I have known Keith for 15 years and bought 6 RV’s from him. Has always he was great, between Dee our sales rep, Ashley in finance, and Keith we could not had better service. We bought our first motor home instead of travel trailer and they got us the best choice of motor homes. I will recommend them to all my friends and family
Hate this company
Hate this company! Liars!!! Do not honor their promises....what lowlife cheats! Worst of the worst! A nightmare purchase! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM !!!! 🤑🤑🤨😬😬🤔
Company CANNOT be trusted- LIARS
The company sold us a non-working air conditioner and keeps claiming that it worked. It only has a working fan that blows whatever temperature is outside. Unfortunately, we bought it in Ocala on December 8, 2026 at 55 degree day- so it appeared to be working as it blew in the outside air. They REFUSE to help us. Liars and Cheaters. Do NOT buy from them.
I'll keep this short and to the point
I'll keep this short and to the point. Bought a new 2024 Holiday Rambler. General RV Michigan is just bad. Sales experience at Wixom started well, then went to hell on delivery day. Lied to about PDI, walk through was a disaster. First night in coach, had a propane leak, awning sensor kept going off every 2 minutes, blah, blah, blah....service department had the coach for 3 months and only fixed 2 out of 10 warranty issues. Had them install roof vent covers and they screwed that up, had to replace all 3 roof vents, one now leaks! Now they won't even address an NHTSA recall for a different propane issue. If we had it to do all over, we'd buy used, inspected by a certified RV Surveyor, and deal with a certified independent repair facility with a good reputation.
Beware beware I drove 12 hours…
Beware beware I drove 12 hours round-trip from Key West . to purchase a 2026 coachman, leprechaun
I showed up started doing the walk around the first thing he showed me the awning wouldn’t retract
the second thing, he tried to show me the strip lights in the back. Only one of them worked
as I’m watching him fight the awning I noticed that there was white caulking spread all over the seam at the roof at the front of the RV didn’t notice on the other side of the front above the driver
they have ran into something
they were trying to sell me a wrecked 2026 and hoping I would not notice it when I did notice it. Nobody wanted to speak to me about it. Nobody came out to say sorry
they left me and my wife in the showroom until we ended up just ended up, leaving
never has a management from anywhere contacted me to apologize or offer me any gas money or anything to reimburse me for my time
buyer beware this RV dealer is selling wrecked vehicles and they will not tell you and they hope that you just drive away with it.
If I didn’t know what I was talking about this would’ve been my RV and I would’ve drove away with it thinking I did that
we tried to get the manager‘s name or phone number or email address before we left and the girls at the front desk said that they didn’t do that
BEWARE of this RV DEALER Stay Away
☠️☠️☠️☠️
Fraudsters!!!!!
Paid a $1000 deposit in Orange Park Fl and decided to not go through with the purchase due to an uneasy feeling about them. Turned out to be correct as we were originally told our deposit would be refunded in 3-4 days. After a week I emailed to inquire about it and was told we signed a non refundable paper. We absolutely knew we did not and asked for proof. They emailed a copy of a purchase agreement we absolutely never saw or signed!!! They forged my signature as well as my wife’s! We were also told we had signed a contract with US Bank. Also a lie as we didn’t find out we were approved until we left via a call. They refused to send a copy of that. We finally received our money back only after threatening legal action. I reported this to the Florida Attorney General’s office via online. Hopefully they pursue it! Last time I checked forgery was still a crime.
I purchased a brand-new 2026 Entegra…
I purchased a brand-new 2026 Entegra Vision XL 36C for over $215,000. This was my first Class A RV, and it was supposed to be an exciting experience for my family. Instead, it has been nothing but frustration from day one.
We initially visited the Dover, Florida location late in the day after looking at another dealership. The salesperson, Alicia, was kind and professional. My son immediately liked and trusted her. The RV we wanted wasn’t available at that location, but Alicia sent us photos of one at the Jacksonville store, and we fell in love with it instantly. We agreed to purchase it and scheduled pickup in Jacksonville about a week later.
