I spoke with Paul Dougan from Golden Charter to set up a funeral plan. He was courteous, informal and professional. Everything was explained very well and I have received email back up as promised. I felt relaxed and comfortable dealing with the whole process.

I spoke to a very pleasant lady Tracy hill who went through the plan that I wished to buy thoroughly with me and no pressure whatsoever.

Easy to set up funeral plans for my husband and myself.
Decided to pay over 12 months which is interest free.
Also getting free m and s vouchers which is a bonus.
Now to tell the kids everything is sorted for them.
Also chose the funeral directors which I wanted that was not on the list.

Just organised a Funeral plan for my mother, Arfan Ali talk me through the process and explained everything clearly. Communication by email was very efficient.
No pushy sales talk the whole process was very easy and stress free.
I would recommend Golden Charter funeral plan.

They were very helpful with helping me choose the right funeral plan. Everything was explained full and clearly and the man i spoke was very polite and supportive.

Years ago, before I retired, I opted for a plan, and recently, much has evolved. I reached out to them to switch to a direct cremation. John was empathetic and detailed the options available. As assured, the adjustment was reflected in my bank balance in just a few days. Golden Charter provides outstanding service with thorough explanations of what they deliver.

we bought plans and later made change of crematorium. we were asked to pay more in spite the chosen crematorium was nearer. we confirmed we would pay in june and after 5 months we still waiting for confirmation of change to make payment. recently after 5 emails they responded now in december asking we call them. i have now been waiting over 25 minutes and when advisor came on they cut off the call without my saying anything of why I phoned. Also I added a second limousine to our plan in this is not noted in the plan. Please avoid taking out plans with them.

Tracey was very helpful and allowed me to set up a funeral plan for my mother with ease and was able to answer all my questions. Would recommend to anyone wishing to do the same

Spoke with Adam this morning and I'm all sorted. My kids don't need to worry.
Excellent service, Adam was great.
A no frills funeral with the funeral director of my choice.
Payment was easy, in full, over the phone. A worry off my mind and one less thing for my kids to fret about when I'm gone.
Cannot praise Golden Charter enough.

Phoned today wanting to cancel my funeral plan that I have already paid half of. However I can only stop the payments and they are holding the remainder of my money until I pass and then my family can use it. I require this money in return as I have fallen in hard times and struggling, as I have been rather ill amd unable to work. No sympathy given. Don't recommend if its compassion you are looking for.

I’m still here, but couldn’t have been easier to just go in to a local funeral parlour and explain what I wanted. My wishes weren’t questioned so no frills, no fuss and family can collect the urn if any are still around. The point is it’s all with my lawyer, who knows my wishes. I gave x4 stars but if all goes to plan I can change to x5 from beyond;) Paid within a year, no issues, no contact unless I wanted to. I’d no intention of just leaving and hoping someone else would pick up the tab, that’s just not on. I’m sorted.

Called today to set up a funeral plan on behalf of my Uncle he was quite apprehensive of doing this over the phone however he had no need to worry as the process was very straight forward. Tracy Hill was the customer support advisor i dealt with and she explained everything simply and in great detail. The plan was paid for in full over the phone so now my Uncle has peace of mind that his funeral needs have been taken care of. Would recommend this company to family and friends.

My experience with Golden Charter was very positive. I was dealt with by Adam who was very knowledgeable, informative and very pleasant to deal with. I have as a result taken out a Policy with the company. My family have used Golden Charter in the past and I highly recommend them.
