Flightoffice didn't actually book our flights, didn't answer our calls, and now I have to pay 3X the price

Response to their reply, they did not indicate the lack of payment at all when they reached out and we called them 5 times and every time they didn't answer and their mailbox was full. You can't say "you didn't call us back" when your mailbox is full and you don't pick up the phone during your business hours. Ridiculously bad service and highly recommend no one books with them.

We booked flights with Flightoffice in November for a flight in May this year. We got a confirmation so everything looked good on our end. We get a voicemail call with no details asking us to call them back. We call 5+ times and every time no answer and the voicemail box is full so we can't even leave a message. Now a few weeks before our flight we're called and told they never actually booked the flight and that the price is over 3X the amount from originally. We checked the airline directly and what they're trying to push us is 700 pounds more than what the airline is charging if we were to book directly.

Whether or not they're a scam, I'm going to be out over 1000 pounds to book my families flights last minute because of their incompetence at best or attempt to extort us for money last minute at worst.

Please note that we did not receive any successful payment for this booking. While an attempt may have been made on 01st December, the transaction was declined, and no funds were credited to our account. As a result, the booking was never confirmed or ticketed.
We also emailed you for a callback on the next day of your attempt, for which we did not receive any response from your side.
We kindly request you to check with your bank as well regarding the status of the attempted transaction.
Kindly understand that reservations are only secured upon successful payment. Since no payment was received, the fare was not held and is no longer available.

Warning to other travelers

Warning to other travelers: avoid this booking agency. They appear on comparison sites showing lower fares, but after I completed payment they called to say the airline couldn't confirm my selected flight. They offered to rebook me on another day 'at the same price' but actually used my payment to purchase tickets on dates that were more profitable to them. When I asked for a full refund they insisted refunds take up to 30 days to process and effectively held my money hostage. Attempts to escalate were met with poor customer service and no UK office contact — many staff operate from India with limited local support. This feels like deceptive pricing and unfair refund practices. I strongly recommend choosing a different, transparent provider with verifiable local contact details.

As a result, we offered you an alternative option for one day later. We proceeded with the booking only after receiving your confirmation and acceptance.
Please note that if you had preferred to cancel the order at that stage, we would have processed the cancellation without accepting the payment.

Dreadful, forced to give 5* review or pay £300 extra

Dreadful, increased ticket price by £300 after I’d already paid and original ticket price was only honoured on the condition I would leave a 5 star review on Trustpilot. Shocking lack of integrity; this is the explanation for all the positive reviews here but now my flight was in the past I have deleted my forced fake review and spelling out the truth here! Avoid!!

I had a quick hiccup with my booking…

I had a quick hiccup with my booking and reached out to the flight office for help. The first person I spoke with told me to expect a call back within 10 minutes, but Adam actually rang me in less than five! He was incredibly friendly and professional, making the whole process feel easy instead of stressful. Truly impressive service—I’d highly recommend them to anyone.

I recently worked with Mr. Ben to book two air tickets, and I couldn't be happier with the service. He was prompt, professional, and had a great intuition for the best routes and rates for my trip. If you want someone who is fast and truly knows the industry, ask for him.

BEWARE SCAMMERS!!!

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!! Stay away from this company! We tried to book a flight through this company, but as soon as payment was taken, we received a call asking for more money. When we asked for a refund, we were told that we would recieve in 10 working days, this cam and went, when we contacted again, we were told 5 working days, then again 7 working days and so on.... This was back in December and still no refund has been received. We intend to go through small claims court now. Please don't make the same mistake that we did!

Scam artists.
This fraudulent company is not trustworthy and is colluding with scam artists fronting as trup. I transferred funds into their account to pay for tickets in very dire circumstances and am still chasing them for the refund.

I strongly recommend not booking with this company.
I found what looked like a great deal on a flight and paid in full. Shortly after, they called me to say the ticket was no longer available (despite it being booked far in advance and not full like they said), and then tried to push me into buying a different, option with another airline.
When I declined, I was told I would receive a full refund within 10 working days. In reality, they went completely silent after that after multiple attemps of communication and it took over 3 months and I had to go through a formal dispute process to get my money back.
This experience caused a lot of unnecessary stress. Based on this, it appears they advertise very low prices to attract customers and then attempt to sell alternatives when those deals are not honoured.
I would strongly advise booking directly with airlines or trusted providers instead.

Opportunist crooks

Opportunist crooks. Having had my flight from Auckland to London via Dubai cancelled due to Trumps war with Iran, I was intially pleased Jimmy found me a flight home via LA, even at an extortionate £2100 for the two of us. However, I’ve since discovered Virgin Atlantic only charged £1200 for these flights and therefore this company ripped me off to the tune of £900 and flatly refuse to respond to my attempts at discussing this with them.
Disgusting.

Ripped Off. All correspondence ignored and refund kept

Last year in April 2025 I booked a Qatar airlines flight through this company, paid the quoted ticket price and then was subsequently told by "Sean" at Flightoffice WhatsApp that checked luggage required an additional charge before a reservation can be made. I immediately WhatsApped "Sean" at Flightoffice and firmly indicated that I would rebook through Qatar Airlines, which I did at no extra charge and then requested a refund for the payment made to Flightoffice only moments before. No reservation was made by Flightoffice and all my emails and Whatsapp messages sent by me over the next few months requesting a refund have been ignored. The company still has my money. That's the last time I use a 3rd party like Flightoffice to book a flight.
