Really brilliant few days away. Got picked up from Loughborough and headed towards Disneyland Paris for a couple of days staying in the Marvel. I want to a massive shoutout and thank you to Matthew and Adrian and to Laura on bus number 60! They made the journey amazing with quizzes music. And Matthew was so funny. Paris
Not long returned from a trip to Paris including The Arc de Triomphe race at Longechamps with Goldcrest. Travelled on Friday 3rd of October from Prescot early bells. Arrived at our very nice hotel early evening .
A very friendly group of people on our coach.
Pleasantly surprised how quick the time went helped
by having such pleasant and informative drivers Matthew a bit of a comedian 😉 and Adrian . On the Sat After an early. Breakfast we joined. the coach for. A trip to central Paris very. Enjoyable.
Sunday we joined the group again travelling to the Main event The Great. French. Horse race The Arc Dee Triomphe…..What a great day

Disneyland Paris trip
Our trip to Disneyland Paris as a family of four was incredible all thanks to our amazing coach driver Mark, our feeder driver on the return journey home to say the least was very pushy and rushed us through the interchange where most family's on the coach didnt get to grab any food etc as he wanted to get straight off, that part of the whole holiday was the only downside and not enough to ruin our first experience but wish the drivers had the same attitude as Mark did because he went above and beyond for our family and the other family's and guests on his coach, he was our main driver all the way from Kent to DLP and back again and I would only ever go back there with him as he was extremely professional, helpful, informative and an all round stand up guy who couldn't do enough for his guests, he is a credit to your company and I feel like I've made a friend for life with him and how welcoming he was to us all. Thankyou Goldcrest and a massive Thankyou to Mark keep being you buddy there's not enough people like you in this world, it would surely be a much nicer place if there was.

Trip to Arc de Triumphe Races
Just returned from a trip to France for seeing the sights of Paris and the Arc de Triumphe races. We were a group of 12 passengers from our Bowling Club in the West Midlands taken by a Tudor Rose coach with drivers Adrian and Matthew. Both Adrian and Matthew made the trip very enjoyable with their humour and knowledge of the sights and area we were visiting. All 12 of us want to give a 5* review for the trip and would recommend it for anyone.

Excellent value for Money
Lille Flea Market
We have never been on a coach holiday before so were quite unsure what to expect.
We should not have been concerned !
We joined the coach at 5 am as the first group and were welcomed by Jack the Driver and Sharon his boss ! ( Wife )
We had an uneventful drive down to Dover to join the ferry, an excellent crossing and drive to our hotel in Kortrijk in Belgium.
The hotel was adequate the continental breakfast buffet was excellent, the location was somewhat remote from the town, and when we arrived there was no food available, but we had been forewarned this could be the case so we had packed adequate supplies to see us over until breakfast.
Day 2...
A full on 8 hrs in Lille was too much for us and we got an Uber back to the hotel to freshen up and explore the town.... again by Uber What a wonderful historic place this is ! We had a really good evening in Mary's Bar a Little bit of Ireland in Belgium good food and drinks at affordable prices.
Day 3.
An earlier start this morning( 8 am) and back to Lille for last minute bargains !! ( More of the same )
We were there before many of the stall holders were prepared. Back to the coach for 11am.
And we are off for the return Journey.
We would have preferred a few hours in Kortrijk in stead of revisiting the flea market, but that's just our opinion.
The return journey was not without its problems, held up at Calais and traffic delays all handled without any fuss by our wonderful team up front who kept us informed at all times about our progress and eta's for pick ups.
A change of driver was necessitated due to drivers hours regulations (Caused by the Traffic holdups) again all handled without fuss and we were always kept informed.
We eventually arrived at our destination at 01.45 hrs and then had a 80 mile drive home arriving completely exhausted but happy we had the best weekend.

Recently went on the Lille…
Recently went on the Lille flea/antiques market coach trip.
The driver Jack and his trusty assistant Sharon were outstanding, easily deserve 5* for their knowledge and helpful guidance and humour. 🤩
The coach trip overall was very enjoyable.
Negatives for us were.
The hotel was great but there was no food available when we arrived (we were advised of this beforehand) but the lack of restaurants nearby (apart from a McDonalds & Pizza Hut (which was closed) was frustrating.
It would be good if the transport planners found hotels that have some restaurants nearby or a hotel that serves food, even if only hot snacks.
Also consideration for maybe an extra day, the first day was simply a travel day and then off early, and a long day spent trawling the market & a couple hours on the Sunday morning.
It would be great if thought could be given to look at the Sunday being a market day as well and then return travel on the Monday.
The market was enormous and we only managed about a third of it so we missed a lot. We would have loved to have been able to visit more of the market.

Excellent trip to Lille France
Excellent trip to Lille France, the coach drivers Mark and Gareth were fantastic, very helpful the whole journey and very polite and funny, they made sure everyone was looked after. Hotel Novotel was amazing staff very nice, food very nice.
Things to be mindful of when going ro the flea market. Comfy footwear, bring a trolley, and plenty to drink and eat as there are a limited cafes due to the crowds and nowhere to sit. Be prepared for a lot of walking, and take care of your wallet/purse.

