Great product. Unbeatable prices

Purchased their Terrell Schley Modern Glam 5 Foot Short Faux Fur Bean Bag (le Pouf).. I really took my time with this purchase and did a TON of research to find the best giant bean bag at the best price. Wayfair and Overstock sell the same bag for more $$. GDF Studio came in at the top of my research AND exceeded my expectations. The product arrived faster than expected by about 1-2 weeks. It was pretty easy to assemble with clear instructions provided. I heard people complain about the cover zipper not functioning— by design, the zipper doesn’t have the “pull” part, you’re supposed to use a paper clip or hook to zip it shut. I think this protects the product from accidentally coming unzipped when you’re using it or while moving it around. It makes sense. The fur cover is a really nice quality and looks great, not cheap or shaggy looking.. which I was worried about. The lines also give it an extra touch of class and dimension. The bag is HUGE. My bf is over 6ft, 220lbs and fits comfortably on it. I even fit on their with him. Amazing price for such a massive and high quality product. I figured where I’d be compromising is shipping time, and was okay with that- but that even exceeded the expectation. Waited about 2 weeks total from time of purchase and had expected 4 weeks with possible delays (but nope!). I highly recommend GDF studio for quality furniture at a great price.

A+ Company

I don't normally rate a merchant, but I am so impressed with GDF Studio that I want to share my experience. I purchased a faux leather storage bench from them a couple of weeks ago and it actually arrived several days early. I was psyched when I first opened the box and took out the bench. The color was beautiful and it seemed well constructed. However, after I screwed in the legs I happened to notice that there was a pucker in the front on the edge of the lid. It was a factory defect and pretty noticeable. As I did a Google search on the company, I came across this web site. After reading all of the negative reviews, I assumed that I would not get a response from the company so instead, I left a 1-star review of the bench on the GDF web site. Well, I was pleasantly surprised when the company - a woman named Sabrina - reached out to me via email. She asked to see pictures of the defect, which I furnished. She promptly responded and said that they would be sending FedEx to pick it up in a couple of days and to contact her with the return receipt number once I had it. I emailed her the number once I had it and the very next day, I received a refund to my PayPal account. I will say that this was the most seamless return and refund that I have likely ever experienced. I am so impressed that it was the company who reached out to ME and not the other way around. I would not hesitate to do business with this company in the future. I didn't want to push my luck and reorder the same bench, but I will definitely be looking at their site for another purchase after the holidays. The only thing that I didn't like was that they removed my 1-star review from their site before the whole process was completed. I suppose that it is not such a biggie, as I intended to do that myself once the refunded was issued. So, based on my overall experience, I would give a 5-star rating to GDF Studio.

Ordered my item on the 13 they claimed…

Ordered my item on the 13 they claimed it shipped on the 17 never received it. I call fedex they claim it was never shipped out horrible place to order from customer service rep tell something different every time. You mean to tell me you print out a shipping label and you don’t have the authority to check and find out y after two weeks the item didn’t ship ....Horrible Place will never order from them again I’ll try ultimate sak

Order via Amazon instead!

I just wanted to say that I ordered a fireside chair *BUT VIA AMAZON*. I was told a 7-10 delivery window and was shocked when it was delivered in 36 hours!.

So, the moral is, if you like their stuff - order it via Amazon! :-)

Not real upfront....AUSTRALIAN DROP SHIPPER Months to get item...

Placed an order on 8/15/20. 8/26 received an email the order had been "PROCESSED". Followed the link to a shipping company from AUSTRALIA that says the number entered is not in their system. From them it us supposed to get passed to fedex after a VERY SLOW BOAT. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DROP SHIPPER. No where on the page did it explain the shipping time - hell according to their email it took 10 days to ship it.,...The thing Australian post does not have... And of course the old CAN"T REFUND as item is in shipping status.

Fraudulent company do not order

If I could give it minus stars I would. I ordered from the online shop. Its been over a month. They sent me a tracking. When the tracking showed delivered and nothing showed up, I contacted them and they mentioned that it was by error. Its been 3 weeks and they keep saying, " As an official courier partner with FedEx, we actually load the trucks ourselves and FedEx picks them up. FedEx is currently not providing us with enough trucks to fulfill the tens of thousands of orders we receive on a weekly basis "
I checked with Fedex and they clearly said that is was incorrect and that they are picking up deliveries from the same zip. They are totally lying and seems like one of those fraudulent companies. They do respond on facebook but have no number to call. I realize that this has been done to other customers too. I regret not reading the reviewsand placing an order before that.

