A Frustrating, Poorly Managed System

I’ve had a deeply frustrating and disappointing experience using Faces, and I’ll no longer be using the platform.

I used a prescriber through Faces to obtain a B12 prescription for a client. I paid both the prescriber fee and the pharmacy fee in good faith. What I was not made aware of at any point was that the pharmacy was closed over the Christmas period and operated a strict 7-day approval window.

There was no communication from the pharmacy or the prescriber to flag this issue. I waited, assuming the prescription was being processed, only to later be told that it had failed because the 7-day window had passed, something entirely outside my control.

I was then repeatedly told to “go back to the prescriber” with no clear explanation, leaving me stuck in the middle with no accountability from either side. Despite multiple messages, follow-ups, and assurances that someone would get back to me, nothing was resolved. I never received confirmation that the prescription would be re-issued, refunded, or properly addressed.

As a healthcare professional, this lack of transparency, communication, and joined-up responsibility is unacceptable. The system feels unnecessarily complicated, poorly managed, and ultimately unreliable. It has cost me time, money, and clients — all due to failures in communication and process, not clinical error.

If you’re relying on Faces for time-sensitive prescriptions or client care, I would urge caution. Clearer communication, accountability between prescribers and pharmacies, and proactive handling of issues like holiday closures are essential, and currently missing.

To provide some clarity, the pharmacy involved had scheduled a holiday closure over the Christmas period. At the time your order was placed, a system update was in progress, which meant orders were temporarily able to be submitted on a day when the pharmacy was not operational. This was unintended, and the issue was identified and corrected shortly afterwards to ensure the pharmacy closure was properly reflected.

As a result of this timing, the prescription unfortunately fell outside the pharmacy’s standard 7-day approval window, which is why it could not be processed as anticipated. We recognise that this information was not clearly visible at the time, and we appreciate how this may have caused confusion and frustration.

We’re especially sorry that this left you feeling caught between the prescriber and the pharmacy. That is not the experience we strive to deliver. Your feedback has been shared internally and is helping us improve how we communicate pharmacy availability, holiday closures, and the steps to expect should delays occur.

Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. We genuinely appreciate your honesty and regret that this experience did not meet the standard you should expect from us.

Faces customer service is second to none

I contacted Faces Support regarding queries about some patient payments. As ever Faces were really supportive and helped provide clarity around the origin of the payments and where I could see transactions and the method of payments for future reference. Carren was extremely supportive and clear, her Help was very much appreciated. Highly recommend their customer service.

The best app for a practiniore

Since i ve started my career as aesthetic practitioner i ve used Faces Consent. Honestly is the best app so far because it handles all your needs and the most important is free. Is like you have a receptionist to do all tge work for you, but professional and free. It connects you with the prescribers, the suppliers, the clients. It offers all the documents you need for your client and has an amazing booking system. Thank you

My favourite feature of Faces Consent…

My favourite feature of Faces Consent is how easy it is to find a reputable prescriber who can carry out face-to-face consultations on behalf of my clients. The ability to connect with prescribers within my local area allows me to deliver treatments quickly, safely, and efficiently, which my clients really value.

Since qualifying in aesthetics, Faces Consent has been an essential part of my practice. The process is seamless and supports a smooth client journey from consultation to treatment.

A special mention to Shushi, who has been incredibly efficient, helpful, and supportive. Any queries I had were answered within minutes via WhatsApp, which made a huge difference when needing quick advice.

I’ve been using Faces since qualifying in aesthetics and highly recommend them to any practitioner looking for reliable, professional prescriber support.
