BUYER BEWARE

BUYER BEWARE Bought a class b w/600 miles. No power to hitch and digital mirror connection bad. Spent 5 hours at service dept, listening to them trash talk customers, to be told dodge problem...bye bye. Put in claim at Dodge and was informed of open recall on brakes. Rude sales manager couldnt care less. Someone drove it 600 miles and didnt notice the mirror problem? Open recall? Sound reputable?

Don't purchase from Fretz RV

Purchasing from Fretz RV was a huge mistake!
Just over 1 month ago I purchased a used Class A motorcoach form them. I had to wait a week to pick it up so they could have their service techs go over it and make sure everything was in working order. After picking up the RV we found multiple problems with the RV from LG gauges not working, fans not working, the Converter not charging the Batteries, The Batteries them selves seem to be no good and won’t hold a charge, Etc. And worst of all the RV almost killed my family and I!
We took the RV out for a quick trip up to Cabela’s and back. During the trip we hit a rough patch of road on 476. When we hit the rough road (at 70 mph) the dashboard started bouncing up and down and slamming down on the steering column. It was as if we were in a 9.0 earthquake. By the grace of God, I was able to regain control of the RV.
I stopped by Fretz to explain what happened and was told to see their service department. I stopped in their service department with the list of issue I had found so far and told them about the Dashboard issue. The woman that I was referred to said that the dashboard issue would NOT be covered by the VERY expensive warrantee that I had purchased and said it would require a autobody technician or something to look at it. She suggested that I get some L brackets and try to secure the dashboard myself!!!
Nearly 2 weeks later on the day of my appointment with service I called them to go over the issues and was pretty much told that most of the issue weren’t going to be covered. At that point I left a message for the service manager for him to call me so we could discuss what was going on. By the time he called me back later in the day (about 45 min before writing this review) I had cancelled the pointless appointment with their service department.
When I spoke to the General Manager and explained a few of the issues and told him about the Dashboard issue that happened he basically told me that the dashboard is not something that they would have looked at or checked during the inspection!!!! I get that it wouldn’t have been something that would been easily caught but to give that kind of response to hearing that the vehicle they sold a customer almost KILLED THEM!
I was so p!ss#d off after hearing that level of not giving a crap I ended up ending up hanging up. Personally, If I sold something that almost killed a family because of a major issue/defect I would care about it and not make excuses.

I can not recommend this dealership!!

I can not recommend this dealership!!! The sales people will say anything to get you to buy and once you do decide to purchase an rv you are considered on the hook and you will be put in a long cue while the sales team tries to get other people to commit to an sale before finalizing your sale! A side note is they mark up all used rv 30k just to help you know! Please plan to spend the whole day there as a buyer. Just a major heads up, once you purchase an rv then the real fun begins if you actually need service.they will NOT keep you updated about your rv in any way, shape or form! communication is not in their vocabulary! I and many other consider it a black whole as they will get you in for service and tell you it will be 2 weeks. what they fail to say is the 2 weeks is just to figure out what is wrong. you will need to pickup and reschedule once they get parts and then they will have you bring back. then they will give you a pickup date that is always off by a min of 2 weeks. hopefully its not entering winter month as this will incur an additional $150 winterizing charge even though it was their delay. In conclusion they know they are the only game in town and could careless if you are upset or not as they can afford too not care if your a happy customer. I write this as someone who has dealt with them for a few years and wanted to at least give a heads up to future purchasers so they actually are aware of how they do business.

the experience was made pleasant by the salesman Al Pappa who Went above and beyond to ensure that I got the right RV for my needs
Al Pappa was very educational informative, professional & Went above and beyond to make sure the experience was not only pleasant but also that I was satisfied and happy with my travel trailer on delivery!
I would definitely recommend to go to the dealership and ask for Mr. Al Pappa, who ...had it not been for his insight and patience with my decision this would not have happened ..!!!!

My wife and I traveled 1800 miles round…

My wife and I traveled 1800 miles round trip to look at a 2019 New Jayco Pinnacle fifth wheel model 38FLWS. Before leaving we ask if the camper had ever had any damaged of any kind. We were told no. After driving 900 miles to get there as soon as we pulled up I saw wrinkles all down the rubber roof. After getting out to look at the rv i saw a dent in one door, the ladder on top was pulled out of the roof and bent back. wrinkles down the other side on the rubber roof. 2 dents on the side of the rv also. we were absolutely lied to about the RV. After questioning Harris the sales person he went and got the parts manager. The sales manager finally told me that a tree limb had hit the roof and tore the rubber roof. So they lied and told me that it never had any prior damage. so we drove 1800 miles for a wasted trip. So if anyone out there is looking at the 2019 Jayco Pinnacle 38FLWS for 64,999 at Fritz Rv it has had prior damage. I was very unhappy with my experience there. Todd and Donna Carroll from Tennessee

without explaining everything, which took places over several days & countless emails, suffice it to say:

-i provided my credit scores/chapter 7 status & dates/downpayment amount, details about what might be possible or not, & stressing the importance of being sure something would be viable BEFORE running a credit check.
-having worked in a dealership, it's up to the managers, sales & finance, to be familiar with their lenders' policies & margins, so as not to waste anyone's time, or more importantly, damage anyone's credit further, as these are people trying to rebuild.
-using experian, which is well-known to be lax in updating records,& out-of-touch with current standards used by transunion & equifax, is a dead-ended,& limiting prospect, narrowing everyone's chances to put together a deal, & a baffling choice with their reputation for a business that deals with all sorts of clients regularly.

once we'd exchanged days worth of copious emails, & i was confident this was a dealership that had done its' homework, i submitted my application, & 5 minute...let me repeat that -5 minutes later i received an email saying that all lenders had turned it down.

i complained, & there ensued several emails from the owner, giving ecery excuse under the sun, explaining in a condescending way that it was everyone's fault but theirs, & never saying,"we shouldn't have run it, because all our lenders have a certain set standard & you did not meet the criteria".

i now have a credit score that has dropped 76 points, & still have yet to hear from fretz that they did not bother to correlate & apply the information i provided, so this could have been precluded. all they said was, "sorry we couldn't get financing"... besides the point, lacking in accountability or ability to move forward without these rushed & damaging experiences...

i would not ever do business with them. it's simply a matter of trust that someone will take care with the information you provide, & do their very best, even if it means forwarding the business to someone else who might be able to help, which i did often when i sold commercial vehicles. this was an unpleasant, damaging & unnecessary waste of my time, & the mark of the unprofessional dealerships that causes all the tacky jokes about car salesmen.
