First Order Was a Disappointing Experience — I Won’t Be Back

I used FortNine for the first time for what should have been a very simple order. I even paid extra for shipping through Purolator, expecting a straightforward delivery. Nowhere was I made aware that a signature would be required for the package to be delivered.

When the delivery failed, I called FortNine and explained the situation. I was told they would contact the driver and ask them to attempt another delivery. Despite that, the driver again refused to leave the package without a signature.

I called FortNine a second time, explained how dissatisfied I was, and requested a refund. What disappointed me most was the complete lack of customer service and willingness to make things right. They had an opportunity to take responsibility, find a solution, and help resolve the situation, but I felt they simply didn’t care.

This wasn’t just an inconvenience. It completely disrupted my schedule for getting my motorcycle ready for winter storage. All of this over a simple order and a shipping issue that could have been handled much better.

There are plenty of other motorcycle retailers in Canada that deserve your business. Based on my first experience with FortNine, I would recommend looking elsewhere. A company shows its true colours when something goes wrong, and FortNine failed that test for me.

I have made multiple FortNine purchases over the past couple of years. All transactions went perfectly and process times and delivery speed were fast and accurate. I look forward to buying more products from FortNine because their prices are fair and customer service is excellent. They are an awesome source for MTB parts and gear. Five star service and great selection of products. 👍

Response times from support are very slow. After having a question answered before I ordered, which took a couple of weeks, I finally proceeded to order. My order was made Sept 1. It still hasn't shipped as of Sept 23. I was told there was a delay and Sept 17 would be the date I would have an update. I reached out, still no response. Highly likely I will not order again. IF I ever receive this order...

I ordered KLIM Gloves that Fortnine.ca showed as "In-Stock Order Today!" and "Leaves Warehouse Same Day". I select Purolator and pay extra because it will arrive 2 days earlier than alternatives and I'll have them before the weekend. Then 2 days later I receive an email stating "We wanted to let you know that your order has been delayed. It's currently in transit and will ship as soon as it arrives to our distribution centre."

This means they do not and did not have the product they are selling and the website listing is false. I chose a shipping method that would have it to me in two days and two days went by and I get an email showing they lied and sorry for the inconvenience. I'm tired of these false inventory websites that lie to get your order and then create delays. This is fraud IMO.

Five stars because they’ve always made finding, and finding out about, the gear I want very easy. Since my first order in 2018. A few times I had to return things and they always came through, making the experience seamless. They are a Canadian company which IS important to me, and the quality of their character reflects that. Ride on.

Other reviews mentioned that the shoes fit snugly. I assumed “snug” meant a close, performance-oriented fit...NOT the case. The accuracy of the advertised sizing versus the actual fit of this product is completely inaccurate. The size 46 we ordered is nowhere near a size 12, more like a snug size 10.

Parts arrived as described and within the time lines stated. Communication is very good,
