Bought two different selections of Hostas. Different description, different picture on web, same number of bare root plants. One $25, one $62.50. Got them. Different name on shipped invoice. Same name on the two bags. Yet, I paid $62.50 for one, $25 for the other. I called. I was told the two packages are intended to contain the same thing. A few minutes later I called back and said I paid $37.50 more for one than the other. I was refunded that amount. I check the website over a week later and they are still being sold exactly the same. Not a good business practice to earn trust from customers.

My plants are very healthy and, in fact, my Veronica's have lovely flowers. They package their plants very carefully. The prices on my selections were some of the best that I found.

Shipped fast and got beautiful, healthy iris and day lilies as I had when I bought them previously. Very, very pleased with this company. So many places I ordered from came dried out roots only, these are true little daylily and iris plants. The others I bought from GBW are thriving and beautiful. Definitely will keep buying from this company.

I ordered five plants which I was truly excited to receive two of the plants were smaller than my thumb in actual growth and probably won't survive.
It looks as though they took small plugs of barely rooted plants shoved them into court pots and filled them with soil around them so basically you got plants that weren't properly rooted into the containers they were shipped in.
Still waiting to hear back from the manufacturer but I have no hopes

Poor quality bulbs, many of which never flowered. Terrible customer service - they don’t stand behind their products. Buyer beware! Or, better yet, buy elsewhere. And, if you complain or comment respectfully, they will block you from their Facebook account, so don’t look there for accurate reviews.

Get their catalogue! They have a wonderful selection especially for dayilies, peonies, dahlias, and hostas. They send them to you just before the ultimate planting time. I have gotten many plants from them and they all have survived. I especially love their peony list as it tells you when they will bloom, their size, and if they are best for their color or fragrance. They also often have clearance plants at great deals. Be aware that the plants you receive are small in size so they will take time (years) to establish.