Everyone knew about the purchase and that the RV needed to be prepared for delivery. However, when we arrived in Jacksonville on December 17, 2026, the RV was sitting in the warehouse looking like it had just been quickly washed. During the walkthrough, we immediately found multiple issues:
Defect in the driver’s chair
Hot water heater not working
Defective protective film on the front cap
We were told they were waiting on parts for the water heater. After waiting three hours with no resolution, we were told to take it to Ocala since we live in Orlando and they would handle the repairs there.
On the drive home from Jacksonville, we stopped at a gas station and my wife noticed a large scratch on the driver-side window. I immediately called David, the manager overseeing the walkthrough. He told me to send pictures and assured me Ocala would fix it.
Days passed and I heard nothing from Ocala. I had to call them myself, and they had no idea what I was talking about. After several calls, I finally spoke with someone in service named Travis and scheduled an appointment.
When I brought the RV in, Travis told me they could only fix the hot water heater and protective film at that time, and that the other issues would have to go through warranty approval. I honestly do not understand why warranty approval is my problem. I bought a brand-new RV. I shouldn’t have to fight to have factory defects corrected.
The RV stayed there for two days. The hot water heater was repaired, but the protective film repair was done poorly. Instead of fixing it correctly, the technician cut into the defective area and chipped the paint. On the other side, they attempted to “match” it and caused additional damage. Now the entire front cap needs repainting.
To make matters worse, the $7,000 protective coating package they sold us had heavy overspray all over the RV. My son and I had to get on ladders and start cleaning it ourselves. While cleaning the roof and sides, we discovered multiple scratched windows on the side of the coach as well.
At this point, my frustration was through the roof. Spending over $200,000 on a brand-new RV and discovering issue after issue is unacceptable. I immediately contacted Travis again. I also informed them that I would be leaving the country mid-January and had a planned RV trip at the end of February. I made it clear I needed these issues resolved before then.
I spoke with Travis’s supervisor, who promised everything would be taken care of. However, when I called for an update, I was told the warranty company did not approve the claim — again, something that should not concern me as the customer. Now I’m being told the Jacksonville store has to handle the charges.
When I contacted Jacksonville, I eventually reached Mike, one of the store managers. Shockingly, he had no idea about any of this and said it was the first time he was hearing about these issues. Now they are having a glass company inspect the scratched windows, and we are waiting yet again.
I purchased my first Class A RV expecting quality, professionalism, and pride in the product. Instead, I have owned this RV for weeks and have not even had it at home for more than five days total due to constant service visits and unresolved defects.
Buying a new RV should be exciting — especially when you invest over $200,000. It should not feel like you are fighting the dealership at every step to correct problems that should have been addressed before delivery.
I truly hope this gets resolved quickly, and I will update this review once I receive the window estimate and final outcome. But as of now, this experience has been extremely disappointing and far from what anyone would expect when making such a significant purchase.
Delivered my 2020 Newmar Dutch Star on…
Delivered my 2020 Newmar Dutch Star on January 27th. Many calls to the service writers, from then to today 2/16/26 the coach had not been looked at. Sat in their yard for 21 days, I went to pick it up today, batteries were dead, had to jump start the coach. They lie, and complain about their lack of Techs, I wonder why. I will never do business with this company! I've had 4 class A coaches. Had my service done here when it was Independence RV the service then was perfect, honest and reliable. It WAS the best place in Florida to get service work completed. Maybe Newmar will find out and end them as a dealer. So frustrating!!! I want to add that the GM of the property came to see me, he had NO concerns about my issues, just defended he property, not one suggestion on what he may do for a frustrated customer
Worst experience with any dealer ever
Worst experience with any dealer ever. Had a deal in place with General RV in wixom michigan to have an RV shipped to us in Las Vegas. Put a deposit on a deal where terms were agreed to, dealer calls back and said they needed 5k more than the agreed terms. Nope.
Then we found another NEW Unit available in Mesa Arizona. Arranged a viewing time with dealer as we would be making a 315 mile trip just to see it. When we got there, the unit had been wrecked with extensive damage, yet no one mentioned it to us despite knowing we were driving from vegas.
