at a price far better than the local funeral director could offer, with more included, even though it will be done by the local funeral director.
Paul even sorted out my partner and my plans that I took out years ago and sending me revised documents, and then gave us two £60 gift vouchers for suggesting a friend, very good experience

I spoke to lorraine percy today about two direct cremation plans
She was very helpful and freindly
And explained very clearly what they offered anrd what we had to do
I would recommend golden charter
And will do at last we have peace of mind an d can get on with our lives

Rang Golden Charter today to purchase two direct cremation plans for myself and my husband. We spoke to Paul who guided us through the process with both professionalism and friendliness. He made sure we understood exactly what was included in the plan and how to make any changes should we need to. Thank you Paul.

When first dealing with Golden Charter on behalf of our mother, all seemed well but went downhill from then. Unfortunately they were not totally upfront about their arrangement fee. Feel we were misinformed. No mention of additional fee on printed paperwork. Subsequently we cancelled. Would not use funeral plans in the future

I spoke to Mariama Gorman today to take out a funeral plan. She talked me through everything and explained what would happen next. She was very helpful and polite

I spoke to Lynne earlier today and she was very helpful. Everything was explained thoroughly and clearly. I would recommend her and Golden Charter without hesitation. My in-laws both had Goldrn Charter plans and it made things a lot easier when the time came to use it.

Had a plan for my mum. She passed and I was unable to get through to the company. VERY long hold times. Eventually I got through and they were apologetic (how about hiring more people?!) and helpful.

Quick enough to take our money, but terrible customer service. I have contacted them twice via the contact form on the website. Got standard response, saying someone will be in touch soon. Not heard anything from them. If you want to get a plan from them make sure you don’t want to change anything.

Phoned Tony made appointment for Wednesday at 14.15 on 21/05/2025 to arrange my funeral and my wife's
tony was away on holiday but would leave word with May who was covering Tonys holidays
arrived at fosters Greenock at 14.00 entrance Door locked wait for ten minutes outside and chapped door no one answered or came to door
gave up went home with my £7620.00
the money to pay for 2 Pre Arranged Funerals
will now go to another funeral directors
to arrange my funeral
advise to other customers don't use fosters they lock you outside go to someone where else
that have doors open

I made a genuine mistake in procedure re the allocation of a funeral director for my friend's funeral and phoned for advice. My query was dealt with within 2 hours and everything sorted. This was a great relief and I could not be more thankful to Tracey who dealt with it efficiently and politely. She was a great listener too and reassured me about everything at what can be quite a stressful time.

Great service, very well explained and clear information explaining the plan details, what’s included and what is not. Callum Kerr was fantastic, clearly explained everything and was very patient. Great service allround and would recommend

It seems that my elderly and disabled mother and father, took out funeral plans with golden charter, who seem to have led them into a family trust with the now infamous Mcclure solicitors, which is now going to result in all sorts of legal advice and fees .... disgusting
