I was a member on this website (Gigiyoung.com), but didn't want to receive emails from them. I unsubscribed and I still received emails. I interacted with the webmaster and he assured me the emails would stop. I still received emails. A year ago I reported them to their Email marketing manager (Mail Chimp) and I reported them to the Federal Trade Commission. Two weeks ago they sent me another email. I forwarded it to Mail Chimp requesting a solution so that I would stop receiving their emails. Mail Chimp removed my email address from their database and promised to talk to them. A few days later I received a full refund for my annual membership which had nearly completed the term. I did not request a refund. I just wanted them to comply with CAN-SPAM laws and stop sending me email after I had requested them to stop.