General RV management is avoiding us. Absolutely horrible customer service.
Don't waste your time with these…
Don't waste your time with these people.made offer on Internet drove two hours to see a woreout unit. They say how well they check them out.this was a motorhome I asked did you change the oil in it response was they do not work on the drive line you would have to take it to a ford dealer.now isn't over half a motor home the drive line.so how well are they checked out witch by the way they charge $2000.00 dollars for what a joke then wouldn't even come close to what I offered.place is an absolute joke.
Do not buy from them
Do not buy from them! It’s a good sales experience until you get to the delivery day and then the dishonesty starts. On top of that if you’re waiting for title paper work to be sent out of state it’s a nightmare. Totally incompetent admin staff. Save your self the headache and go elsewhere.
If I could give a 0 I would
If I could give a 0 I would, the worst dealership we’ve ever come across. We bought our camper new from them and have had nothing but problem from day 1.
Now fast forward almost 3 years and we break down on the way to Florida. We’ve had 5 flats and don’t dare to travel without a spare after we sat for hours on the side of the thruway . We ended up finding a campground near General rv so we called them with our delemia and they could care less, we can’t even get them to answer whether or not they ordered us a spare with a rim after my husbands called them numerous times! Also Since we been here which is going on the 3rd day our hot water tank blew a hole so we have no water ( a whole new hot water system was put in first year) and our microwave broke. We finally found a Company Mikes mobile RV that are going to squeeze us in and get us back on the road. The camper we bought is a 2022 Crusader, looks are deceiving!!! It’s a camper built during Covid, ands not built very well! I’m waiting for someone to get seriously hurt then maybe someone will listen, I’ve certainly complained enough to manufacturer and General RV!
I took my 2024 41’ holiday rambler to…
I took my 2024 41’ holiday rambler to from Long Island NY to the west Chester PA locationfor a warranty issue obviously a very long expensive drive for warranty issues.
To begin with they had to order parts which made the unit sit there for about one month and being at the weather started getting colder. It was a decision to winterize it. They charge me almost $900 to winterize my unit that sat there because of the issues from the manufacturer, they made me pay this which was an absolute rip off no discount no mercy I will never ever buy a unit from General Rv. It was a horrible experience when I bought it they lied through their teeth about any warranty issues I could do it locally, which was not the case. I had to bring it all over the country and they could care less never again and they actually lost customers because I had two good friends go to other retailers to buy class a units. Take my advice stay away from General Rv.
From the beginning they rush you
From the beginning they rush you - lie to you and try and cheat you. I am currently trying and have been for weeks to get them to fix small problems on my new RV and the negative experience has soured my belief in people. Most of the crew at this location are liars and misleading any and everybody. We continue to try and get the help we need but i am in a position to move this up a notch - this is downright fraud. Do not deal with these people - go to another state if you have to. i can tell you lots - just ask. I worked hard to be able to make this purchase - just to be cheated. We have even made several attempts to get in touch with the General Manager of this location - recorder messages of him getting our messages and still no reply from even him. That should tell you it all - Boy could I go on and on about how corrupt these people are. STAY AWAY FROM THEM AT ALL COSTS.
Service is the worse
Service is the worse. Service advisors last maybe a month . Lies and repeated misinformation on service repairs. I will never recommend Ocala General RV. They are very good at misinformation and treating their customers like they are stupid. If I knew that this location has some of the worse repair reviews I would had never NEVER bought there!
No deposit refund.
Gave $2000 deposit. Had to rescind the deal four days later due to unexpected personal reasons. They refused to refund the deposit after salesman said on two occasions….”I have never seen General RV keep a deposit, it’s not how we do business”. Sadly I live close to their Wixom facility. I intend to buy a Class C in the spring. They have the best inventory. But I will go elsewhere.

Just purchased a Class C RV from General RV! Rick Baker was absolutely amazing, knowledgeable, patient and understanding! He really knows how to meet your needs. Steven in financing was so professional, helpful, smart & really made our experience simple. He knows financing like no other!!
