internal process. Attempts to resolve issues through Member Services (203-750-1030, option 2) consistently routed to voicemail without response.
For executives with strong networks, this service is unnecessary. For those expecting real leverage at this price point, it does not deliver.

Nothing unique about them and impossible to cancel
First the service is the same like all the other free platforms. Second and more importantly, while they say you can cancel anytime- yes you can go onto your account and hit cancel- they do NOT cancel until you call them, which is not indicated anywhere. They charged me for a year after I cancelled because I didn’t realize that. It’s a scam

Job Listings Not Up-to-Date
Many of the jobs listed in my area (HR) were dead ends. Once the ExecuNet website redirected me to the company website in order to apply for a specific job, the job was no longer listed. This happened for several roles.

ExecuNet was worth it
ExecuNet was worth it. I used their coaching during a major career transition and the value was practical, not theoretical. The guidance was specific to senior roles, the feedback was direct, and the tools actually helped me tighten my story and navigate high-stakes conversations. My coach didn’t waste time or sell fantasies. He pushed my thinking, clarified positioning, and helped me show up like a peer to the people interviewing me. Offers nothing others don't do better and cheaper
The packages are very expensive and don't give you anything you can't get elsewhere much cheaper. Job listings are generic -- again, the same information is available everywhere and the site has some of the worst search options of any of the major sites. Really no reason to use the site.

Execunet has a really good sense of how to get us executives to reflect and articulate a career journey that is a compelling and visually appealing story. They also do a good job helping us think differently about our next role and prioritize what we want to do and where and take a non-traditional approach to job finding through outreach and networking. They also have some good resources, such as job notifications, recruiter contact info and interview coaching. Time will tell once I land the desired role, but I have taken their approach ideas and made them my own, and more interviews are definitely being generated

Pros and cons list, just facts
Pros:
- The team is quick to respond
- they are seemingly experienced
Cons:
- a $3000 package gives you a resume rewrite, a Linkedin profile edit, and a value graphic chart based on a questionnaire that I filled out, and I’m not seeing good use case for that value graphic chart yet. And that’s basically it.
- the job posts on the website are all public jobs, you can find them on Linkedin or google for free. There are no “hidden opportunities that are not public”.
- there are no special treatments between the applications from ExecuNet vs other portals, meaning it’ll be the same if you just apply from LinkenIn.
- there are no further time-saving or effort saving action taken on behalf of you.
So, I guess it depends on you to see if it’s worth it.

My ExecuNet process was instrumental in find my new job.
