In Feb 2022 was looking for GAP insurance for new Volvo. Google search brought up many companies with big marketing budgets, but checking Trustpilot and other reviews put me off.

I came across GAPinsurance.co.uk, saw that they were not too far from me and phoned them. It was so refreshing to actually speak to someone in the UK, that listened and understood what I wanted and came up with a competitive quote, so I took GAP with them. Fast forward to Nov 22, selling the car and no longer require GAP. Phoned and again great service, told that I would get a pro rata refund that I would receive in a few days, but it was actually in my account the following day.
I highly recommend this business and have no connection other than being a satisfied customer.

Phoned for advice on gap cover after not taking it and was helped by David Burns-Keane. Unfortunately I couldn’t use this company but David explained everything in so much detail and helped me attempt to find cover elsewhere.
Not very often you get someone who is as helpful as this man at this company. Thank you!

Just taken out a policy with this company and the staff are 5 star helpful, I would suggest any body taking out a policy to call them with your vehicle invoice and go through it with them as the dealership put on extra costs you cant claim for (eg) paint protection etc. they are very helpful and tell you your exact amount you can claim for

Just taken out gap insurance with this company. Had a very detailed chat with Tim who knows his stuff and subsequently gave me the confidence to go ahead. Sometimes you just get that feeling you are dealing with a nice company.

Excellent customer service. Originally took gap insurance in June and that was simple and efficient. Had to make changes recently and rang them. Couldn’t believe how helpful the agent was and an added bonus was that the company deal in a very fair manner and so I got a refund rather than having to pay an additional premium as you would normally do with lots of other companies. This company is always clear, precise and polite with any request I may have. In this day and age not being able to see people face to face, I feel it is important you give the customer the feeling of confidence and efficiency over the phone, and that's exactly how I feel every time I'm I deal with them. I would recommend them to anyone, not just because they're miles cheaper than the garage your buying your car from.

I got the quote online and then rang GAP to speak to someone directly. They gave me good advise and the cover i needed, i will definitely be recommending their service to family and friends.

Have just bought new car, and was warned that buying gap insurance from dealer might not be best. Having looked around found Gapinsurance.co.uk. Very impressed by website. Asked for callback, Tim called within minutes and talked me through all the details. Very pleased with 4 year replacement cover quote. All done to my satisfaction.

Website was informative with pop up banner advising if you wanted a call back! which I personally did not require but I liked the offer! product was as described and I felt confident in what I was buying especially as it was my first car, it represented excellent value for money ( I opted to pay one off payment so it was out of the way) once I purchased the product the documents were all ready and waiting on my portal and were easy to download which I appreciated! I have not yet had any interaction with customer services but judging by previous reviews I feel confident that I would be able to speak to them with ease and my query should I have one be dealt with quickly! I would definitely recommend to a friend for not only the value but the clear information and ease of use on the website!

Unfortunately had to make a claim, service was excellent, payment was quick and never any sense of 'trying to get out of paying'.