Gold Crest Andre Rieu trip
My sister and I have just got back from a 4 day trip to Maastricht to see Andre Rieu in concert.
It was an absolutely fantastic trip. Yes it's 2 long days spent on a coach, both around 22hours of travel, but it's so worth it.
The concert itself is fantastic, even if we did have rain all day, except for the 3 hours of the actual concert. The atmosphere is electric and to see Andre Rieu close up as he came out of the theatre to greet the crowd was something else.
What made this trip extra special was the 2 coach drivers, Matt and Adrian. They were super professional the whole time but incredibly caring and wanted everyone to have as much fun as possible. They were incredibly entertaining - think Morecambe and Wise - the banter was perfection.
The whole atmosphere on the coach was one of singing, dancing and sheer comradeship of the fellow travellers - some friends for life.
Some areas that Gold Crest could improve:
1. Communication - little information given out on the buses. Drivers not sure why customers moving between the 2 coaches. Little information of what is happening time wise. We had to gain information about what was happening the day of the concert from other travellers - waiting for them to come back from a trip.
2. Ferry crossing - not much you can do about the French customs but not going to Calais, and using an alternative company - DFDS and traveling to Dunkirk may help.
3. Thoroughly loved the coach drivers but they mentioned using the TV screens for us to watch a film and giving out headphones - this didn't happen at all and we were in both coaches.
Overall a fantastic trip and these coach drivers are angels.

In terms of your other comments, the travel documents that we provide to each party detail a lot of information, including coach pick up and drop off times; our drivers will also do their best to provide passengers with information to ensure the smooth operation of the tour. If things aren’t clear, then we at Gold Crest Holidays provide a Duty Manager (whose number is detailed in the travel documents) whose job it is to assist.
In relation to the ferry crossing, at the moment there are occasionally delays relating to customs, and we do use DFDS and services to Dunkirk as an alternative to Calais, if needed.
As regards the television screens, we are sure the drivers would have been happy to help if you had asked. We are pleased to know that even without the screens you had a wonderful time on the coach and made some friends for life amongst your fellow passengers.

Great break. Although French customs held us up the two drivers Adrian and Matt kept everyone in good spirits. The trip to Maastrich to see Andre Rieu was fantastic and would recommend to everyone. The customer service, booking and organisation was also excellent.. We had a very annoying passenger but the drivers were very professional and patient.

Fantastic 4-Day Break to Maastricht – Unforgettable Moments and Great Company
I’ve just returned from a lovely 4-day holiday to Maastricht with my mum, and we had a truly memorable time. The city is beautiful – full of charm, history, and riverside cafés – and the highlight was without a doubt the André Rieu concert on Sunday evening. It was a magical experience, held in the stunning Vrijthof Square, and something we’ll never forget. The atmosphere was incredible!
A huge part of what made this trip so enjoyable were our drivers, Matt and Adrian. They were absolutely fantastic – professional, friendly, and genuinely caring. They kept everyone well-informed, ensured we were comfortable throughout the journey, and brought great humour and calm to the group. They went above and beyond and made us feel really well looked after.
This was a special trip shared with my mum, full of wonderful memories, and I’m so grateful to Matt and Adrian for helping make it such a positive experience overall.

Andre Rieu Trip
Returned early hours this morning from an amazing trip to Masterich to see Andre Rieu.
We were picked up on time by two amazing drivers, Matt and Adrian. They kept us informed of everything and made the long journey so much fun.
The coach was immaculate.
The concert was amazing.
The hotel was superb.
Fun on the coach.
Matt and Adrian made this experience a 5 star.
Never done a coach holiday before but Goldcrest and the professional drivers are the best.

Royal Coach Experience…
We booked the one of the first royal coaches to Disneyland Paris in the main Disneyland Hotel for our honeymoon! What an amazing experience absolutely loved it from start to finish! Lovely coach drivers made you feel right at ease! The hotel was absolutely beautiful! Loved how we could book the character breakfast with goldcrest too which was a magical experience! Royal Adventure-Disneyland Paris Hotel
We had a fantastic short break to Disneyland Paris with Goldcrest. The coach team (Lee, Sarah and Joshua) were amazing and looked after us superbly, making the journey both ways easy and enjoyable. Sarah was fantastically attentive and Lee was exceptionally knowledgeable. The Disneyland hotel was spectacular and I couldn’t book the accommodation alone for the cost of our whole trip independently so it was incredibly good value as part of the Royal package. The park was, of course, magical. First time coach tripping with our two girls, but won’t hesitate to do it again. The lovely Goldcrest souvenirs were just lovely too and a beautiful keepsake. We really appreciated the effort undertaken to make this experience extra special.

Cannot Fault Gold Crest
I chose to book with Gold Crest for our Disney Paris break as I had booked with them before (although this was years ago!). I cannot fault them from booking to getting off the coach at home. The booking process was easy online, customer services were friendly and helpful, good communication and the coach staff were friendly and helpful. I will be booking our next trip to Disney with them again.
