OK If you do not mind drinking from stained cups. Suggest you inspect cup before ordering your beverage.

Ordered and paid for an E gift card on the 21st Jan 2024 for my brother in law’s birthday to be sent to him on the 28th Jan 2024. Costa Coffee took the money out of my account, but never delivered the gift card. Tried calling the help line but that is not taking calls and directs you to their social media or to contact them using a customer form, all of which I have done and have had no response. All of which leaves me out of pocket, my brother in law without a present and some easy money for Costa! You would hope and think a big company like this would be more easily contactable, but seems like they are hiding in plain sight. Very poor service all round.

My 18 year old son and I have just had a shopping trip in Southampton, and anyone with a young adult will know how hard it is to get them out with you, thought we would have a drink & Cake in Costa Coffee in the Marlands, Southampton, usually a nice venue, waited my turn then ordered cake & 2 Salted Caramel Coffee hot milkshakes, two staff in attendance, one staff asked the other for help because as well as me there were two other customer waiting, the younger member of staff made a comment about the other staff member telling me that as it was busy she should have told me the hot milkshakes were unavailable, when I challenged this she remarked that she had a meeting, is the customer not more important than the meeting, only 50/50 she said.... in the age when the cost of living is crippling, and a coffee & cake is a real treat, should I have been made to feel uncomfortable... why is there no good service anymore, does no one value the customer?

Costa coffee Eastleigh. Purchased a coffee for a friend this morning and it has made her unwell. £3.55 for rubbish.

Popped in to the coffee shop today with a friend.
Orders 2 drinks and a brie and cranberry toastie and cake..
The toastiest was awful.. over cooked, presentation rubbish. Shouldn’t even be bothered to cut the sandwich evenly and not at a triangle.
Our drinks- hot choclate was so watery and the latte was disgusting. We both came home with tummy upsets 🥵🥵🥵🥵

Outstanding service. Currently sat in Costa near the Tower of London. The two gentlemen are an absolute delight . Friendly with excellent customer service.

service there was absolutely terrible the workers ignored me in addition when I finally got my drink called "Sticky Toffee Iced Latte" it tasted terrible the flavour was off and just didn't taste good.

I arrived at Costa in Towcester yesterday ( mon 13th nov at 4:53pm) to be told by two rude staff that I wouldn't be getting a drink I asked why and they said because we are shut!, i replied that you don't shuevet for another 7 mins and was greeted with an oh well, all the rythi are shut down, we only get paid till 5:30pm and if you want to pay us after that then fine!. I mean the actual rudeness of it to a customer. I said I would like their names as I was going to make a complaint and they refused, I was not the only customer refused service either. There is clearly a culture at this store of shutting everything down early to ensure they can finish early, which is not acceptable considering you shut at 5pm and are paid from 5pm until 5:30pm to shut down and clean. This has happened to me on more than one occassion and I know of this happening to friends and family too. Now I would guess to clean these machines properly must take 15 mins or so, so if a customer is walking in the door at 4:53pm and they are shut down, this means in reality they are refusing to serve customers from around 4:30pm when they shut at 5pm, that is not acceptable. Costa, how much is this bad practice costing you in sales? This store has a reputation for bad customer service and rude staff !

My wife and I went to the Drive through at Aintree Liverpool , and although the counter service was empty with just us two standing waiting there to be served , behind the counter there were three staff , after waiting a while just to be greeted the staff member in front of us said , “just wait a few seconds” and then walked off returning a bit later to continue to ignore us , he seemed pre occupied with an Uber eats order, sadly most of the fast food and coffee stores this seems to be the case , surely customers standing in front of you need to be prioritise as they have come to you , my wife and I voted with our feet and walked off , Costa has lost a regular customer for good ,sadly if you accept a second class service , that’s what you’ll get , that’s why I have took to trust pilot to see if feedback has any effect?

There are issue in the coffee that is a proper technological vending machine are not used to make coffee latte.

Had the worst ever stale cake this afternoon. Purchased a lonesome cinnamon bun, only one left. It had to be a leftover from at least the weekend (now Tuesday). It was only edible by dipping it my coffee, to the amusement of other customers. Have had previous similar experiences at other Costa outlets and will not get caught out again. Staff are lovely at this outlet which is why I didn’t make a fuss.

After exiting a toilet cubicle at Terminal 4 Heathrow arrivals I saw a male washing his feet in one of the hand basins. He was wearing a Costa Coffee T-shirt. I thought 'give him the benefit of the doubt.' Maybe he had a busy shift and was about to go home. Nope, I watched him leave the toilets and go straight behind the counter and continue working at Costa in the arrivals hall. I was going to have a coffee and a bite to eat there. Instead I went to Nero's upstairs .

Went to Costa (Hendon, NW4 3SA) for lunch after having a long morning at the hospital. Ordered a soya cappucino and a rocky road. Wanted to have the vegan toastie but you didn't have it(as usual).
My coffee was disgusting, undrinkable. I did not want to complain at first but I could not drink it, the milk was off. When I went to the counter and explained to the kind girl so served me, another member of the staff which I was not talking to(short blonde hair) raised her voice to me and said next time I should say it right away because I drank half of the coffee which was not true. What is te difference if I have a sip or 10, the coffee was disgusting and milk was off so you give me a new one because I payed for it, you didn't. ALso you have to throw it anyway? Lol
The kind girl who originally served me did not have an issue in making a new coffee with a different milk.
I don't appreciate the way this rude woman talked to me. She clearly has no customer service skills and has no clue how to talk to customers. I worked in hospitality for 10 years and in coffee shops, I received good training and never spoke like this to any customer. If You don't like your job or don't have the skills to do it then find a new one.
The audacity to speak like that to customers, unbelivable...

Sadly it's got greedy and overpriced everything.the tea jumped from £2.25 to £2.60 overnight 35p increase.how can that be justified I don't know..but what I have noticed.less busier and there food section littered with 50% off stickers on food..obviously to expensive so having to sell cheap before date expires...coffee prices are horrendous aswell.

Last year, the Costa Coffee Shop in Lowestoft had a leak in the roof, so moved tables and chairs downstairs which was fine. They have now had another leak in the roof and the chairs and tables have been moved again and look a complete mess! The service was extremely poor and very slow. Also no toilet roll in the toilet!

I purchased a Costa gift card for my 86 year old grandmother (who is allergic to heavy rain). She and I went to Costa to spend it on an extremely rainy day. We went inside to find NO seats anywhere (they were full) it was very packed.i told a worker of my grandmothers allergie but very carelessly they refused to acknowledge the situation simply saying "there is nothing we can do" without even getting up to look for a spare chair. A pretty nice cafe but this experience just changed my mindset. Sadly, I will be sticking to cafe Nero.

The Snipe Ashton u Lyne - excellent service. I actually go there for a coffee even if I’m not shopping and it’s a place I drop into when I’m just passing
