⭐️ My experience with Fitribe and cancellation
⭐️ My experience with Fitribe
I would strongly recommend that anyone considering joining Fitribe reads the contract and payment arrangements very carefully before signing up.
I completed my 9-month Fitribe membership and was under the impression that my payments would finish once my 9 months were completed. I was then surprised to find out that I was still required to make payments through PayRight, even though my Fitribe membership had ended and I was removed from the Fitribe app.
I have also tried to cancel the payments with Fitribe and explained that I have lost my job and am experiencing financial hardship. I was then asked to provide bank statements, payslips and other financial information.
I find this completely unacceptable. My personal bank statements and financial information are private, and I do not believe anyone should feel pressured into handing over such sensitive information just to try to cancel a payment arrangement.
What is particularly frustrating is that once the 9-month Fitribe period is finished, you are cut off from the app, yet the PayRight payments continue. I genuinely did not realise that I would still be financially committed after my Fitribe membership had ended.
Customers need to be made absolutely clear from the beginning about the full length of their financial commitment, especially when a third-party payment provider such as PayRight is involved.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience and the way this situation has been handled. Make sure you understand exactly what you are signing up for, how long you will be paying, and what happens to your PayRight agreement after your Fitribe membership ends.
My advice to anyone considering Fitribe: read every part of the contract and PayRight agreement carefully. Don’t assume that your payments finish when your Fitribe membership finishes. Ask exactly how much you will pay in total, how long the PayRight agreement lasts, and what happens once you are removed from the Fitribe app.
For me, this has been an extremely expensive and frustrating experience, and I would not sign up again.
