The ads promise so much more than what is provided. You can get everything they offer in 3 good youtube videos and you wont have to hear the same 3 minute intro every time. I was looking for the secrets from high end fashion houses. I got a not terribly interesting lecture on how to do straight stitches and ladder stitches. Should've gone for pattern drafting again but in truth the editing in these master class videos STINKS. In order to make it feel like you're getting something of value they repeat the same lead-ins on every damn video. Repetitive, boring, and there are no exciting secrets, no time-saving tips, no techniques you haven't heard from basic sewing videos.

The sections where Ivor demonstrates the couture-level alterations — the same methods he used while working on high-end garments and complex fit challenges throughout his career, come later in the program. This is where students begin reshaping garments structurally and achieving the level of fit typically associated with professional tailoring.
Many experienced sewists choose to move directly to those advanced modules, since the lessons are fully accessible and can be followed in the order that best fits their experience level.
This masterclass was built to transfer a complete professional alteration system — the same level of thinking and execution used at the highest level of fashion. For students who continue into the advanced sections, this is where the real shift happens.

Pattern-Making Course is Worth the Money
I have only just started the Pattern-Making course, but it is definitely worth the money. It is really useful, especially if you are a beginner like me.
I have always struggled finding the right clothes and then patterns because my measurements aren´t standard.
That is why I am very happy with the course as it gives great explanations and tips how to create a basic for your pattern and adjust it to your size.
The only downside so far is the video quality. Do not get me wrong, most of the time the video is fine, but sometimes there are a few seconds where the sound is muted or the pattern is moved so it doesn´t show the step the lecturer is explaining.

Not a Master class
I bought the online Alterations Master Class. Glad I didn't pay full price. Lots of talking about who the presenter has worked for and brands he recommends, spent more time than necessary on the tools required. Would not describe this as a Master Class and definitely not for sewers with some experience. Promises a lot but does not deliver.
Apparently if you can sew a pin hem ( this was clearly explained and demonstrated) you will be able to get work in fashion houses.
The best part was the different types of seams that can be used with clear demonstrations.

Nancy Tauber:pattern making masterclass
Nancy Tauber obviously knows the business. She instilled confidence all along the journey of this class. At no time during this study did I feel that anyone should feel belittled, ashamed or embarrassed about their knowledge, or lack thereof, of the pattern making process. I applaud her teaching method, as well as the fact that even while the class was a video, Nancy still conducted the study as though her students were right there in the room with her. Something that is sometimes difficult to do. Congratulations on a class well done!

Didn’t deliver on its promise
The online course was fairly well put together and enjoyable as such, but did not deliver on its promise.
I understood I would get to see the actual sewing and alteration techniques the ’Garment Surgeon’ uses, but the course only showed how to plan the alterations and how to pin prior to doing anything else. And it never went on to show the actual alteration being done.
I can find any number of great tutorials from talented professionals on YouTube, so will not be paying for GlowHigh courses again.

I liked that the course was easy to follow
I liked that the course was straight forward. Not all of the video work was done well, but it wasn't horrid. Unfortunately, for me, i am still no closer to having a sloper as I am assymetrical and there isn't the information I was hoping to learn.

I haven't had time to finish the courses that I signed up for because of moving but the classes were detailed and had really good videos.
