When they arrived I thought they looked pretty thin and didn’t think they would make a difference but i was wrong they made a huge difference making my hair so much thicker looking and they’re so flat to your head so they’re invisible. I was impressed

Zero customer service support

I was debating between ordering my new set of extensions from Gee or another similar company and stupidly went for Gee. Their customer service team is non existent so if you do purchase from them, hope that nothing goes wrong with your order.

I am missing the swatch from my order so have no way of testing the colour shade to my hair - I have contacted Gee on all platforms they suggest on their website; WhatsApp, Instagram and email. I’ve only had responses from WhatsApp and Instagram direct just telling me to email them - it would have been quicker just to send me a new colour swatch! So instead I am still waiting for a response, no doubt they will respond to this review with their usual “we are a small team, trading for 10 years” - then do better Gee! Otherwise you won’t build you customer base any further. I now am so nervous about using this company , I just want a refund as they seem a bit scammy. I have again emailed them for a prepaid label as I shouldn’t have to pay for the return on an item they missed the swatch out off meaning I can’t test the hair… surprise surprise, no response.

*update - they finally emailed me back and the same as other reviews, no apology just really patronising and accused me of lying about when I contacted them. A simple sorry would have gone so far but they make you feel like an idiot. They have now also tried to get my review removed because I named other brands that people should order from. I have removed the name of the brands but my point still stands so resubmitting the review as they can’t just get away with removing bad reviews! A shame because the product is good but their customer service is poor

** in response to below reply from Gee - you’re stating dates from emails - I had contacted you multiple times on WhatsApp and Instagram with terrible response times only to be told you only reply to emails which isn’t stated on your customer service contact section on your website. There was no instructions packaged either explaining there was no swatch available.

To clarify for transparency, you first contacted us regarding a missing colour swatch on 7 December, and our team responded on 10 December, which was within our advised response timeframe during a busy promotional period.

When colour swatches are temporarily unavailable, orders are packaged with alternative instructions that allow customers to check the shade safely without opening or compromising the hair. These instructions are provided on a sticker attached to the storage bag, and our team explained this clearly in our reply.

We’re pleased to hear you felt the product itself was good, and we regret that your experience with our support team didn’t reflect that same standard. We’re always reviewing feedback to improve how we communicate and support our customers moving forward.

Amazing Customer Service- I…

Amazing Customer Service- I accidentally wrote the wrong email address on my order which was quickly rectified via a message on WhatsApp. I then didn’t realise you need a signature when receiving next day delivery , again on WhatsApp I got a quick response where they kindly and promptly changed my address to my work address . Super excited to receive them tomorrow.

DO NOT BUY - HORRIBLE QUALITY

Ordered a multiway weft and wore them daily for around 2-3 weeks, and I heat styled them around 5 times. After around 3 weeks, the quality was horrendous. Straggly / rat tail ends, knotting / matting together, look and feel dry, had to keep brushing them constantly so that they’d look ok. They were just horrible.

I emailed them to complain and they were so patronising and unhelpful. In the end, I settled on trying again with 25% off, as I decided that I wouldn’t heat style the next set. So, I got a new set and only used heatless curlers, and followed the aftercare to a T. After 6ish weeks, they’ve still gone to absolute shit. Again, dry, straggly, matting etc. Omg they are just AWFUL.

I’ve worn hair extensions daily for around 10 years and never have they gone bad this quickly, especially with NO HEAT?!

I’m in absolute shock and so angry as how much money I have wasted.

Oh also, they delete / don’t publish negative reviews on their website, hence I’ve come onto here.

We’ve been in direct contact with you via email to better understand what happened. From those conversations, it was confirmed that your extensions were worn daily. Our guidance around longevity and aftercare is based on wearing extensions up to two days per week. With daily wear, the hair naturally experiences significantly more friction and moisture loss, which shortens its lifespan and requires increased, more frequent hydration to maintain softness and reduce tangling.

We understand that you reduced heat styling with your second set, which is always beneficial. However, even without heat, consistent daily wear places much higher demands on the hair, and this was explained in detail alongside tailored aftercare advice to support you as best as possible.

We also offered the option to return the extensions to us so our Quality Assurance team could assess them in person. This step is important so we can fairly determine whether any manufacturing issues are present and advise on next steps.

We’re sorry that your experience felt unhelpful or frustrating, as that’s never our intention. Our aim is always to be transparent, supportive, and to resolve concerns as fairly as possible.

Great quality extensions

I have tried lots of brands of extensions and these are the best I've had! The shade matches my hair exactly and they are really soft and curl well. I would consider the product itself 5 stars, but I only gave 4 stars because you have to pay postage for returns, which is hard because I ordered multiple colours so I could choose the best match and ended up having to pay to post the extras back. PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!! I ordered three sets of hair as I was unsure what colour I needed. One set arrived and inside the package there was a note to state they had ran out of the colour swatch for this shade but a hygiene clip had been placed to the hair so I was able to open and check the colour and still return for a refund if needed as long as the clip stayed in place. I did this as advised and received an email to say they would not be refunding my money as the item had been opened AS THEY STATED for me to do and the swatch was missing THAT WAS NEVER PROVIDED. I even left the slip in the return package stating this to avoid any confusion. The customer service is terrible and they don’t seem to want to help or offer any guidance at all!! I’m now stuck with no item and £50 out of pocket! ❌❌❌

Really wish I’d taken heed of the poor reviews before I ordered and wasted my money ☹️ They say they accept returns so when the colour didn’t match I confidently sent back. They refused to refund saying the seal had been tampered with 🤦‍♀️ The only proof they could send was two photos of clearly different items! No broken or damaged seal, of course. Clearly they have zero morals and just after your 💷 Beware!

