I seem to remember leaving them over 16 years ago, only because I changed banks and they couldn't get any money. Fact is I didn't even realise I was still a paying member, they sent me nothing for months. Now they are sending me unsolicited emails. Parasites.

Genuinely the worst job board site around. I searched through 5 pages of jobs and not a single one was available to apply without upgrading to premium. They spam you constantly with emails to upgrade to premium.
If you've made and account just hit that delete my account button on the 'My Account' section.
Job seeking service who cares about money, not their customers
My experience with Experteer was extremely disappointing and revealed a lot about how little they seem to care about the very people they claim to help.
I failed to cancel my subscription until 4 days after it had already auto-renewed for another 3 months (I saw the charge on my credit card). As soon as I realized the mistake, I contacted them immediately, explained what happened, and asked them to work with me. I reached out right away, hoping for a reasonable response.
Instead, after multiple communications, their position was essentially: sorry, you did not read the fine print, and we are keeping your money.
What makes this especially bad is the nature of their business. Experteer markets itself to professionals, including people who are unemployed and actively looking for work, yet when someone makes an honest mistake, they show no flexibility, no goodwill, and no understanding that this is often the exact moment when people can least afford to lose money. For a company serving job seekers, that is incredibly tone-deaf.
In other words, when faced with the choice between doing the reasonable thing for someone in a vulnerable moment or hiding behind policy and keeping the money, Experteer made its priorities very clear.
They kept my $100, but they lost my trust completely. I would not recommend this service to anyone

This site seems to over-promise. Not only do I see a lot of reviews that cancelling a subscription still results in being charged, but I am being spammed with emails to become a premium member. It is against national regulations to send marketing information without an option to unsubscribe. This disregard for a simple link in an email creates an indication of the rest of the practice of this organisation.
Stay away. Don't even give your email address.

Premium bringt keinen Mehrwert
Trotz Premiummitgliedschaft habe ich weder die mehrfach per Mail angekündigten Headhunteranfragen erhalten noch habe ich irgendein Stelleninserat gesehen, welches nicht auch auf LinkedIn o.ä. publiziert war.

Experteer is not informing correctly…
Experteer is not informing correctly about cancellation of subscription.
I had cancelled my membership and they still charged me again a 6 months fee without notifying accordingly.
Reading the answer of Experteer, they misinform the customer again, as per Dutch law with a renewal of subscription the consumer must be able to cancel on a monthly basis, extending with another 6 month mandatory, as Experteer is doing, in not in line with the law and is forbidden.
Meaning extension can only be 1 month and therefor a refund must be done of the 5 month too much paid.
Update 12-02: Experteer has been taken the matter seriously and have proposed a fair solution. Happy with the outcome

Ich habe für mein Geld so gut wie keine…
Ich habe für mein Geld so gut wie keine Gegenleistung erhalten. Die angebotenen Stellen waren vollkommen daneben. Jedesmal wenn man den Lebenslauf "hochlädt", kommt ne Mail, dass was schiefgelaufen ist (z.B. der CV sei auf Englisch und die KI kann das nicht verarbeiten, unterzeichnet von einer Lebenslauf Expertin). Dann setzt man ein paar Felder (Land, Stadt, Branche, Hierarchie), und es kommt immer noch nix raus.
Das ist leider so daneben, dass es sich wie Abzocke anfühlt. Für das Geld muss halt mal jemand dort ein paar Zuweisungen machen damit es läuft. Sonst bin ich ja der Depp der sich da durchklickt bis die sog. KI (die wirklich nicht arg "I" zu sein scheint) meinen Input frisst. Also eine lächerlich hohe Gebühr für nix.
Ich hatte das Abo ein Jahr lang.
Auch die Kündigungsbedingungen sind ... naja, noch ein bisschen so gestaltet dass man noch bissl Geld machen kann.

Unexpected auto-renewal, limited value, and no refund despite immediate cancellation
I signed up believing I was purchasing a one-month membership. I was not aware that the subscription would automatically renew on a monthly basis.
When my card was charged again, my bank flagged the transaction as potential fraud, which is how I became aware of the renewal. I cancelled the membership immediately and contacted Experteer the same day. Despite immediate cancellation and no use of the service during the renewed period, Experteer refused to issue a refund, citing their renewal policy.
In addition, as a U.S.-based senior communications and brand leader, I found the platform offered very limited relevant roles and minimal recruiter activity. Many of the positions shown were hybrid or unrelated to my field and similar to roles available on free job boards.
This service may be better suited to other markets or functions, but it did not meet expectations for transparency or value in my case.

