Glamping Hub Rocks! 5 stars!
We are listed on Glamping Hub in Chatsworth, California and have found working with Glamping Hub to be a very positive experience. The personal help we have received from them has been above and beyond what was expected. The service they provide for hosts is excellent. The guests we have met through Glamping Hub have all been delightful and appreciative. They have had no complaints about the reservation process, and were happy with all platform, communications and loved the concept of glamping!!.
Do Your Due Diligence, You Should Be All Set
Having worked closely with the Glamping Hub Partnerships Manager for my job, I have nothing but good things to say about this company -- they really have their customer's best interests at heart, not to mention, tons of unique listings.
With that said, as a customer, it's important to do your due diligence before booking. There are thousands of hosts from around the world listed on Glamping Hub, and unfortunately, the odds are there will be some bad eggs. So ...
a) Thoroughly read the listing description, top to bottom.
b) Read the Terms & Conditions. Under "Disputes between Guests and Hosts," it states, "In the event of any disputes between a Guest and a Host, Glamping Hub may, at its discretion, assist in resolving such dispute. However, both Guests and Hosts agree that Glamping Hub is not responsible for and has no liability regarding any Guest/Host disputes or said disputes’ resolution."
c) Read the ratings. If a host has no or sub-bar ratings, you may want to proceed with caution.
d) Message the host. They should be able to clearly and efficiently answer any questions you have.
A unique and great experience
A unique and great experience. If you like nature but also hotel comfort, going on glamping gives you both experiences together. Reservation process was easy and good. Staff is friendly and will help you if you got any questions or doubts, and in my case the glamping site owners were so welcoming and warming. Recommended if you want a glamorous getaway in the middle of nature.
Misleading detail pages / no help from customer service
I booked a home in Leavenworth, WA for 3 days in August. At the start, I clicked pet friendly filter because we take our dog everywhere we go. A beautiful cabin appeared and I booked it right away. Yesterday, when I got the rental agreement I noticed it said no pets, and so I called Glamping Hub and they said “no problem, we see this is wrong and will help you. First though, can you reach back out to the host and ask for help.” I left that call assured that Glamping Hub was there to help me.
I reached out to the home owner, and they acknowledged that there is an issue with the home appearing under the pet friendly filter on mobile but not desktop. Of course, I booked on mobile. They did not offer to help me in anyway.
I called Glamping Hub again this morning, and was met with a totally different tone. First, the woman who answered the phone accused me of lying about calling yesterday noting she couldn’t see it in the system. She couldn’t see it because the first person I spoke with never took my information down.
Second, she said she didn’t understand why anyone would be taking screenshots while booking a home. I told her I wasn’t, I had take these yesterday to show (as best I could) that the home still appeared. She gasped.
Third, she said to me “I don’t know why you weren’t able to read the page, but I will still send this to our claims department.” She refused to acknowledge that the key root cause was Glamping Hub broken filter.
As of right now, I am out $1900 - we can’t go without our dog. Glamping Hub did not offer to help resolve at all.
Note that when I have used Airbnb, they are
extremely helpful. Last year, my dad and I landed for the World Series and the host cancelled last minute. Airbnb immediately put us up in a really nice hotel, no questions asked.
Do not book on Glamping Hub. I will have to take this to court to get it resolved, and if I’d booked with Airbnb it would have taken 3 minutes and I would be really happy with the solution.

I've been glamping twice now with Glamping Hub the vacations have been two of the most unique and memorable trips I have ever taken. One trip was to a tree house, another to a safari tent. The booking process was easy and straightforward, the Support team was always available for any questions, and the hosts went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be
The most unique trip of your life!
I’ve stayed in so many different places from yurts to tree houses, and its always a trip of a lifetime! Everyone at Glamping Hub are so helpful and make you feel right at home in their unique places! From being completely secluded in the wilderness to homemade breakfast from the hosts! These one of a kind homes do not disappoint! The staff are very helpful as well, answering any questions you may have! I can’t wait to see what kind of unique place we stay at next! A tiny home? A tent? An igloo? The possibilities are endless!

I booked to stay in a tree house and an Aframe cabin with my girlfriend while we were traveling around California. We stayed in Topanga and in Idyllwild two places that were very different to each other but equally amazing. We try to go glamping now for at least one or two nights every time we travel. Would definitely recommend.
Misleading information from Hosts, No accountabilty from Glamping Hub
I wanted to like Glamping Hub. I am a fan of similar rental home agencies such as Airbnb, VRBO and Homestead, but the ruggedness of Glamping Hub was very appealing. I had been eyeing their site for several months before I decided to take the plunge and give them a shot.
I was planning a weekend trip with a few of my girlfriends. They all had different needs, so it took several weeks of going back and forth to finally decide which home we could stay in. I did all of the leg work on costs, location coordination, etc.
When we booked the rental, we were notified the following day that the host has a 4 night minimum. I dissected the listing and it clearly stated that there was a 2 night minimum and when I put in the 2 nights, it was shown as an available 2 night minimum rental.
I decided to send an email regarding the error in hopes for some type of help from Glamping Hub. Although they seemed sympathetic, they were unable to do anything for me. They gave me a list of two other homes, (which I had already considered). One was $600 more then we could afford and the other was in a different area and was still more expensive. I sent them a home that was the closest in cost to our first choice, but they didn't want to discount for the difference. I asked them if they could get the host to accept 2 nights since that was what it had stated on the listing, but they refused.
In the end, they customer service was poor. They could have done something to help because of the misinformation on their site, but they took no accountability.
Website out of date. Calendar and online payment doesn't work
Great concept with some great looking places. But it took me a week to find out if there was availability at the three accommodations I was interested in. This was due to the calendar for them being out of date and also glamping hub requiring you to pay before asking the host if they have availability. It took three days, including a phonecall to the US, an online chat and an email for them to work out why their system wouldn't process a simple credit card payment. Eventually they reset my account and that fixed it.
Badly dated. Find another way to book Glamping sites.
Using glampinghub for the first time
Using glampinghub for the first time, I wasn't sure how they work. I called the customer service and got through to a person on the first try. They explained everything about how to book and what to expect for payments and confirming my booking. Got booked in a beautiful place in southern Spain.