Shady Service
Needed warranty work done. Took my travel trailer camper in early December 2024. Had a list of things needed to get done and were approved by Jayco to get done. Only one thing had actually been finished by the time I needed it in late January. Things that were on the list of repairs were checked off as “done,” but were never touched or not fixed to the point it was actually functional. I took my camper back for work (travel full time), planning to return for the awning and sink repair because the replacements hadn’t come in. I also asked my original service dpt case worker to have them actually fix what they didn’t when I returned as well. I could not return until September. I kept calling throughout the year to make sure everything was set for my return. I talked to two new service case workers during that time, indicating a high turnover rate at the dealership. I made sure the sink and awning were delivered and waiting by the time I returned.
I dropped my camper off for the final repairs in mid-September. My 4th case worker wasn’t there to check me in. I asked about one of the repairs that wasn’t fixed (my fridge door would not close properly and fell completely off when driving). Was told I could just fix it myself even though it was on the original list I needed repaired. I decided to just get the awning and sink done so I could be over with this whole experience. I was called a few days later to be told my awning “got legs and walked away” and unless I wanted to wait for a new one, I would have to settle for a black awning. I agreed to the black because I could not wait for a new awning due to needing the camper for work in a week.
After the awning and sink were fixed (the other things that had been checked off but not fixed were never fully repaired) I inspected the repairs and they worked fine. I took the camper back to park it for 5 days before moving it 30 min to my next job. After about 2 weeks at work, I went to use my stove to cook. I found my burners disassembled and missing all their screws. The stovetop had been perfectly fine before I took it in for the repairs in September. I had not looked at the stove under the glass lid during the final inspection before signing the release forms because it never should have been touched. I did not touch it at all between the repair and going to cook. No one else has a key to my camper and it had no signs of being broken in to. The only explanation is someone at the dealership took apart the burners for some reason. The screws are no where to be found. In the 3 years I had the camper, the burners never came apart while driving. I explained to my case worker what happened but she and her manager decided not to take any responsibility for it. So I now have to repair the stovetop they took apart out of my own pocket. Given the poor customer service I had always received, I do not doubt a service technician either didn't know what they were doing, took the screws for another camper’s repair, didn’t finish putting the stovetop back together for some reason, or there was miscommunication about what needed to be repaired. I’m not sure the occurrence was even investigated like I requested them to do. So between the terrible communication between case workers, shady technicians using my original awning for another project and touching something that shouldn't have been touched, and the incomplete repairs I asked to be repaired again and again, I will never be returning to this dealership. I recommend nobody use them as well, especially for repairs. I have warned my RV working community as well. Save yourself the headache and frustration.
I agree with all one star reviews
I agree with all one star reviews. It should not have to wait 7 hours to winterize.
CEO of General RV doesn't even respond
This is the complaint I sent to the CEO
I'm trying to seek assistance in a problem I am having with a RV that my husband and I have purchased at the Hershey RV show 9/11/25. Rather than type everything out I will attach a screenshot of my earlier complaint and go from there.
After reading my complaint I thought everything was resolved. My 6 week wait for my RV suddenly showed up the next day. We were told that we need to finish our paperwork and look over our camper, then have our camper delivered and our trade in picked up on 10/6.
Now here we go it's the weekend and my husband is informed they're not delivering our camper on Monday we're just signing papers. I'm not sure what type of business runs like this, but it seems as though no one knows what's going on in this company. I have been in sales for 30 years and never once have I thought about lying to a customer. I would much rather been told upfront what to expect, then told anything and promised everything to get a sale.
I have been very frustrated with this entire process, We have now taken off twice from work. Depending on how Monday goes, I maybe leaving a Google review as well for the Elizabethtown store. As of today's post the canceled our delivery for tomorrow due to a driver quitting.
Not impressed with anyone in this process.
There was a previous complaint I attached to this letter. If I could give them a zero I would. They could make it right they just don't.