I had a problem with Premium Membership cancellation.Experteer’s customer support handled the situation very well. I contacted them by email, and they promptly reviewed and accepted my request. The customer care team was responsive, professional, and helpful. I’m satisfied with how efficiently the issue was resolved.

Je n'ai franchement pas pour habitude de faire ce genre de commentaire, mais celui-ci m'aura coûté près de 60€ (en plus de l'offre d'essai).
C'est tout simplement du racket ! Une offre d'essai à 14€ qui se transforme en abonnement coûteux d'un coup de baguette magique. (le service "support" se retranche derrière des infos soi-disant très visibles et a le culot de les énumérer... comme si on était des perdreaux de l'année). Mais encore si seulement cette baguette magique permettait de trouver un travail, ça vaudrait le coup et je ne rédigerais pas ce message. En plus de 2 mois, pas 1 chasseur de tête ne s'est manifesté malgré les promesses, pas une annonce ne s'est démarquée des autres site. J'ai essayé de refuser le paiement, mais on m'a bien fait comprendre que si je ne payais pas on engagerait des poursuites. C'est pas élégant de jouer avec des gens qui sont en souffrance du fait de leur recherche d'emploi... lors de cette recherche d'emploi j'ai constaté que l'on retrouve les mêmes annonces notamment sur Hellowork ou Indeed... mais ce gratuitement. Donc valeur ajoutée Experteer = 0

Katastrophal, Finger weg! Ich habe bereits ein großes deutsches Magazin mit meinem Fall vertraut gemacht, es wird intensiv recherchiert. Es gibt zahlreiche Fälle, wie man auch hier in den Bewertungen sieht. Experteer kostet genug Geld, liefert aber null. Das Geld sieht man nie wieder. Kündigungen sind angeblich nie eingegangen. Absoluter Betrug!
Facturation rigide, aucun résultat concret – je déconseille fortement
on expérience avec Experteer a été très décevante.
Après avoir souscrit à un abonnement Premium, je n’ai reçu aucune offre d’emploi réellement intéressante, aucun recruteur ne m’a contacté, et les opportunités proposées se sont révélées peu pertinentes voire inexistantes par rapport aux promesses mises en avant lors de l’inscription.
Lorsque j’ai constaté l’absence totale de résultats et demandé une solution (remboursement ou geste commercial), cela m’a été refusé automatiquement, avec pour seule réponse un renvoi aux conditions générales, sans réelle écoute ni analyse de ma situation.
Le service est présenté comme un accès privilégié à des opportunités professionnelles de haut niveau, mais dans mon cas, il s’est avéré inutile, sans valeur ajoutée concrète.
Le modèle repose sur un paiement anticipé et un engagement ferme, sans possibilité de retour même en cas d’insatisfaction totale.
Je conseille donc vivement aux personnes intéressées de bien réfléchir avant de s’abonner, de ne pas se fier uniquement aux promesses marketing, et de lire attentivement toutes les conditions.
Pour ma part, je ne renouvellerai pas et je déconseille ce service.

Nötigung zu teurer Premiummitgliedschaft
Man erhält nach Registrierung täglich Emails in denen einem erzählt wird, wie gut gerade die Möglichkeiten zum Jobwechsel seien und man nur auf die Kontaktaufnahme des Headhunters warten solle. Es wird dargelegt wie viele Angebote Jobsuchende mit dem Experteer Premium Abo bekommen. Wer nicht bezahlt erhält ausschließlich Werbung, aber keine Jobangebote. Insgesamt sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung.

Hohe Kosten für ein Premium Abo
Hohe Kosten für ein Premium Abo, dafür keine Job Angebote die ich nicht auch auf anderen Seiten gefunden hätte.
Dazu kommt das die Kündigungsbedingungen eine Frechheit sind. Bei einem 3 Monatsabo ist die Kündigungsfrist 1 Monat zum Ende der Laufzeit. Da würde man sagen ja okay ist frech aber kann man sich ja merken.
Wenn man am 04. September zb ein Abo startet wäre der letzte Tag bei jedem anderen Monatsabo von seriösen Anbietern der 03.Dezember, nicht bei experteer da ist der letzte Tag bereits der 02. Dezember... Ein Tag weniger. Die ganzen Informationen findet man zwar in den AGBs aber wissen wir ja alle... Egal was daraus gelernt, kann man dennoch nicht weiter empfehlen. Keine Jobangebote oder anderweitig hervorzuhebende Vorzüge die nicht auch andere seriöser Seiten zu günstigeren Preisen anbieten würden.
