I ordered my CD as a pre orderon the 21st October and it still ain’t shipped .

Thank you for your review. We are very sorry to hear you had a poor experience with Eyesore Merch.
The item in question was a pre-order. Our normal procedure for a pre-order is that we place our order with the distributor. Stock is not normally an issue; however, in this case, due to very high demand, the specific product was not pressed in sufficient quantities, and our order was cut to a smaller quantity than originally ordered. We received assurances from the distributor that the product was being re-pressed. Due to the limited stock, in the interest of fairness we prioritised orders in chronological order (this order was placed three days before the release date). Based on the assurance of a re-press, we offered in good faith to keep the order live, or to cancel and refund the order. Further time passed. As the re-press had still not surfaced, it became clear that we would not be able to offer a firm expected shipping date. At that stage the option to cancel or keep the order live was offered; cancellation and refund was selected and issued promptly.
We do our best to ensure that our stock is as accurate as possible, and take it seriously as a key pillar of providing a good customer experience. Unfortunately, there are extremely rare occasions where there are discrepancies between the stock shown on the site or that we believe to be available, and that actually available. When this issue arises and we become aware of a problem with stock availability, we normally actively make contact to reach a swift resolution. In this case, we had been awaiting further information from the distributor, contributing to the delay. We regret that our usually high standards were not met on this occasion, and can only apologise.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, and we hope that you will consider us again for music and merch in the future.
