My car were repaired through my…
My car were repaired through my insurance company and Fix Auto contacted me to arrange collection after my holiday, they came on Monday fetched me a hire a car that were automatic, the only issue i found were the hire car were bit low and struggled to get in and out but they only had my car 3 days which were great, all the staff were amazing and communication were kept up to date and you did not get passed around staff to find information out.

Excellent Service
This is the first time I have used this company and it wont be the last. Everyone I came into contact with was super polite and helpful. The work was very well done and completed ahead of time. I was kept informed of progress throughout.

Great customer service
Great customer service - the phone calls to keep me updated about what was happening with my car and the repair were really helpful and a stand out feature from this company. Even when there were delays to the work due to waiting for parts I was kept fully informed.
I however was disappointed that when my car was returned to me the two rear tyres showed low pressure and it had been clearly driven back to me with the alerts for low tyre pressure.

Fantastic customer service
Following what was a traumatic experience with my new car, which was hit by another just days after delivery, repair was arranged by my insurance company with Fix Auto. Throughout the whole process I was kept fully informed of progress by a member of staff, Kerri, even when there was a delay with parts delivery because of the bank holiday. This kind of customer service is sadly lacking these days but Fix Auto treat the customer as a priority. Well done!

Lant Lane Fix Auto
Lant Lane gave me an immediate quote, arranged collection and carried out my repair within a few days. Payment easy to make over the phone and my car was delivered back to me as good as new. Excellent service and I would recommend them highly.

They were very prompt in collecting my car for repair but when the invoice came, it was unclear which company to pay. I eventually sent £250 to Lant Lane Limited and I pray it reaches the place it was meant to!

The repair of our car
The repair of our car is beyond reproach.
Unfortunately the problem we encountered was with the courtesy car provided. Whilst returning home from a concert we hit a sizable pot hole immediately releasing tyre pressure. We managed to nurse the car home.We contacted "FixAuto and were informed that a replacement tyre would be charged to us. We agreed to that and the courtesy car was picked up.Later that day we were told the car needed a new alloy at a total cost of £1032.48,which we paid immediately because the MD stated they needed the car back on the road. The photographs provided show no damage to the wheel except rubber from the tyre adhered to the rim. Basically we were extremely disappointed to receive such a bill particularly when no one made us aware our insurance was transferred to the courtesy car requiring a second claim and further loss of no claims bonus.

In response to the tire and wheel on the courtesy car
you contacted us on the Monday and advised the tire on the courtesy car was damaged as your repairs were complete we delivered your vehicle and collected the courtesy car on the recovery truck once the vehicle came on site it was obvious that the tire had been run flat causing damage to the alloy wheel which we provided images to yourself to confirm We advised that you could put a claim through on the Insurance or you could pay yourself, you asked if you could source a wheel yourself and unfortunately we could not agree to this as we need to confirm the safety of the wheel and tire as the vehicle goes out to other customers and we are liable for the safety of the vehicle
The Courtesy car is not owned by Fix Auto Matlock and is leased, the lease company will also insist that the wheel and tire are like for like or we would get fined.
I understand this was a frustrating experience and we did advise that you could put a claim through on your insurance and would only be liable for your excess.
We try to be as transparent as possible and we advise on the booking in form and also the courtesy car handover form that any damages to the courtesy car you will be liable and this has been signed by yourself.
The procedure for your Insurance company is that your Insurance transfers over to the courtesy car whilst your vehicle is in for repair. This is standard practice and would be advised in the terms and conditions of your Insurance and I'm sorry if this was not advised when you made the claim with your Insurance Company I shall pass this on to them so they can make sure this is reaerated to the customer when making a claim.
I'm sorry this tainted your repair experience especially as you say the repairs were perfect but we believe we have acted with transparency and feel the one star review is unjust.
