Three Statement Model With Estimates – Financial Edge

This was a great experience because the course clearly explains both the mechanics and the logic behind linking the three financial statements and building forward-looking estimates. The step-by-step structure, realistic assumptions, and focus on why decisions are made, not just how to calculate, make the model intuitive, robust, and genuinely useful in real-world investment banking, private equity, and corporate finance contexts.

The platform has videos on every possible topic and is a really great place for beginners like myself to get started and learn the basics. The videos are explained well and simply and many include Excel exercises, practicing content learnt in the videos as well as some Excel skills. There is plenty of content I have yet to cover (I have spent 5 hours and only covered 6% of one of the courses) but it is great to see there are also some more soft skills such as interview prep available. 100% would recommend to people like myself looking for a finance internship but don’t know where to begin learning it all.

The hands on learning with building financial models was amazing.

I find the course to be all over the place, unorganized and the videos are just read by the instructor in a very fast manner, without any engagement or detailed and in depth explanations. Overall, I'm disappointed. I thought it was an actual preparation course not just a certification without knowledge.
Unfortunately, I paid for it, so I'd have to finish it

I like the “plug and play” focus on the course, this is the way I personally like to study, even though it might not be theoretical enough for intellectual enthusiasts.
Apart from that, the course is VERY complete, love the real life examples and the excel exercises on every step of the way.

The Investment banker Course is a must if you want to understand the basics of the job. It is so clear even without prior technical knowledge.

I initialy bought the full fledged Equity Research course, however after realising that most of the course was not for me, the team was very supportive and provided me a partial refund and allowed me to keep the modules I actually wanted.

The teaching quality is very good, the videos are well animated. I would just ask more detailed excel exercises would make the learning much better. Apart from that all is great.

I love how FE instructors will instantly reply to my questions posted under course video. and I also love that FE has resources on various high finance topics (such as ones focused on asset management) that other training platforms do not provide.

I had a fantastic learning journey with Financial Edge Training. I especially enjoyed the one-week in-person course in London with Gerard – he’s an incredibly engaging and knowledgeable lecturer. I also made great use of the online platform Felix, where I completed several certified learning paths, such as The Investment Banker. The content was high quality, and both the trainers and support staff were outstanding. Special thanks to Enuma from Learning Support for her prompt help and kindness.
