I used to be a fluent customer
I used to be a fluent customer, and then they decided to sell a portion of their customers to a useless company in the east. They claimed to have sent out an email detailing the switchover, however I never received any emails from them with any of this information. So needless to say one day I called for help from a service technician and I was told that they weren’t allowed to help me anymore and basically hung up. The company they sold my account to (API alarm) has been a nightmare to deal with. Be cautious in signing a contract and make sure to read the fine print.

I was not going to bother leaving a review until I saw the one about Becky Foster. I have to agree 100%. I got sent to API over and over and totally ignored. Becky actually cares about people and helped me until the end. Fluent is better off without API, but keep that Becky on your side - she is the reason why we're going back with Fluent when we move.
A.P.I. Is Horrible On The Accounting Side
My name is Anna and I have been handling Ms. Meadows account since 3/25/24. It's started out with Mrs. Becky Foster with Fluent. It was explained to me that Ms. Meadows account will be paid in full in at the end of July 2025. In the meantime her account would be moved to a brother company A.P.I. I want to assume someone's awake over there and recognizes this name.
In September Ms. Meadows received an email stating she was 30 days past due. How is this possible? The accounts been satisfied for TWO months. I emailed the email address that was clearly stated on the invoice. I didn't hear back from anyone. I also called the phone number on your invoice, there was no response. I called the number numerous times a day until a 2 months later I received a call from Kamaldeep Singh. He assured me that this account would be removed from your system and Ms. Meadows would no longer receive any invoices.
Which brings us to November 2025. Take a guess as to what Ms. Meadows received on November 15,2025?
She was 90 DAYS PAST DUE!!! Here's a fun fact. I am very educated in the fact that sending out false invoices asking for money is considered a FEDERAL offense. Please look it up. Even though I am aware you could not after Ms. Meadows it still made her afraid.
So the last ditch effort I thought of was getting a hold of Becky Foster to perhaps get her help to resolve this issue. I was shocked to hear back for her so quickly because of my lates experience. She was wonderful!! she apologized, and assured me that this will be talked care of. About less that a week I also heard from Kamaldeep. This is the same guy that said this would be taken care of weeks ago. The only reason Ms. Meadows feels better about this is because Becky Foster. I would have given five stars for Becky Foster but goes beyond her.

Jonathan was very professional and thorough at addressing my difficulty being not able to login to my mobile app. Very patient and explained how I could setup and reuse my app. Terrific help and solved my problem.

Fluent Alarm showed up to my house in July 2022 unannounced while I was at work. The rep tricked my husband into extending our service even though he was under prescribed medication and wasn't coherent. I called to cancel, but was told my account was transferred to a.p.i. I never could reach anyone there and resolved to paying another 3 years. I. June 2025, I contacted Fluent again to cancel my service, as they never did an upgrade and th equipment is now 9 years old. I was directed to send an email to a.p.i. and did so. They responded and agreed to end my contract. I also called my bank and stopped the automatic payments. In October I received a bill stating I'm 3 months behind. I spoke with someone named Manji and received an email from him stating my service was terminated. Why did I get a Bill this month? I've left messages and no return call. I called the monitoring center and was told my account is still active and they are watching. I don't know what they are watching as I now have Ring and their equipment was tossed months ago. Still trying to get rid of this bill and speak with someone.
DO NOT GO WITH FLUENT! YOU ARE BETTER OFF WITH A RING SYSTEM!! ONE OF THE WORST "MONITORING" COMPANIES OUT, AS THEY ARE WATCHING A NONEXISTENT SYSTEM!!!!
