ordered 4 items on off website been intouch four times and about 8 emails cant get one item supposed to be refunded no refund yet 3/5 working days for the figure they say that they have posted the rest off it yesterday on tracked 48 royalmail and it states its at the midlands post office im disgusted with them, and soon as my other order arrives ill not be ordering anything else ever from them. poor company they take your money and if you want to cancel order they wont let you because its processing,but its processing from when you put order in so you have got no chance at all,when you put order in all instock then the big companys get first stock i ordered at 10.00 oclock, and still they say they cant get hold of the figures stock or no stock they want to think about the smaller customers who helped them through the covid by ordering keeping them going dissapointed all together. had to phone again for them to sort refund what was supposed to be done four working days ago and nothing sorted again very poor service

Køb ikke White Dwarf abonnement

Gav min søn et 1 års abonnement på White Dwarf i fødselsdagsgave i juli. Første udgave skulle være august, men den kom aldrig og blev krediteret. Men siden har han kun modtaget 4 blade og vi har aldrig fået et normalt. Hver gang skulle jeg skrive at det ikke var kommet. Vi har nu ventet siden december på det nummer, og på trods adskillge henvendelser har jeg ikke modtaget det. Dog fik jeg en opkrævning på 173 kr. fra PostNord for told og gebyr. Min søn var ellers glad for bladet og for warhammer, men gode oplevelser bliver slettet af dårlige.

Extremely poor service.

Same as alot of other reviews honestly.
Preorder doesn't ship on time, and can't be cancelled.
I write customer support who takes ages to answer, only to get told they can't cancel it due to their system setup, and no other options given.

I won't be shopping from them again. First and last time.

Nun jetzt schon seid 1 Jahr Probleme!

Nun jetzt schon seid 1 Jahr heftigste Lieferproblem. Ich warte bereist seid Monaten auf bestellte Ware. Auch mein Lokaler Händler bekommt nichts mehr. Der Kunde Support und auch gegenüber den deutschen Partnern ist absolut unterirdisch und auch nicht mehr zu vertreten.

Terrible new webstore, awful shipping times

The new webstore is an absolute nightmare to navigate. There was nothing wrong with the old one, they just decided to redesign and broke it. ever heard of if it aint broke don't fix it?

Also the shipping is getting ridiculous. Used to be a week which was slow but now, when ordering items that are fully in stock. It's telling me 12 days is the standard. In this day and age there is no excuse for this, especially when most independant stores can get it to you next day or the day after. Why is a multi-million £ company being outperformed by independants? But of course some items are exclusive to the webstore so you have to get it from GW directly.

It's an absolute shambles is what it is, and the corporate bigwigs should be ashamed.

i am so annoyed right now as i per-ordered hasnt even shipped while every store already has it and for what reason i dont know it might have been because i added some more models but then they should tell me it will take more time

Ordered my copy Old World Warhammer on…

Ordered my copy Old World Warhammer on Pre-order day the 6th of Jan, queued for an hour got on the store order my tomb kings and waited for release day 20th of January and my order update.

No update still processing 31st of Jan, customer service online and via phone are for lack of better words a joke, reading from a script, automated BOT like answers to your questions and clearly can only see what you can see when you log into your My Warhammer account your order is Processing....

Well that's genuinely the least helpful response I need from a customer service representative.
I can see it is processing still that's why I called so you could tell me where in the process is it?

All I know is my money has been earning them interest since the 6th of Jan and the share holders are going to receive a nice fat bonus on their shares thanks to low cost computerised order distribution that doesn't work properly and atrocious customer service.

I won't be buying direct again and will take my money to the smaller independents that offer discount on GW products I am not dealing direct with GW ever again.

Maybe my Tomb Kings army boxset will be exhumed from the ground at the Segro logistics park in 2 - 3,ooo years time by a team of archaeologists and maybe they will finally discover what happened to my order.

Absolut schlechter Support

Absolut schlechter Support - angeblich soll man innerhalb 5 Tagen eine Antwort bekommen. Es wird nur vergessen in welchem Jahr die kommen soll. Deutsche Telefonhotline Fehlanzeige - nach etlichen deutschen Bandansagen geht jemand in englisch dran. Bei der Frage nach meiner Bestellung erhalte ich die Antwort - Wird gerade zusammen gestellt. - Ist jetzt 3 Wochen her. Preorder nie wieder.

Complete joke

Complete joke, pre-ordered old world and its now over a week since release and I still haven't even had a dispatch email. Support when they bother to reply is useless and can't tell you anything. Wont be ordering direct again that's for sure.

They will take your money, not despatch on time and not let you cancel

I have brought from GW direct on numerous occasions without issue. For the Old World Pre Orders they have failed to despatch my order a week after the release date. The real kicker is that they won't let you cancel the order! They tell me their 'system' doesn't allow them to cancel an order once its started.

I can't understand a company that takes your money, fails to despatch products on time and then refuses to return your money. Do yourself a favour and get your models from an independent stockist.

Pre-orders Delayed

Pre-orders for The Old World with two weeks prior notice on store collection "were delayed" and won't be available for a week.

You pay more on the official on the assumption they will honour their own release dates.

Why would you ever buy from the official site if it's as delayed as they force on their independent stockists?

I wish I had read these reviews before I purchased. Xmas gifts ordered on Dec 3rd 2023. There is still no sign of the parcel. The tracking info has not been updated since January 2nd. I have sent several emails to the company & the issue remains unsolved & I'm not sure they even care. So no, I cannot recommend this company nor would I ever purchase from them again.

Webstore ist grottig

Angebliche 48 Minuten Wartezeit zum Webstore. Nach 2 1/2 h noch immer nicht weitergeleitet. Die „letzte Minute Wartezeit“ dauert nun auch schon über 15 min. Das ist eine Frechheit. Und wahrscheinlich ist eh alles, was mich interessiert schon wieder ausverkauft, so wie die letzten Wochen. Die Website ist echt grottig.

Once again Games Workshop has been a…

Once again Games Workshop has been a major letdown.

Today, 13-01-2024, The End and the Death vol. III Limited Edition went on pre order. The "new and "improved"" website had the queue turned on, however, their security is so shoddy, that all it took the scalpers to bypass the queue, was a simple user agent switcher, to pose as a search engine.

Book was sold out at 9.56, after going live at 9.55, the bots had free reign on the site as the vast majority was sat in the queue like the law abiding citizens they are. Usually the queue lets a limited edition last at least 20-25 minutes, today it was incredibly obvious that scalpers had spotted the glaring hole in security.

I'm so close to giving up on this hobby, their crappy stance towards their fans keeps getting worse.

GW lost it's soul

GW is a publicly traded company and cares little for the customer experience.

Their website is a crapshoot with a queue system that doesn't keep your place and WILL increase your time spent in the queue ensuring you cannot pre-order any limited edition items.

They hardly ever have any stock in, with new systems/models being out of stock for weeks/months after release (check out Legions Imperialis).

I honestly don't recognise this company anymore. It's only concern now is profits, CEO wage increases and paying shareholders.

almost all models in the lord of the rings game is temporarly out of stock, and they can't tell if and when it is coming back. Hard to start an army, when you can't buy it. There delivery is also very long when you order from the webside

Unreliable and very poor customer service

Ordered twice from them now with items showing as being in stock on the GW website only to be told 2 weeks later after taking and holding my money that orders not able to be fulfilled and as such cancelled and refunded. No gesture of goodwill offered despite complaining to customer services. Will buy elsewhere in future. Awful organisation.
