Pontoons and Accessories
I ordered pontoons and accessories to make a floating jetty for a lake to enable the boat to be enjoyed by slightly less able folk. The existing fixed jetty was just to difficult to access the boat as the water levels vary considerably over the year. We found both the pre and post sales support by FMB to be nothing less than excellent. There were a few hiccups in the delivery, but these were resolved quickly and without any dispute. I cannot recommend this business highly enough for its quality of customer service. Nigel Thomas

Quality is very good and is does what it says.
Disappointed to see that free was offered a couple of days later on the website, but that's life!

Thank you for your recent order and honest review of your experience. Your feedback is invaluable to us.
Appreciate your views on the cost of the pontoon kit. Let me assure you, our prices are not inflated based on the expected buyer. They are simply expensive to produce due to the quality of the materials and their volumetric size.
Although the cubes are predominantly air, all products are made from HDPE plastic for overall strength and rigidity of the pontoons and modular docks. Our aim is to be cheaper than everybody else, and certainly quicker in terms of delivery to our customers.
This naturally brings me on to the delivery charge. We state that delivery is free or discounted on both the pontoon and dock kits. Unfortunately, the couriers we often use dictate the charges to postal locations, with some delivery locations much more expensive than others.
Regrettably, your location falls outside of zone 1 and is why delivery was charged and not free in your instance. This has not be changed since your order was placed and is still the same when entering your postcode today.
Really appreciate your positive, yet constructive feedback. If I can offer any further information on the above or if you would like to discuss anything further, then please get in contact with me at your convenience.

So happy with my Dry Dock from Float My Boat. Got fed up being messed around by two other companies who couldn't give me answers I needed let alone tell me when delivery would be.
These guys were fantastic and delivered to me (well Plymouth Harbour) within a couple of days.

Found these guys purely by chance as…
Found these guys purely by chance as their website was super easy to navigate but wasn’t what I was after specifically.
I needed a 24sqm pontoon and messaged just for some advice.
Fast forward 4 days I have just had my pontoon delivered and at a great price.
I cannot recommend these guys enough, especially Mike who was so polite and nothing was too much trouble. They were so helpful from the moment I contacted them.
My only criticism was that they should advertise pontoons like they do for their dry docks… they are amazing!!!

I have a quicksilver 755 open great…
I have a quicksilver 755 open great boat but not so great with weed all over the hull. Got a modular dock from these guys back in summer 2023. Now up high and dry on the drive on boat dock, its hull is clean and smooth and it fly’s along every time i take it out. Have even left it in this winter and looking forward to using it over the festive period. Normally would take it out Oct - March. Had looked at all sorts of pontoons, bags, hoists to get the hull out the water but bottom line this seemed the easiest and simplest way to get the hull up and out the water. Simple to drive up onto, slightly more difficult to get off but nothing that bothers me. No maintenance required (that’s the dock im talking about) but the extra efficiency of having a smooth clean hull and labour / antifoul savings each year dealing with a dirty weeded up hull make this a no branner. I cant believe everyone does not have one if you leave your boat in for any period of time and you have a morning!

Island hopping to lovely places. Free food and drinks included. Shame about the weather. Was raining for 15 minutes. The rest of 5hours day weather . Dry places to sit. Friendly hosts. Loved diving into the sea . And the pasta omg out this world delicious.
