Gainrep Opiniões

I run music gigs.

I received an email from Gainrep out of the blue asking me to "endorse" a particular musician. I had no idea what this was supposed to mean. I ignored it.

Then I received another email asking me to endorse the same musician.

There was a great big box to click on to "endorse", and a tiny little link to click on to "unsubscribe".

I have never subscribed to Gainrep and had never even heard of them before this. So I have had to unsubscribe from something I never subscribed to in the first place.

I strongly object to receiving this kind of unsolicited email, which is an invasion of privacy, a waste of my time and basically spam.

This is an honest platform that supports what one knows is true.

Never heard of this app, found it difficult to navigate without giving up all my contacts.

Very easy to work with.

No This is Hack Job, I did not approve or authorize them stealing my contacts then sending wire transfer request to my bank or spoofing my emails. Stay Away Report as a scam and delete anything from this.

Hello,

Gainrep is a platform designed to simplify the process of obtaining professional endorsements. Our users can request endorsements from their contacts, including via email.
* I clicked on link to endorse, and it asked for my email Name and Such, It is not as simple as giving someone a review, Gain Rep Hi Jacks your contacts and spoofs emails
However, simply signing up does not automatically trigger any endorsement requests.

What the evidence shows
1. Gainrep steals your Google contacts
A cyber‑threat analyst documented that Gainrep immediately pulls your Google contacts after login and uses them to send messages.

2. It sends emails that look like they came from you
Reports describe Gainrep sending unsolicited emails to your contacts “on your behalf,” which is exactly how spoofing scams operate.

3. This is consistent with email spoofing behavior
Spoofing = forging the “From” field so an email appears to come from your address even though the sender never logged into your account.

4. Victims report being tricked into signing up
People describe receiving fake invitations from “friends,” signing up, and then having Gainrep message their entire contact list.

To send requests, users must take several deliberate steps: provide explicit consent THIS IS TRICK PART 1 , check the box labeled “I confirm and authorize Gainrep YOU THINK YOU ARE CONSENTING FOR GAINREP TO SEND YOU EMAILS AND SO YOU CAN ENDORSE A CONTACT NOT TO send invitations to my contacts on my behalf,” and then click the appropriate button to proceed. THERE IS NO SUCH BUTTON
If you haven’t completed these steps and still noticed invitations being sent, please let us know so we can investigate further. If you’ve accidentally invited your contacts, you can stop any future invitations by visiting the My Network page. PROBABLY ANOTHER TRICK GOING TO YOUR PAGE!

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. HAD TO CANCELL CREDIT CARDS AND DISPUTE A CHARGE SINCE YOUR HACK!

Amazing service! They make you feel very comfortable, very professional, I recommend it 100%.

Contact Hijacking: Once you sign in with Google or a third-party account, it automatically accesses your contact list and sends mass requests "on your behalf" without your explicit knowledge.
Phishing & Spam: Your contacts are targeted with fake endorsement or professional networking requests.

The things that made my experience great are about working apart from my enthusiasm for my career profession, and with creativity and innovation.

a great way to connect and explore opportunities

⭐ (1 star) — Unauthorized emails sent to my entire contact list without consent
I never authorized Gainrep to contact my business contacts. Without my permission, a company representative used or obtained my contact list and sent unsolicited emails to those individuals on the company's behalf. This is a serious breach of trust and privacy. I have filed complaints with the FTC and my state Attorney General. I would strongly caution any business from sharing contact data or granting this company access to their accounts. Proceed with extreme caution.
