Took a funeral plan out today for my uncle ,Paul was very helpful and friendly,got sorted and very satisfied I’ve got it sorted.

I pre ordered a funeral plan with them, the agent was very professional and helpful repeating things if I needed him to , he explained what the plan I ordered covered and what it didn't. Highly recommend this company.

Not fit for purpose
Horrible experience. My x husband purchased one of the plans to cover his funeral. Left all the instructions with our daughter for his burial.
He died and the plan that cost over 3000 wasn't worth the paper it was written on. Leaving 1.300 short and that was without any funeral car. Be careful when purchasing a plan. Stick to somewhere like the co.op who's plans are fit for purpose

I spoke to a very professional understanding lady called lynne today who firstly wasn't like a typical sales lady who tries and sells you everything before you have even said your name, this lady I can't thank enough very knowledgeable and patient whilst I asked her numours things about mine and my husbands package, I'm pleased to say I'm so happy lynne picked the phone up to me today as I feel a weight has been lifted off my shoulders, she is a true credit to the company and they should be proud to have her work for them, thank you for today lynne it was a pleasure doing business with you and I will be passing your name on to friends 11/10.

I dealt with Paul for my Aunts pre paid plan and found him to be very professional and courteous. My Aunt was very happy with the outcome. I would recommend Golden Charter wholehearted.

Call back returned within 30 minutes.

Phone call from Paul
Initially visited our local Funeral directors who arranged a phone call on day and time which was convient for us from Golden Charter.
Paul Cleghorn rang promptly. Paul was friendly and polite explaining very clearly the different plans. He also explained at the begining of the phone call that our conversation would be recorded.
I would recommend Paul and company highly.

Great company
My mum and dad took out their plan with golden charter years ago recently my mum passed away I was dreading going to the funeral parlour thought their would be more to pay with such inflation and things not covered.
To my amazement everything was so smooth and easy no extra charges made it less stressful and we were quickly through it having the plan made it so much easier all decided in advance my mums choices she had made her decisions which gave my dad and me such comfort no money worries fully recommend.
Great company
One piece of advice when making the plan or leaving your last wishes chose your songs, hymns, poems, cremation service needs 3 songs, poem,non religious or religious prayers and hymns. My mum only left 1 song so we had to make decisions which was hard and tearful, bereavement is very hard if you pre pay your plan for a funeral it makes it less difficult on everyone left behind and make a note of all your decisions.

Let Down By Dignity
After my mother was let down by another company, Dignity, Paul from Golden charter helped us to transfer our business to them with no problems at all. He couldn't have made it easier for us and now my 95 year old mother is happy again.
