Project to upgrade 22 years old basic MJ double glazed units in a coastal located house so I went to the market to get 3 quotes for 8 windows and French double door, the front door had already been replaced a couple of year ago. Being a building surveyor I see and inspect various companies’ window ranges. I hear from homeowners about the installation process and the final result etc the whole experience. Fairco have a very good reputation and besides the product for sale now are much better in recent years across the board due to the more demanding building regulations. I chose the A rated triple glazed uPVC as the house is very near the sea. Happy enough with price compared with others but it was also the personnel that confirmed for me Fairco were the company to run with even though another company slightly beat the price.
Paul is a knowledgable and relaxed sales consultant no hard sell - a confidence that comes from knowing he is representing a quality product and service. His manner resonated with me the advice and discussion about the options were helpful.
Communication was excellent with Paul when I made some small changes & an addition and when it came to to arranging the follow up sale call with Paul and then the technical survey and deposit payment etc. I checked out the Clonshaugh showroom delighted with the choices on display. There has been huge improvements in 20-25 year of window manufacturing since the existing windows in the house and the ones available now . A 7 week lead time was super, notification given prior to dates for install.
Fitters came and did a great job over the 3 days needed to properly remove the old windows and fit the new ones. Noel is good craic and all went well thanks to Noel, Victor and Willie.
The windows themselves and the professional fitting of the units have made a fantastic difference to the aesthetic of the house, the air tightness the noise reduction & the heat retention. They were put straight to the test because the installation finished last Friday the day of the storm, the driving wind and rain were outside we were well insulated and well protected from the elements outside. From my initial phone call for guidance with Susan who was so friendly and knowledgeable to the surveyor and the amazing fitters Jamie and Marcus, the level of professionalism was top tier.
They fitters left the garden and prep areas spotlessly clean.
The only downside is that the work and products were so good it may be a long while until we need them again.
The house felt instantly warmer even though we just replaced the glass panels in the windows along with new door at the back .

Fantastic experience from start to finish. I initially dealt with Paul who was very kind and knowledgeable and explained each stage of the process and the best options for me very clearly. The windows were completed within a quick timeframe and fitted by expert fitters. They were very friendly, efficient and clean. I’m delighted with the new windows. Paul’s advice was spot on and they really suit the house. I would highly recommend and will definitely work with Fairco in the future.

The installation was completed by Paul. He is a very thorough worker and so clean and tidy. We are delighted with the outcome.
We had to wait for 15 weeks from the time the order was submitted which was very annoying

The whole experience of working with Fairco was fantastic. Paul in sales was knowledgeable, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The windows and doors we ordered look great and have greatly improved heat retention and noise insulation in our home. And the fitting team were also fantastic - they worked quickly and to a high standard. Even when we had an issue with one of our windows being cracked during installation, Fairco resolved this issue quickly and without any fuss. On top of all the positive, Fairco quoted us a competitive price for a high quality product. Overall I am delighted I went with Fairco. I would highly recommend them.

Guys fitted doors quickly efficiently and expertly.
They were extremely neat and cleaned up after themselves. Their workmanship was excellent.

From start with Linda and Kevin who spent time going through the whole procedure with me to finishing with Victor, Frank,Ronan and Michael who did an excellent job replacing six windows and a kitchen door with the all important cat flap. Nothing phased them. Very polite tidy workers. Absolutely love my windows.

I had a very challenging window installation project to do. Fairco surveyed the job and gave me a competitive price. as part of the quote they outlined in detail how the project would be executed, including removal of existing windows, they also confirmed anticipated duration. They did an excellent job and what impressed me most was their attention to detail and how meticulous they were in keeping my home clean throughout the installation. Also, they did exactly what they said they would do and finished the job ahead of their own schedule. My home was left spotless. In addition I found the team to be very courteous and professional. I am delighted with the end result and have no hesitation in recommending Fairco for any door/window installation job.

The installation team was outstanding, incredibly courteous and efficient. However, a major ordering mix-up caused by inadequate systems at Farico led to delayed delivery and negatively impacted the overall experience.

Absolutely seamless from ordering to installation. All encounters with staff were pleasant and very efficient. I am very happy with my new windows, they are super quality and installed by courteous, clean and friendly workers. I cannot recommend Fairco enough.

Fairco installed replacement sash windows in my house. At first I was pleased with the product . However two panes failed and attempts to get Fairco to replace the glass was wearing to say the least. It took over two years of persist emailing and phoning to get the panes replaced.
A third pane subsequently failed. Fairco asked for payment to replace it. I said it was still under the 10 year guarantee to which they responded that the glass was only under a 7 year guarantee.
With regard to your reply I wish to point out that I contacted Fairco in 2023 well within the 7 year warranty. You failed to deal with the issue until 2025 . Also you did not restore the original sash windows you replaced them.

Excellent service from start to finish. We are delighted with our new doors. Everyone we dealt with was professional and helpful especially Paul in the sales team and Reg who installed the doors. We would recommend Fairco.

The first date for the installation was Wednesday 16th April 2025. We were promised that the installation of the three windows and one door would be completed in 2 Days. The crew arrived at 10.00am and I immediately received a phone call looking for the final payment as agreed. They did not tell me that one of the windows was not in the van and was not made at this stage.
Four days later, two windows and the door and frame were installed but the windows were not sealed from the outside due to bad weather and obviously they promised to do it asap.
Fairco never contacted me and only responded when I contacted them.
The third window was installed on Monday the 2nd June but the other windows were not sealed as promised.
Again no contact from Fairco so I sent photographs of the unsealed windows and eventually the windows were sealed on Friday 20th June.
I would not recommend Fairco and they caused us untold stress and we deeply regretted opting for them to provide and install the windows.

We had a full house of windows and doors from Fairco windows . From the initial visit from Paul to the installation team we could not have asked for a better service . The workmanship is fantastic and they left our house in immaculate condition . The difference in warmth and outside noise is unbelievable. Such high quality windows & doors . I would highly recommend this company .
