I, like others, have a £1200 patio set, owned for less than 12 months, where the rattan coating is peeling! Fimous refuse to accept accountability and the resolutions offered are simply unacceptable. If you are thinking of purchasing from this company I would suggest you proceed with caution.

I purchased a Rattan dining table from B&Q in August last year. Unfortunately the glass shattered, we presume from the heat. I contacted B&Q to get a replacement and they referred me to the '3rd party provider' called Fimous. I submitted a contact form and within a few hours I had a reply, made a payment and received confirmation of my order and shipment. Fantastic customer support, very efficient and friendly and to be fair the quality of our Rattan rising dinig table is exceptional. Thanks Fimous!

Avoid Fimous – faulty furniture and unacceptable resolution

I paid £1,367.05 for a new 12-seater garden furniture set from Fimous. After spending several days assembling it, I discovered multiple defects.

The main fire pit feature cannot be used because the control panel does not fit the table correctly as supplied. Fimous’ solution was to send shims and longer bolts to modify the fitting rather than provide a correctly fitting part.

Numerous cushions supplied as part of the same set are also mismatched in size, thickness and colour, and the furniture has several defects in the finish and powder coating. I was initially told replacement cushions would take around two months, then later told they could be supplied immediately.

I rejected the faulty set and made it available for collection. Fimous insists that I must dismantle the entire huge set myself before their courier will collect it, despite me explaining that I have nowhere to safely store all the dismantled sections.

Their offer was replacement cushions, shims and bolts, plus just a 10% refund. I even offered to keep the defective set for a 50% refund simply to end the dispute and avoid further stress, but they refused.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend buying furniture from Fimous. I paid for a new, complete and usable furniture set and instead received mismatched cushions, poor finish quality and a fire pit I cannot use, followed by weeks of difficulty trying to obtain a practical resolution.

Having issues with the fire pit and cannot contact any customer representive to look at replacement parts. The fire tray is havimg issues with the thermo coupler. When i try and ignite it, it lights but does staylit indicatimg a sensor issue. Howver there is no customer services to help.

The garden furniture itself is good but customer service is lousy.
Had one chair arrived without fixings or instructions and despite several phone calls and emails unable to make contact with anyone. Anyone know how to contact them? Got this via Tescos marketplace and they refer us back to fimous. Going round in circles!

Bought large patio furniture with gas fire inset in table. Overall good quality but the paint started flaking almost immediately even though we bought a cover for it.
Fimous response is for me to buy paint and paint myself and they’ll help with the cost of the paint! Paint continues to flake daily!

The cushions delivered were a much darker colour than advertised. Fimous could not provide the colour advertised- very annoying.

Furniture was delivered quickly, but driver did not call ahead to let us know what time he was arriving as promised, so he had to leave the product in the drive until we could get there.

Furniture is reasonable quality for the price. However, the side table is weirdly tall and looks strange, so won’t be used.

Dealt directly with them via WhatsApp with Chinese 86 phone number ending 2229 on their website as Debenhams or B&Q marketplace couldn’t specify delivery times and we wanted one urgently. No cheaper than Debenhams but had the option to collect from CV37 warehouse for £50 less or next day delivery. Paid directly to a UK bank account and the set arrived the next day as promised. No complaints about that. Everything is well made. Unlike a lot of other garden furniture, there are no plastic fixtures and fixings. All the fixings are metal bolts into or through the adjoining metal furniture frames. It helps to have your own spanner and cordless screwdriver with Allen key. Assembly was easy. There is no cover. My only criticism is that it looks slightly miniature but maybe I’m comparing it to luxury outdoor furniture that you get at hotels etc. rather than home stuff. The nice thing is you get a single chair rather than the usual stool.

Decided to take the plunge and buy this Fimous 7 seater rattan corner set with firepit through Wowcher .
Wasn't sure how long it would take, so expected a delay however it arrived within the week.
Assembly not difficult but took my wife and I a few hours to complete. Quite impressed with the quality especially for the price paid. Safety glass panel slightly damaged so contacted fimous who sent out a replacement with no quibble. Customer service very good. No problems at all with this purchase.

I received my garden furnisher earlier than predicted that was a bonus, year down the line I had a slight problem with the table fire I got in touch with Fimous and their response was very quick asking how they could help. They suggested taking a video or photo of the problem which I did and they sent more then we aspected a complete replacement of the fire-table Now that is what I call good costumer service Thank you Fimous
