FCC Paragon is a worst referencing agency in entire country. Avoid it at all costs . When you make a direct contact with them , they just telling you - we can't help you ,let your agent contact us despite it was me who covered a cost for referencing. I've been a tenant for 6 years in the same property and have an excellent renting records , all i needed is to adjust my MTA mid tenancy agreement for continuing renting the same property. FCC Paragon said no ,you can't rent despite you earn 53k a year and they have all evidence.I had CCJ of 600£ on my record for forgotten phone contract,they declined my first application, I sorted it out immediately and made it removed or satisfied judgment. Now they say you have an adverse credit rating because of your ccj . Their task is to ruin people's life's despite they ain't got a clue in office. Talking to them is the same as talking to a brick wall , making a question and gives a zero answer. Company should provide a customer's with service and advise you instead of making total ignorance 🙄 I even can predict their response on my comments. Will be - thanks for your feedback. can you please contact us so we can investigate or discuss your comments further. Their referencing team agent even couldn't explain what is the difference between existing or new tenants. That shows a level of this FCC Paragon. . .

Kelly clarified and fully responded to my questions. She didn't advise but gave possible options and reasons behind various products that helped me to make up mind. The Landlord insurance was reasonably priced by match with other providers.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with FCC Paragon, and I must say, their service is absolutely rubbish. The staff were incredibly unprofessional and seemed to lack even the most basic knowledge of financial terms and procedures. Every interaction was frustrating, with constant mistakes and delays.
It was clear that they were not well-trained or informed about their own services, which led to a lot of confusion and miscommunication. I had hoped for a smooth and efficient process, but instead, I was met with incompetence and a complete disregard for customer satisfaction.
I would not recommend FCC Paragon to anyone looking for reliable financial services. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

My recent experience with FCC Paragon was deeply disappointing. Their service was not only unprofessional but also demonstrated a significant lack of financial knowledge. The staff made numerous errors, and the entire process was riddled with delays and confusion.
It felt like dealing with a company from the medieval era. They didn't even know what an Active Card Check is, which is basic knowledge in the financial services industry. It was evident that the team was not well-trained, as they struggled with basic financial concepts and procedures. Communication was poor, and I constantly felt left in the dark. This level of incompetence is unacceptable for a company in this field.
I cannot recommend FCC Paragon to anyone. For reliable and professional service, look elsewhere.

The telephone was answered almost immediately and the advisers were very helpful and importantly the price was very competitive

FCC Paragon have got to be the most unorganised referencing company we have ever dealt with.
Their online portal is not updated regularly, when you call you can never reach the person you need.
When you get an update its never accurate.
When the report is issued it often holds many silly mistakes which makes me question what the quality control department looks like that they continue to sell.
All in all I would avoid at all costs - you will spend more time chasing a referencing and trying to have it corrected than you will in preparing an entire tenancy.
This is not the team you want onside representing you and your business to your clients.

I have used FCC Paragon for my landlord insurance for a number of years. Most insurance companies are faceless corporations where everything is done online, so I am very happy to deal with FCC Paragon - a company that has a phoneline manned by human beings and continuity of staff and service that makes it unique in the industry. In particular Michelle MacKay is a pleasure do deal with.

Fcc paragon are thieves they will take your money and they’ll say oh you made a mistake by sending a wrong file and you are not allowed to rectify it so they fail you. I am dyslexic and i find it difficult to put things together hence my mistake with a document sent now my second reference with them everything was right and they have refused to pass me because I failed the initial one. FCC paragon is such a joke. I have seen other reviews and they say same thing about them it’s a shame especially Charlotte she’s very rude.
update: they have now contacted me and told me to send an email which i have done, they telling me to give them 5working days , am I supposed to be living in their houses until then because I’m confused? FCC paragon please return my money as I do not need your service and do not want a property managed by you lot. U lot are racist and I can’t deal. Dear black ladies never have any business with fcc paragon you will hate your existence
Update: they have refused to give my agent back the money they took for the second referencing and they are telling lies they have been in contact with me it’s a very big lie, I wish there is a way I can post screenshots as proof here. The company will frustrate you. They are thieves run away please. They said what I’m saying is not true I have seen how defensive they get on other feedback too, I tried to speak to their manager he lied he isn’t on seat and this is someone I called few minutes lieing to me that he didn’t take money from my agent only to realise he actually took the money . fcc paragon give my money back to the agent so they can pay me if not I’ll sell your story out to blogs and get more people to look into how horrible your company is.

I have always felt that Paragon insurance provided excellent value for money. However, today I needed to change the terms of the policy. I called customer support and the agent listened carefully to the changes I needed and told me this change would be actioned immediately at no extra cost.Great products, Great customer service

My partner and i recently let a flat and found FCC Paragon exhibited an absurd level of intrusiveness, requesting highly sensitive documents such as bank statements and scrutinising our financial transactions with an unnecessary level of detail. This intrusive behavior extended to questioning seemingly routine transactions, including transfers between my partner's own accounts. Their unfounded queries regarding these transactions, insinuating they were related to rent payments, were not only absurd but also highly offensive and disrespectful of our privacy.
In all our prior experiences with letting processes, the provision of contracts and proofs of address has sufficed to establish credibility and trustworthiness. Never before have we encountered such a flagrant disregard for personal boundaries and common sense as demonstrated by FCC Paragon.
We strongly urge you to reconsider using FCC Paragon

Bloody awful company. Simple tenant referencing was turned into an utter farce. Wanted proof of my change of name from over 30 years ago after an acrimonious divorce. This is over zealous for simple tenant referencing, I’ll be taking legal advice and redress.

Terrible service. Claimed I have to sign a politically exposes persons form, pay 6 months rent upfront, and show them a full bank account statement because their research falsely claimed my father is the head of a city councel 200 miles away, he's a factory worker. They also didn't even get his name correct despite me writing it in the referencing application multiple times. I called to receive a rude passive agressive response and no answers from anyone currently on how they got this wrong.

We currently pay £1450 a month in rent and have never missed a payment in the 18+ months since starting our contract.
FCC Paragon has failed us on a new property, saying we couldn't afford to rent at £1,112 a month.
That makes zero sense.
New nuance to these algorithmic style decisions. They have actively chosen not to help us save money.
They also don't classify student maintenance loans as income, although the government does classify them as income when assessing individuals on things like benefits.
They are a company that is set up to gatekeep people. Humans should be helping one another not putting barriers in the way of us all having good lives. Shame on them.

Very roude staff unprofessional I was dealing with mark three days to answer the phone both me and my partner earning over 100k a year for two bad flat his make my partner fail of benn overdraft in one bank statement and my took nearly to weeks and haven’t been done because of one 1£ less in payslip they took all my details passport number insurance number everything they got about me if I got scammed I will blame there not good for landlords or for tenants waste of time I will never use them at all just run a way if you heard about them
