Avoid – Dishonest Communication, Delays & No Customer Service
I placed an order on July 4th with express shipping and noticed that the shipping label was only created on July 8th. Despite this delay, the store claimed the parcel had already been sent, an inconsistency that raised concerns from the beginning.
I personally lodged a case with Australia Post, after seeing no tracking updates. Australia Post confirmed the parcel had never been scanned at any depot, which means it was never actually sent. When I raised this with the store, I received vague and dismissive replies and a false statement to say they have followed up with Australia post . They didn’t and no action was taken to follow up properly or resolve the issue.
It’s become clear that this store does not hold stock and instead buys items after orders are placed, leading to long delays, no transparency, and a complete lack of accountability. Their emails were unhelpful, rude, dismissive and no effort was made to take responsibility or offer real customer care. My request for a refund or to cancel the order were ignored.
I loved the product I ordered, it was dispatched on the 30th July and arrived on the 1 August ( 24 days after order was placed ) but I refuse to support a business that shows such disregard for its customers. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, I strongly recommend shopping elsewhere.
I should have checked trust pilot reviews on this business before I purchased to see similar experiences

I ordered a pair of jeans, checked size chart before purchase. The size L (14) gave plenty of room however when it arrived it was more suited to a size M (12). Very tight and uncomfortable. Did not want a store credit because I only wanted jeans. Their sizing indicated it would be difficult to buy anything online and it be correct. Decided to keep jeans and find someone to give to - Vinnies I expect!

Rudest so-called "Customer Service" ever
After signing up to their newsletter to get a discount on a dress I was saving up for, I was bombarded by emails - several per day, clogging up my inbox, so I decided to unsubscribe. However, the unsubscribe link in their email took me to their website home page, and after several minutes looking, there was no option to unsubscribe either. I therefore used their "contact us" form to alert them to the fact that their unsubscribe link was broken and there was no way for me to unsubscribe, which is illegal, and that perhaps if they didn't send so many emails, less people might wish to unsubscribe. This was their response:
"You’ve been unsubscribed. Our technical team will review the unsubscribe link—because, you’re right, that’s definitely not how it should be working. Of course, a simple note pointing that out would have sufficed, but since you opted for direct comms… a matching response seems fair. Thanks so much for the legal clarity—truly, what a revelation. And as for the assumption that “maybe then fewer people will unsubscribe,” an interesting take, though not exactly grounded in reality. Regardless, we so appreciate the unsolicited guidance. Hope the rest of your week looks forward and upwards."
I was not rude, I did not use any swear words or insulting/derogatory terminology, unlike their responses to my unsubscribe request. Oh, and 3 months later, when I search for how to unsubscribe on their website help page, it comes up with "no result found"!
ADDENDUM:
Less than an hour after my above review was reviewed by Trustpilot and published, FlorenceStore published their response below. Thankfully, they have published my original message to them so everybody can see that my above review is factual. For FlorenceStore to claim that my statement "it is illegal" is a legal threat, to use their own language "is an interesting take but not exactly grounded in reality". It's appalling behaviour for any retailer, regardless of how they choose to interpret feedback on their email spamming. Another reason to wish there was a lower rating than 1 star.

Not good enough Florence
I ordered a silk+ shirt and wore it three times. Never washed it or dry-cleaned. Just noticed the seams have come apart and now not wearable. Contacted them and they said as I had worn it they had no responsibility. This is the second garment that the seams have split, the first one I was able to sew. I am 54kgs and they were not tight. Obviously very poorly made.

Waste of time and money
I bought some jeans for my daughter which looked quite nice on the website. Different story when they arrived. They were of a very poor quality. My daughter said they looked and felt like they were made of paper. Unfortunately, I didn’t realise, until too late, that this company offers no refunds. Rather bizarre considering it’s an online store. Needless to say, we did not follow up with an exchange because clearly the store offers only very poor quality clothing.

I absolutely love the casual t-shirt dress from Florence Store! The fit is perfect—I’m a size 18 and 175cm tall, and it falls beautifully without clinging. It’s comfortable, flattering, and has the perfect amount of stretch, making it ideal for travel (it doesn’t crease easily!). I’ve received so many compliments while wearing it that I went back and bought two more. The quality is excellent, and the customer service was great too. Plus, it has pockets—what’s not to love? Highly recommend!
The Striped Dress
I purchased this brown and black striped dress, and while it arrived quickly, the quality was a letdown. The fabric claims to be 100% cotton, but it feels scratchy, stiff, and cheap. It doesn’t hold its shape well, especially around the neckline and sleeves, where the stitching is loose and unstructured. The dress looks great in the photos, but the reality is far less flattering.
After just trying it on, it feels hot and uncomfortable, and I suspect that after a few washes, it will lose even more shape—destined for the rag pile. Unfortunately, they only offer store credit, not refunds, so shop carefully!
Customer service? Nonexistent. Just an automated bot with no real support. Checkout the standardised bot response for the range of problems from other Buyers. Beware, they want your money, but aren't interested in providing good customer service.
Overall, a disappointing experience—I will not be back! I have my stores I've used for years {Kowtow, Alpha60, Morrison} because I can rely on the quality and customer service will surpass. Sadly, this is not one of them!

Buyer Beware! Very questionable/faulty checkout on the site.
I’ve never written a bad review before but feel compelled to make others aware of my immense disappointment with Florence Store, as I wouldn’t like buyers to have the same experience as me. I live in a small country town and have purchased quite a few items online before, but never have I experienced a company with the disrespect and questionable ethics of Florence Store. I’ve purchased from MYER, ADORNE and FRANKIE4, and they’ve all been so helpful, friendly and accommodating whenever I’ve contacted and had any dealings with them. Unfortunately I can’t say the same for Florence Store. They don’t offer refunds, the buyer has to pay full returns to Aus Post for postage, their checkout system is questionable, and their emails are curt and in my opinion, automated. In short, they don’t seem to care that they are dealing with real people and as long as they have their money, nothing else matters.
Whilst putting through my order at online for a dress, I tried to pay at the checkout but the order wouldn’t proceed and a sign appeared to say the order couldn’t be processed.
Understandably, I tried to order the dress again but the same thing happened. I then tried to order again, and thought I’d ordered one dress. When I realised I’d mistakenly ordered 3 dresses I emailed them, as I didn’t need 3 dresses in the same style, but only 1.
I asked if they could do anything about it. They were very unhelpful and impersonal and just reiterated their policy.
One would think that a company with even ounce of respect for their customers would’ve applied at least some goodwill towards this matter, but unfortunately not Florence Store.
The total of the dresses was $455.86 and given the fact that I didn’t intentionally order 2 and the outcome wasn’t my fault, you can understand my disappointment in what I feel is a very unfair business.
I understand that businesses are finding it hard in these challenging times, but so are consumers and it’s not fair that my honest request has been dismissed. A fairer and just outcome would’ve been for them to keep my money for 1 dress, and refund the 2 others. Now they have my money and the dresses and I have to find more money for another dress, as I need a new dress for a family wedding.
An awful experience for me!
