Terrible customer service from such a hi-end tool company. Been waiting months for my tools to be delivered. I'm now getting no response from the customer service department. Cant believe how rude they are after using the tools for over 30 years. Last thing i wanted to do was write a negative review but i'm lost for what else to do

Festool no longer care about customers.

What a disappointment Festool has become. I’ve spent over £30,000 with them . Most recently scammed on the hundred pounds cashback by them but today I returned a sander that I bought four months ago that jammed up and stopped working. I was told it may take four months just to be looked at. Essentially, I’ve just been denied my warranty rights today. Festool have always had a reputation for the best, but now it makes better sense to buy elsewhere as Festool cannot be trusted. Shame.

Festool does not stand behind items damaged during shipment

I am outraged with Festool. I purchased a $1600 track saw through Rockler that was drop shipped directly by Festool. When the saw arrived it had been dropped during shipment, causing damage to the systainer (hard resin case) through the shipping box. I have reached out to Rockler who has been talking to Festool. Festool agrees to replace the systainer but will not exchange for a new track saw. This is a precision tool and very likely is no longer correctly calibrated after being dropped so hard. Nor can I check the accuracy of the tool without using it, which would definitely make it non-returnable. At this time, my only option is to PAY for shipping to return my damaged item. I am beyond disappointed with Rockler and Festool. I thought they were both reputable companies but this is unacceptable customer service.

Meiner Dominofräse ließ sich nicht mehr…

Meiner Dominofräse ließ sich nicht mehr ausschalten. Die Fräse war 3 Jahre und ein paar Tage alt, also aus der Garantie heraus, hatte tatsächlich aber nur ein paar Dominos gebohrt (Neuwertiger Zustand). Meinem Kulanzantrag wurde statt gegeben und die Fräse war 4 Tage nach Absendung kostenlos repariert zurück. Toll!

Great tools until they are not…

Great tools but don't send anything in to be repaired. My repair quote came in at the same price as a new unit. Fair enough their parts are very expensive so I didn't proceed and I asked for my extactor to be sent back to me. It was, but missing parts. Customer services were useless and explained that a part was throw away, even though it wasn't one of the damaged parts. They seems suprised that I wanted all of my machine back and were totally unapologetic for having thrown some of my extractor away and just sending me some of it back. I've spent thousands on Festool over the years and this lack of respect for customers has totally put me off them.

Ho fatto un ordine in data 10 ottobre 2025 e ad oggi non mi è arrivato nulla. ho mandato una mail l'11 novembre 2025 alla quale un risponditore automatico ha detto che avrei avuto riscontro entro due giorni ma non ho notizie.
ho visto che mi hanno attribuito tanti nr di ordine e questo mi ha fatto insospettire.

Festool buitengewoon goed

Ik werk al meer dan 20 jaar dagelijks met Festool machines in de bouw. (Schuren, zagen, boren enz.) Deze machines zijn bijzonder betrouwbaar en er zijn machines bij die al meer dan 20 jaar oud zijn en werken nog steeds goed. Als er toch een mankement is wordt dit door Festool altijd goed opgelost. Mijn ervaring is dat de service en nazorg bij Festool buitengewoon goed zijn.

IBuy ONLY GERMAN MADE FESTOOL have more than ten festiols and I am…

I have more than ten festiols and I am very satisfied with the performance through the years. My issue is with Festiol parts made in Czech republic for LS130. Those parts are still in the original package and are no good although they were never used. Another part # 490780 for the same tool but made in Germany is in perfect condition. MY ADVICE IS MAKE SURE THAT THE FESTOOL TOOL OR PART FOR IT IS MADE IN GERMANY.
I wish I can add pictures but I don't see it possible.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I've been using festool for many years. Got the new tsx12 after my old one had given me may years of use. Straight out of the box there was a noticeable wobble in the bit. When I brought it into my local dealer they replaced it with a non faulty one straight away after noticing the issue. I also sent a video to festool customer service and they said it was not normal.
5 months later I get a call from there repair department. Not knowing that I had gotten a replacement he tried to deny there was any problem with the tool and that it was normal to have a wobble. I've been a cabinet maker and kitchen assembler for over 25 years , use many drills and never had any wobble issues. He said I must never had used a drill before and the wobble was normal on drills. When I told him I had received a replacement because the fault had been acknowledged he didn't know what to say.
Expected more from festool, if this is the way the company has gone, especially at the price they charge it will be the last time I buy anything from them. Extremely unprofessional and obviously service and quality is gone down hill

I bought a sander with a cash back…

I bought a sander with a cash back offer of £100 , I applied and was told I’d receive it but it hasn’t arrived. Festool have ignored 6 calls and emails to send the money. They’ve just refused to send it all together. The staff are rude and arrogant. I’ve spent my life buying Festool possibly £25000 and they scam me for £100 never again Festool!!! You lost a valuable customer!!

Avoid buying these tools

Avoid buying these tools, we are a repair centre and the spares waiting time is mad, they used to be brilliant and hardly any for repair, but it looks like there quality control and customer service has fallen down somewhere, would not now recommend

Slechte festool rts 400

Ich habe nur gute Erfahrung mit Festool gemacht. Mein Akkusauger war neu und defekt, wurde sofort repariert innerhalb 2- Tage war der Sauger wieder im Einsatz. Der Kundenservice war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich bin mit Festool vollkommen zufrieden.

Service fantastisch

Irgendwie hat sich an meinem MFT/3 Tisch ein Haltebügel gelöst und er war blöderweise auch abhanden gekommen. Über den Festool Ersatzteilshop habe ich einfach das Ersatzteil gefunden und es wurde auch in 2 Tagen geliefert.

Miserabler Kundendienst

Ersatzteile können direkt bezogen werden , aber zb den Staubbeutel soll man bei einem Zwischenhändler bestellen, die dümmste Firmen philosophie die ich je gesehen habe. natürlich bestellt man doch zu dem benötigten Ersatzteil sein Filter mit. Statt dessen beginnt ein Email Marathon und verschwendet unnötige Zeit und Geld. In der vergangenheit war das zusammen bestellen immer Möglich jetzt auf einmal nicht mehr. Begründung : Guten Tag Herr XXX

Das Zubehör ist nur beim Handel bestellbar. Wenn ich Ihnen nur die Ersatzteile sende, dann hätten Sie 2x Portokosten,
dies sollten wir doch vermeiden. Somit bitte ich Sie, die gesamten Teilenummern bei Ihrem Händler zu bestellen.

Dies sollte doch ohne Probleme möglich sein. Wenn Sie in der Vergangenheit Zubehörteile direkt erhalten haben, so
war dies ein Fehler.

Wir haben bei Festool etwa 70 Maschinen im Betrieb im Einsatz und reparieren im schnitt 2-3 pro Monat und bestellen seit Jahren direkt unsere Ersatzteile ...

Fazit : früher war der Kunde mal König ... heute muss man betteln das man ein Ersatzteil bekommt...