Happy customer, but...

I bought a egg swing chair without a stand and could not be happier with the product. It is what it was described on the web sight. Very simple assembly. That being said, I had to download an app to figure out the shipping info that wasnt fully disclosed. It took over 3 weeks to get it and the tracking map had it going between California and Canada before it got to me. So that was a little concerning. Overall I'm very happy with the swing and the price.

This company sucks!

This company has done to me as it has done to everyone else. They take my money, send me a tracking number but then don't ship my product. I attempted to contact them with no response. I would not order from this place if I were you. If or when I ever do get my product and I need to return it I know I will be screwed because they will not respond. Lesson learned.

I made purchase of sofa set on GDF…

I made purchase of sofa set on GDF about 3 weeks ago. They still have not sent me the purchase yet. I contacted them many many times, and finally they replied the shipping label is created 13 days ago and waiting on Fedex to pick up. I contacted Fedex for pick up update, and was told GDF never inform them to pick up. I have no ideal why this GDF is doing so, but their irresponsibility is troubling me and made this purchase a unpleasant experience. I will never buy from them.

Cheesy product - no repsonse on return

I have been trying to return the second set of patio chairs I ordered because the first set (which I unboxed and assembled) were so cheesy. - the screws did not align properly. No response to 2 emails.

Bait and Switch

I purchased a patio set from this company and they told me it would ship in two weeks. I found these reviews on this website and went to their HQ- Christopher Knight Home, and they told me the order is delayed 6 months due to out of stock issue. No refund. No response. Item is still shown as in stock on GDF Studio website, they are lying and practicing bad business.

Delayed shipping but great price

I ordered a chaise lounge recently from this company because it was over $100 dollars cheaper than anywhere else online. I was given a tracking number quickly however the item was not actually sent until about a week later. All in all, I will wait a week for shipping to save $100 bucks. If you're having an issue getting in contact with them, message them on facebook, the respond right away. Good Luck!

SCAMMERS

Ordered a table to get here in time for my wife's birthday. This was one of the few places that promised delivery before then.

They generated a tracking number, but I've seen this trick before. Contacted the company and the table is out of stock and still needs to be manufactured. Estimated wait time 2-3 months.

This place should be out of business. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE SCAMMERS.

Delivered right when they said it would

I am shocked to hear of the bad reviews here and I must admit it made me second guess the order I had placed. But we were delightfully surprised! We ordered an outdoor side table. On their website, they disclose that they have a 10 day shipping delay due to COVID19. No problem. My order was shipped promptly about 10 days after I placed the order. Item came nicely packed and was delivered 1 day after I received the tracking number. Very pleased!

Nightmare company! They never shipped item, false tracking number!

Ordered a Credenza and it’s been over a month and never received it. I got a fake tracking number and customer service won’t respond via email or phone.
Don’t use this company. Will now dispute with my credit card company. Nightmare!

PLEASE DONT ORDER

I was reluctant to write a review hoping something is gonna change. But now I believe this is a fair and accurate review.

First of all I caution any one intending to order from gdf studio, not to do it. I ordered a gazebo on 6/18/20 from gdf but up to now don’t even have a confirmation number. My card was charged and due for repayment soon though. I have emailed gdf twice to get information on my order but have not received any response. The call center is nonexistant so don’t even try it. Am afraid if I ever get my order it will be after the intended summer. And can’t even find a way to cancel so I can order somewhere else.

BE AWARE BEFORE YOU ORDER!!!

ZERO STARS

ZERO STARS! Like others on here I placed an order for a recliner on 6/16/20 and received one notice from Fedex that still says pending. They already charged my account and now after reading these reviews, I’m guessing I’ll never get the chair. No responses to any of my emails.

Their customer service is non-existent

Their customer service is non-existent. I emailed to check the status, with no response. I tried contacting them via phone, was on hold for over 30 minutes, only to get disconnected (or hung up on). To date, they have not responded to any of my email inquiries. They did send on notification (FedEx Label), but according to FedEx only the label was generated by Shipper, but they have not received it from the Shipper to begin shipping. Extremely frustrating, they've charged my card (I spent over $1K), and I have never dealt with a Company who completely "ghosts" their customers. It has been almost 3 weeks... with no furniture, estimated date of delivery and the product is now showing sold out .... so who knows if I will receive it. Definitely do not order from this Company, even with COVID there is no excuse after weeks of trying.... I've never dealt with a Company as such with poor service, no service literally.... I've reported them to the BBB.
