First Charter Bus rental was great! They called a couple days before hand to ensure they had the appropriate busses, timelines and locations. Drivers were very professional as well.

First charter rental in East Hartford was fantastic to work with! I rented two shuttles for my wedding and both drivers were amazing, as was their dispatch office in advance of the wedding.

The only critique I would have is coordination changes between the national office and local office. The local office was fantastic in helping but we’d occasionally have to redirect between them and the national office. It seems like there could be some room for improvement

I don't believe the first bus executed the full amount of people it should have therefore creating overflow of passengers in the second bus. This created a bit of havoc of our wedding guests not being able to get to the ceremony timely.

I want to first start off by saying the driver was very good! He tried to make the best out of a hectic situation. On Saturday, June 12 we hired the bus as a shuttle for our wedding guests. We had originally booked through Courtyard Marriott in Manchester. Due to many scheduling and booking errors on the hotels part, our room block was moved to the Fairfield Inn and suites. After contacting the bus company a couple months in advance, we received confirmation that the pickup location was accepted, and have the email stating this.
The day of the wedding, as I am trying to enjoy every moment with my family taking photos, all our phones started ringing; the bus that was scheduled for 3:30, was not there at 3:45. After tracking down the phone with the missed call from the driver, we realized he was at the wrong hotel. We informed him the pickup location was Fairfield. He was never given the updated itinerary!! As we waited and waited for over 30 people to arrive at our wedding to begin, we got a call that a man from anther wedding group wouldn’t let the bus leave thinking it was his ride.

Our wedding, that was suppose to be 4pm start, began at 4:25. This caused our whole schedule to be pushed back and caused us to go over our time frame and get charged by Maneeley’s for the extra time, as we didn’t want to cut our wedding short due to a miscommunication with the transportation company.

I am very disappointed and upset that this mistake caused a very stressful start to our special day, for us and our guests. We paid good money to have reliable transportation for our wedding guests!!!

Drivers Can't Follow the Plan
I hired this company to transport my guests from our hotel to my daughter's wedding venue. There were nearly 100 people staying at the hotel. Two bus drivers completely ignored the contract which said to bring the guests at 5:45. The refused to leave until 6:15, even though all the people on the buses were telling them they were wrong and were going to be late. All the guests were late. This caused the entire night to be late and cut our already covid-restricted cut-short wedding to be cut more. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. Company did refund some of the cost but had no real explanation and can never turn back time to bring the guests at the agreed upon time.

The Best! I’ve never chartered anything like this before, and someone had recommended that I could get a school bus to shuttle wedding guests back and forth from the hotel and reception. This was super easy to get a quote, book it, and use it. We were running a little late, so I texted our driver and asked how I could go about adding an extra hour. She took care of everything, and let me know it was fine. Everyone commented how nice she was, and all our guests were able to enjoy themselves knowing that they would be safely delivered back to the hotel. I would absolutely recommend using them again! We used first student for guest transportation at our wedding. They arrived on time and were wonderful! Our guests said the driver was fantastic and it gave me peace of mind that people had a ride option if they were enjoying the open bar. Highly affordable and would recommend to anyone!
