Thank you for taking the time to explain your experience in such detail. We are genuinely sorry that your first experience with FlightsTravel left you feeling disappointed and frustrated. We understand that receiving a different outcome from what you expected after making a payment attempt can be extremely frustrating, particularly when the airfare changes during the process.

We would, however, like to clarify an important point regarding what happened with the payment and the subsequent change in fare.

From the circumstances described in your review, the payment was **reversed by your bank/card provider rather than successfully settled with FlightsTravel**. You have mentioned that when you contacted your bank, you were advised that the transaction had been reversed immediately and would subsequently clear from your card without affecting your available credit limit.

This distinction is important because a payment being temporarily authorised or appearing as a transaction on a card statement is not necessarily the same as the funds being successfully received and settled by the merchant. Where a payment is reversed before settlement, we cannot treat the booking as fully paid and issued on that basis.

We also appreciate your frustration that, by the time you contacted us again, the fare was increased. Even though the fare was increased, we sent you 2 emails (dated 12 Sept 2026 at 20:11, 12 Sept 2026 at 21:06) to confirm that we will honour the same fare (2205£) as you paid earlier and the company will take a hit, instead of penalising the customer due to the increased fare. Not only that, we even offered the free flexibility at the same fare (2205£), to compensate for the inconvenience, but you have decided not to book.

We respect your decision not to proceed with us, and we are sorry that we were unable to complete your booking.
