Poor Service From Giact.

I am writing to share a deeply disappointing experience I had with a GIACT customer service representative named Kim.

I encountered an error message from GIACT while in the middle of an account transfer — unexpected, given that GIACT is not my account holder. When I called to seek clarification, I was met with an unprofessional and unhelpful response. Kim interrupted me repeatedly, informed me from the outset that she would not be able to assist me, and when I asked to speak with a supervisor, initially told me she did not have one. When I expressed disbelief, she changed her answer to say a supervisor was unavailable — a contradiction that further eroded my confidence in the interaction.

The call ended without resolution when Kim abruptly hung up.

I understand that customer service can be challenging, but this interaction fell well below any reasonable standard of professionalism. I plan to bring this matter to the attention of GIACT's management team and to Charles Schwab, a business partner of GIACT's, as they may be interested in how their customers are being treated.

One star — only because the system won't allow for less.

Frustrating Experience with Giact. Poor Partner Choice by Jackson Financial

I attempted to set up a direct deposit from Jackson Financial to my Chase account, but the request was flagged by Giact as “not matching,” even though the account information was completed and verified by a Chase bank manager.
Giact then mailed me a notice stating I had 20 days to request a consumer report to understand why the transfer was denied. The letter included an email for this request, but when I replied, I received a delayed bounce-back message (which landed in spam) informing me that the email account was inactive. Because of that, I missed the deadline and am now unable to obtain the consumer report I was entitled to. Instead of clarity, I was led through an unnecessary and frustrating loop.
I am disappointed that Jackson partners with Giact. This has turned what should have been a simple transfer into a long, burdensome process that now requires a medallion stamp and a series of additional steps. Giact’s communication and process feel unreliable, and I believe any financial institution choosing to work with them should understand that it reflects directly on their own credibility.

Similar to another review, seems Fidelity also uses GIATC to get approval to add a banking entity for payments out of their investment accounts. I was not allowed to add a Chase Bank checking account as a payment destination. Apparently the inquiry to GIATC goes out in the background, and the Fidelity Advisor was also not aware of the inquiry was happening. The message that appeared siad Fidelity would not add the payee account because of information received from GIATC, but would not say WHAT the information was. The only way I could find out was to generate a form, which contained every possible piece of sensitive information conceivable, and MAIL it to them. Phone inquiries nor online inquiries will not be answered. The inquiry amounts to a credit check. The idea that they want to pull a credit check before setting up where MY money goes is unacceptable. I intend terminating my relationship with Fidelity after 23 years.

It seems that Synchrony bank uses this…

It seems that Synchrony bank uses this company to vet checking accounts. They have messed up my King Size account such that I closed it. Synchrony employees do not even know that this is done and it seems that GIACT makes it very difficult to correct problems. I must write them to clear the problem and they do not correct problems over the phone. I did not even find out about giact until today and did not know that this is another "consumer reporting agency"