We can’t refund hair extensions once the hygiene seal/tag has been removed or tampered with, as the product can’t be verified as hygienic for resale.

In your case, the hygiene tag was tampered with on return and the packaging/contents condition did not match how the order left us. We photograph every order before dispatch and shared the time-stamped images showing the condition when shipped versus when received back. On that basis, a refund could not be issued.

If you’re unsure before opening, we offer samples so you can assess the hair first.

Genuinely impressed by Gee’s quality

After years of using clip-in extensions and trying top brands from Australia, the US, and the UK, I’ve just received my order from Gee and I’m genuinely shocked.

1. Outstanding quality. I ordered Gold Blonde and you can tell it is 100% Remy, perfectly processed, and with unusually thick ends.

2. More clips per weft. This design allows better grip and healthier weight distribution.

3. Innovation. Their hanger and minimalist packaging are the best I’ve seen. Elegant in every detail.

4. Customer support. Quick and efficient when I had a tracking issue.

5. Patents and exclusive colors. Having patented ideas and offering natural shades reflects the passion and care behind Gee’s work. This is the first brand I’ve tried that offers blondes that actually look and blend naturally.

I love supporting brands that truly care about excellence. Gee deserves all the success and I’ll definitely be ordering more!

Worst hair and customer service ever

Worst purchasing and customer service experience of my life.

Avoid Gee at all costs; the hair is thin, straggly; ragged at the ends and you’d need £400-800 worth to create the looks they advertise on social media and even their own website.

I bought £273 worth of hair; face framers x 2, and 3 x volumisers via the ‘create your own set’ page on their website.

The colour swatches matched perfectly so I made the mistake of opening the bag; they lock the bag with cable ties and so you cannot see how bad the hair is until you open it; at which point Gee state the hair is categorically not refundable.

It is a scam. Their images show vastly thicker looking hair than what you receive. Honestly I could have cried. I’d have needed to buy at least 3 times that amount to create what is shown online.

Note I’ve used Cliphair, Amazon, Foxy Locks, Beauty Works and Milk and Blush hair for over a decade and they are all vastly better than Gee.

Gee customer service was exceptionally patronising and passive aggressive.

The only solution offered was to return the hair for an internal inspection (hmm, I wonder how impartial that would be..) and IF found faulty I could have a replacement only.

If not deemed faulty I’d have to pay for them to send it back to me.

But the issue was that I wanted a total refund because I’d never wear such bad quality hair and a replacement was of no use to me; for £272 I could get a lovely set from any of the competing brands and twice as much nice thick hair rather than the straggly pathetic strands sent to me.

I contested it with my credit provider but Gee informed me (rather boastfully) that I wouldn’t succeed in my case because as long as they offered a replacement as an option they would win.

Gee also had the cheek to say that I’d ordered 2 ‘non matching shades’. My shade choices matched my hair and I didn’t appreciate them commenting on my choice of colours, very unprofessional and completely irrelevant?

They also said the photos I’d sent them of the bad hair were deliberately placed in a way that made them look bad (!) so asked me to brush them out and lay them facing upward. I did exactly that, brushed them smooth and laid them on the bed next to a brush to show how ragged the ends were but apparently these new photos ALSO were taken to ‘make them look a certain way’ which is laughable as that is how they really looked and I did brush them smooth and flat and neat as possible!

So- bottom line is, dont open the packet if you don’t want to be disappointed and left with no option of a refund.

I have never written such a disparaging review but honestly felt robbed (and patronised!)

Once the hygiene seal is removed from the extensions, we’re unable to accept returns for a refund, because we can’t verify storage conditions or guarantee the product can be resold in a hygienic condition.

That said, when a customer believes an item is faulty or not as described, we do take it very seriously. Our process is to ask for the extensions back for inspection against our master reference samples (the same specifications and samples shown on the product pages). If anything is found to be below spec, we replace it promptly.

In this case, we offered inspection and replacement, but you declined and chose to proceed via your payment provider for a full refund instead. That dispute was closed in our favour and did not result in a refund.

If you choose not to return the items for inspection, we’re not able to assess or resolve the issue. If you’re still open to our assistance, we remain happy to review the extensions.

Amazing quality!
First time I ever tried hair extensions and they are amazing! The quality of the hair is just superb and the clips are so well made that it’s really easy to put them on. They don’t pull your natural hair and they just blend so well. The Volumizer just gives me that extra thickness and volume that I have always wanted and still looking very natural. The Face Framers I have tried are the perfect size and not heavy at all. They all come in lovely zipped pouches with a handy extension hanger to keep them nice and tidy after use. I am super satisfied with my purchase and I would buy it again

Being perimenopausal

Being perimenopausal, my hair has thinned dramatically over the past few years. This has caused me to lose confidence, as my hair was always my crowning glory. Since discovering Gee clip in volumisers, I feel like myself again. When positioned just right they are seamless, & the colour is a perfect match. Will definitely buy again. Order #19976.
