It's easy to use once you have set up a car for mileage. However, would be great if it could remember the addresses you have previously used so we don't have to keep copy & pasting them into the fields each time.

Second to None

Our company has been using Expend for years. We have had and keep on having an amazing experience using them.

Not only is their system easy to use, their customer service is one of best we've used.

We hope to to continue using Expend for the foreseeable future.

Cost-effective expense management

We have been using Expend for nearly two years now and find it a very cost-effective method of allowing staff to upload receipts and manage and submit their own expenses (via an app or online), whilst maintaining central financial control (allocating funds to cards, setting expense policies, automated emails chasing receipts and making sure sufficient levels of approval can be added). Expend can deal with mileage payments to staff, expenses paid for themselves, as well as expenses paid by an Expend card (either debit or credit card style). New features are often being added and the company are willing to respond to new suggestions and ideas, and will implement them if there is enough demand. Support queries are generally answered within half an hour, and often sooner. We have been offered several other options to move away from Expend but this is the most cost-effective user-friendly option that we have found so far.

Not as intuitive as i would have thought

I like the fact it will scan receipts. It is not as intuitive as i would have thought. I found leaving details difficult. One item i could not submit so asked one and then a second person who both already used the system for help. Neither could figure out why it wouldn't save to be submitted. Will try a third person tomorrow.

Having used Expend at Veritas Prime

Having used Expend at Veritas Prime, I found it to be a comprehensive and user-friendly expense management tool that streamlined financial processes efficiently.

Pros:
✅ Automated Expense Tracking – The integration with business accounts and the ability to scan receipts in real-time significantly reduced manual effort.
✅ Smart Company Cards – The Expend card made managing expenses seamless, offering real-time visibility and control over spending.
✅ Intuitive Interface – The platform’s clean design made navigation easy, ensuring minimal learning curve for employees.
✅ Customizable Approval Workflows – The tool allowed tailored approval structures, which improved compliance and reduced processing time.
✅ Integration with Accounting Software – Direct integrations with Xero and other financial tools ensured smooth financial reporting.

Cons:
⚠️ Occasional Sync Delays – At times, there were slight delays in transactions reflecting in reports, requiring manual refresh.
⚠️ Limited Multi-Currency Support – While functional, currency conversion features could be improved for global transactions.
⚠️ Mobile App Limitations – While useful, the mobile app had minor usability issues compared to the desktop version.

Overall Verdict:
⭐ 4.5/5 – Expend proved to be a robust expense management solution at Veritas Prime, effectively automating and simplifying financial workflows. While there are areas for improvement, its automation capabilities and seamless integrations made it a valuable tool for managing business expenses efficiently.

Perfect Solution for Cashless Petty Cash

expend.com offers a great service that has allowed us to go cashless with our petty cash offerings across the organisation.

It is easy to use and offers integration options with both our accountant and banking systems.

It's very easy to use

It's very easy to use. Expenses are automatically added into the app. The support is great. The receipt scanning works well. Card doesn't work everywhere, so it's useful to have a backup card, but commercial cards of other suppliers can be added to an expend account also for automatically adding expenses.
