I found the whole process straightforward and efficient. I dealt with David and he did everything he said he would, when he said he would. It may be possible to get more through a private sale, but I got a reasonable price for my car that I was happy with. Recommended.

Goodbye car were very easy to deal with and offered me far more for my car than any other garage or webuyanycar etc.

David and Alex were a great support and alway available for questions and clarifications.

Dropping off the car at local Peter Vardy was very simple.

Quick efficient service ,,sent photographs and they gave valuation after assessing photographs . The best from among online buying companies and £800 more than what thanwebuyanycar quoted and that was before any inspection by them) Turned up with car quick check and everything okayed ..keys handed over, deal done for quoted price no haggling or trying to reduce price.

I received a decent online valuation for my car from Goodbye Car and subsequently booked an appointment to bring the car in to the Aberdeen branch on 11th September.

However when I brought in the car, the salesman said he spoke to the dealership manager and they weren't interested in purchasing SUVs as they were expecting many SUVs to be delivered from other dealer branches down south.

Given that they knew the make, model and type of car when I booked the appointment they should have stated this instead of wasting my time and fuel money.

Sold my car to goodbyecar. I was told by goodbyecar employee John that all paperwork with dvla & tax was done during appointment. A Month later now receiving tax fines from DVLA due to John clearly not doing what he had stated. Far from Good- Bye-Car! More hassle than it’s worth, also got way less than originally offered online, good £3,000 difference.

Can you tell me why you only seem to reply to the good reviews and simply ignore bad ones.as I had a recent issue with Aberdeen branch.and still no response.. this doesn't give a good impression.

Total waste of time. Got online valuation, made appointment and had to wait over 30 minutes to be seen. Eventually had to go looking for a member of staff. Then told because of the age of the car (which they knew and quoted accordingly) they were not interested. Peter Vardy at Hillington has plenty of staff all walking around or looking a computers doing nothing Not interested in the customer.

Goodbye Car Seafield Road Edinburgh don’t touch them unless you know they are interested in the car you have to sell. Wasted my time and petrol to be told they weren’t looking for fiestas. Even though I had an appointment and they had details of car.
After this and the previous day at Grangemouth Branch when they couldn’t see me even though I had an appointment.
MY OPINION DON’T GIVE THEM THE TIME OF DAY. Complete useless company.

Received valuation, booked my car in. Arranged to take car in and then collect new car on the same day. One hour before my booking I received a phone call from Vardy representative to say I should never have been given a valuation and they did not want to buy my car. Apparently they are not buying hybrid/electric cars! Well it would have been nice to know that before I made all my arrangements. I am now left with two cars!! Terrible service.

Sold my car at the Motherwell branch yesterday and received more than 30% offered by We buy any car. I turned up and the process was simple. The young gentleman inspected my car and did not in any way haggle over the price but instead paid me the amount estimated in their original E mail. Painless, seamless, polite and indeed a first class service. My advice is to get an estimate for your vehicle at Goodbys car and then compare it to some of the ridiculous valuations out there from some of the better known companies.
