The warranty claim experience was easy. My original order details were able to be connected to the claim, making the verification process easy. I received an email a couple of days later with instructions on how to order my replacement product.

I seldom buy extended warranties, but did this time for an inflatable spa by Bestway. It seemed like a good idea this time. When the spa leaked after a few months of use, I submitted a warranty claim. Extend was incredible to work with. The communication about the claim and the speed and efficiency with which the claim was processed was fantastic. From start to finish, the process was easy, efficient with superior communication and speed. Very impressed with Extend!

The support team was fantastic! Working with them through email was a bit challenging due to the situation, but once on the phone with them they had my issue resolved that day. Really great customer experience, from claim processing to resolving issues.

I have never had to use any kind of furniture warranty program in over 40 years of furniture purchases. I filed a claim and it was approved and then the phone tag began. Once the approval was given that was the end of any contract. I phoned a week later and was told that there were no techs in the area to service my claim and to call at the end of the month. I called at the end of the month and was told again that there were no techs again and told to call back in a week. I called a week later and that person looked at the previous calls and said that what they were doing was wrong and that he's get me back on track, which he did. He was able to get to the right place and have a tech scheduled abs get the sofa fixed. He was knowledgeable and courteous and if my first interaction would have been with him you'd be getting five stars instead of three, and three is being kind.

It looks like most of the reviews are either 1 star or 5 stars. I guess that's because they paid a claim and got 5 stars or they denied a claim and got 1 star. As far as my claim goes, it went very well for me. I ordered 2 toilets and one of the toilets was broken when I opened the box. There was not any damage to the box. I took pictures that night then filed a claim the next day. Later that day they said they needed a few more pictures. I took the pictures that night and sent it to them the next day. Later that day I received my refund in the form of a debit card good for the purchase price of the broken toilet. The claim process was quick and simple.

worst ever extended warranty coverage!!!! had to submit claim 3x they kept either losing it or closing it out with no resolution!!!! then we were denied due to not reporting the issue faster??? we reported it when we realized it, how is that even an issue, Ashley Furniture that is barely over a year old??? original claim was sent to Ashley while still under manufacturing warranty but then their tech was unable to resolve the issue and by this time it switched from Ashley warranty to Extend Warranty? Total crap and I wasted $600 for a useless warranty!!! Don't waste your money & time!!!!!

I got 'Extend Shipping Protection' when placing order with Adorama - paid separately for an extra protection like a good citizen.
Extend website (falsely) claims for 'no hustle claims and simple replacement' with the shipping protection. Package never arrived. I contact Adorama first, who say 'hey you are covered by Extend, they got your package covered'. I am 'Right! Extra shipping protection!'. I contact Extend and their reply is "We've reviewed the details of your claim and determined that it is not covered by Extend because your product is still eligible for coverage under your manufacturer’s warranty." Claim denied.
I'm confused, didn't I PURCHASED EXTRA SHIPPING PROTECTION? I demand explanation of the policy and after some back and forth their are finally "Upon reviewing your contracts we are viewing you have one for product protection and shipping protection.
When you go to file a claim online please select shipping ID XXXXX. sorry for confusion".
Okay, I file another complain copying the tracking number that was provided and boom "claim denied, contact your manufacture".
Package lost. Zero cooperation from Extend. What is the value of 'Extend Shipping Protection'? None. False advertisemen.

Simple and straight forward. I’d rate the company from which I bought the items for which I got the protection from extend a 1 out of 5 stars if I could but the extend protection helped make a headache much less then it would have been otherwise. I have no complaints. Great at what they do.

Explain what's wrong then take a couple pictures and that's about it. They even expedite the replacements. Much better service than Apple by far!!!
Again the whole process is quick, super simple, and never had an issue with any replacement. Also usually it will be replaced by a virtual Card and all you do is order the new set on them 100%.

An absolute worthless company. USPS misdelivered my box, the branch manager wrote me a letter stating this had happened but extend stated I was trying to commit fraud. My bank gave me my money back in full but the vendor lost in the end which isn’t right. I’ll never purchase shipping insurance ever again. This company is a joke.
Also the person who had their experience w Fraud from a purchase w Jomashop, go figure, so did I! And they gave me the exact same response that you were given!
In response to Extend; my bank was satisfied w the letter from the post office Branch Manager stating they misdelivered the package and it was their fault. There was no fraud and continuing to say so otherwise is offensive. I didnt get the package, USPS goofed, Extend denied the claim, so my review stands that Extend is worthless, does not uphold its promises, and finds ways to deny claims.

My first experience with customer service was almost 2 hours trying to get a simple refund for my order because USPS returned the order due to no PO Box # on the address. I had included BOTH a street address and a p.o. box when I placed the order, not knowing which shipping method would be used. After several extended waits and "I will get back to you"s, I was told the request had been "escalated" to the "concerned team" who would get back to me via email. Four days later without any response, I contacted customer service again, and a different agent put me in touch with the extend.com link.
Processing the claim was quick and efficient, but I was not offered any option for a refund to my bank card, only that I could redeem a card to reorder. I do not want to reorder, I would like a refund as I am not confident that reordering would solve the delivery service problem.
I think the Extend.com option lacks the ability to address problems that vary due to a wide range of unique individual circumstances. I lacks the personal "human" attention.
Meanwhile, I am still waiting to find out about a refund for my order that never arrived.
