Do not order from them they send bad…

Do not order from them they send bad wine, then I offered a solutin through Paypal for a refund and return of wine and they claim I have not contacted them. I spend over $400 on three bottles of wine and they are junk. Improperly handled.

Hello, we respectfully disagree with this characterization of the situation.

Prior to the PayPal dispute being opened and these reviews being posted, there were no attempts to contact us directly regarding your concerns. Once we became aware of the issue, we spoke with you and agreed to accept a return for a refund.

Since that agreement was reached, the bottles have not been returned, the PayPal dispute remains open, and our phone calls and PayPal messages regarding the return process have gone unanswered.

We are always willing to work with customers to find a fair resolution, and in this case we agreed to take the bottles back. Unfortunately, it is difficult to resolve the matter when the agreed return process has not been completed and communication has ceased.

All wines are stored in our temperature- and humidity-controlled warehouse. We also carefully inspect each bottle for signs of leakage, ullage levels, color, and overall condition before adding it to our inventory.

When i submitted the order

When i submitted the order, I spent extra for quicker shipping in order to make it here by a specific date. However it took 3 days for the order to process thru your system before it even sent. Therefore it did not make it here by the date I needed it. Causing big issues. Not happy. So you chose not to send out the shipment on friday because it might sit in the fed ex warehouse for a day. Because you chose to hold the shipment it sat in a fed ex facility for 3 days because I did not receive it by my son's wedding which we had to leave town for is why we were not able to be home to sign for it. All your fault not mine. If you would have sent it Friday it would have arrived by Tuesday, no problem. Instead, the first attempted delivery was friday instead of Tuesday.

Hello, thank you for your feedback. We apologize that the order did not arrive by your desired date.

Upon reviewing the shipment, the order was placed with 3-Day Express service just before a holiday weekend. To help preserve the quality of the wine, we did not ship on Friday, as this would have left the package sitting in a FedEx facility over the weekend. Instead, the order was shipped at the first available opportunity following Memorial Day, as FedEx does not operate on the holiday.

According to the tracking history, FedEx attempted delivery twice, but both attempts were unsuccessful because the recipient was unavailable. The package was then successfully delivered on June 2.

We also note that no delivery deadline or time-sensitive need was communicated to us at the time of purchase, nor were we contacted regarding any concerns during transit. Had we been aware of a specific required delivery date, we would have been happy to discuss available shipping options and work toward a solution together. :)

We appreciate your business and the opportunity to clarify the circumstances surrounding this shipment.

The best in the business!

This was my 10th purchase from Fine Liquors (1-2 bottles of single malt per order), and I honestly couldn't be happier with the prompt, excellent, personal customer service I've received from them. I'm on the other side of the country, but every interaction with their team makes me feel like I'm there in person, browsing a delightful shop with with an exceptionally well-curated collection. I did have one issue with a shipment a few months ago, and they immediately responded to my email and offered me a very generous store credit in compensation. I won't shop for collector bottles of whisky anywhere else!

We do see that the package has since been successfully delivered. Tracking information was also provided via email when the order shipped so that progress could be monitored throughout transit.

Delivered very warm to almost hot wine

Unfortunately, this is the third time we ordered wine from Fineliquors that has been delivered very warm to almost hot. (This is the first time we ordered under my name, and 2 other family members have also had wine delivered to this end.) The first time we called to explain what we received and how it was received. The second time we did not. This order was received in the same way, warm to almost hot with dead cold packs that were there, weren't nearly enough of them to keep the internal packaging cold or even cool.

So easy to order

So easy to order, they had in stock what I wanted (could not find the bourbon locally). Shipping for a single bottle is pricey but combined with multiple items the cost per bottle is still quite reasonable.

While shipping a single bottle can be more pricier, alcohol shipments require special services such as Adult Signature Required, meaning someone 21 or older must be present to accept the package. These requirements make shipping alcohol more costly than shipping standard items. We appreciate your understanding that the value improves when shipping multiple bottles together.
