Very clumsy user interface gave me lots of useless information

1. Reviews: they automatically unpublish about half my reviews because their software decides I have broken a rule, only to reinstate them after I appeal. Maybe they should use AI instead of this clearly inadequate checking software.

2. Directions: in urban environments, they often give me itineraries that take longer time because traffic is slow, and they often give me longer itineraries because they prefer streets classified as main even when there are lower-classified streets that are better and less congested.

3. Map: there are too many inaccuracies, like telling you to take a street that is closed or turn left where left turn is not allowed. In rural areas, too many road and street names are missing.

Le système de modération des avis de Google Maps est, dans mon cas, totalement dépourvu de crédibilité.

J’ai voulu publier un avis sur Uber à propos d’une interaction réelle, dont je possède des preuves, notamment des captures d’écran de mes échanges avec l’entreprise. Pourtant, Google Maps a bloqué mon avis comme s’il était faux.

Le problème est simple : la plateforme me permet uniquement de faire appel via un bouton, mais ne me permet pas de joindre la moindre preuve. Je ne peux donc ni transmettre mes captures d’écran ni démontrer la réalité de l’interaction. Dans ces conditions, Google Maps ne vérifie rien sérieusement : la plateforme décide par défaut, sans véritable examen contradictoire.

Autrement dit, Google Maps peut qualifier un avis de “faux” ou l’écarter sans donner à l’utilisateur les moyens de prouver qu’il dit vrai. Ce n’est pas un système fiable ; c’est un système arbitraire qui, en pratique, protège les entreprises bien plus qu’il ne protège l’exactitude des avis.

Une plateforme d’avis qui refuse les preuves lorsqu’elle bloque un commentaire perd toute autorité morale et une grande partie de sa valeur pratique.

I had traffic court today and it was at one. I put in the address on the app and it took me to a totally different location in which made me late for court. I would not refer y’all to anybody because that matter right there could cause you chill time warrant for your arrest, etc.. I am very disappointed and I always use y’all and then all of a sudden my court date y’all make me miss it. It’s pretty messed up just like the time y’all made me take four rights in Texas and then I hit a hog after I seen McCarthy Road which is my last name. How ironic I mean, are y’all trying to take me out?

Das Team lehnt ständig Bewertungen ab, da diskriminierend. Vor allem als ich das bei Google Hamburg machte und selbst kritisch zu sein Zack war es entfernt.
Was ein Jammer.
Maps nutze ich sowieso kaum und wenn schlechte Bewertungen entfernt werden Brauch ich Maps ja gar nicht mehr

A bus stop is closed so I suggest a change which is declined after literally 30 seconds. The driver told me it is closed and then google maps says it checks its edits for 'Accuracy'

It is a good map service but they are terrible at transparency. I'm not allowed to give a 1 star review for some place because google seems to disagree with me? For example if I give a church a Q star they remove it because that is "insensitive"...

Hace años que dejé una reseña honesta en Google Maps para alertar sobre estas prácticas. Sin embargo, recientemente mi apelación ha sido denegada y la reseña eliminada, alegando que “no seguía sus políticas”, previo pago de Social You.

Quiero advertir a otros usuarios sobre SocialYou S.L., una empresa española que ofrece ofertas de trabajo falsas y recopila datos de usuarios para venderlos a terceros.

Esto refleja dos problemas graves y relacionados:

Google Maps: un sistema que permite silenciar críticas legítimas mediante políticas generales aplicadas de manera arbitraria, favoreciendo indirectamente a empresas con influencia o dinero.

SocialYou S.L.: prácticas engañosas que priorizan el beneficio económico sobre la seguridad, transparencia y bienestar de los usuarios.

Si intentas proteger a otros usuarios señalando abusos, terminas siendo censurado, lo que demuestra que las plataformas protegen a los abusadores y perjudican a quienes denuncian injusticias.

Este tipo de práctica es completamente injusta, egoísta y patética, y debería preocupar a cualquier usuario que busque información veraz antes de interactuar con esta empresa o confiar en la plataforma que aloja sus opiniones.

Los consumidores merecen:
-Información clara y transparente sobre empresas y servicios
-Que las plataformas prioricen la seguridad y la justicia, no el beneficio económico
-Que las críticas legítimas no sean eliminadas por políticas vagas o excusas corporativas

SocialYou S.L. y plataformas como Google Maps deberían respetar a los usuarios y actuar con integridad, no permitir que empresas abusivas silencien voces críticas.

I've been using Google Maps since its inception. Although my experience used to be overwhelmingly positive, their recent changes, the subsequent Timeline history data loss, and privacy concerns led me to Apple Maps. I purchased a subscription to the Life Cycle app to keep track of my time. It includes automatic backup and some analytics, much like what Google Maps aims to provide, but I just no longer trust it. It's a shame. I ended up deleting most of the content I contributed to Google Maps in protest of what they did to the product.

Google verweigert manchmal rezensionen, die ich eine bewertung über das unternehmen geschrieben habe oder einrichtungen die als Verstoß gegen die Richtlinien ob Wohl ich keine beleidigungen verwendet habe. Ich habe niemanden verletzt aber Google macht automatisch und verweigert meine Rezension bei Veröffentlichung

What went right ,when you rely on maps to get you there they fail repeatedly. They couldn't give the correct route to a house that has been there for 50 years .now that's bad.anyone who has ever worked for Google maps should be fired.then tired and feathered for their ineptitude. Rarely do the get anything right .my Tom Tom that hasn't had an update for 12 years gives better directions.they need to hire me for the 200,000 plus year they pay .iam computer illiterate and could still do a better job than who ever is pretending they know whats going on.irs gotta be George Costanz or kramer.who ever it is needs fired immediately.google spends to much time spying and selling people's data to do the job like it should be Google fire these nit wits,its long over due.

Mobbing auf Google Maps gegenüber Barony Le Pergole und Romantic-Residence CH 6976 Castagnola / Tessin Via Violetta 5-7.

Die Zufahrt wird seit geraumer Zeit geschäftsschädigend falsch bei Google Maps
angezeigt.
--- Teilweise Zugang/Zufahrt um das grosse Grundstück herum über einen Treppen-Fussweg, wo
Google nicht dem Foto-Auto herumfahren kann und wo weder Zufahrten noch Zugänge für die Touristen
existieren. Auch mit dunklemTor und falscher Strassenbezeichnung, obwohl bequem bei Via Violetta Nr. 7 vor alle 4 Gebäude und 8 Garagen +
8 Parkplätze hochgefahren werden kann. --- Anstatt
Zufahrt für Barony mit 2 grossen Schildern und Name auf beiden Seiten des offenen Tores wird eine grosse begrünte Mauer gezeigt. In dieser statisch
sicheren Mauer (Stützmauer für die Auffahrt bis vor die 4 Gebäude) hat der Schweizer Staat ein Messgerät eingesetzt, das die Bewegungen vom grossen St. Gotthard-Massiv misst. Also eine sichere Sache, aber keine Einfahrt zu den 4 Gebäuden thronend über einem mediterranen Park.
---Nur wenn der "Google"-Rückfahrt gefolgt und zufällig auf eine antike-Barony-Einfahrt-Lampe ge-
klickt wird, wird die Einfahrt/Auffahrt zur Barony gezeigt. Aber eben auf der Rückfahrt und zufällig.
---Auf dem Bild Barony-Grundstück Via Violetta 5-7 beim Aufklicken auf das von Google eingesetzte kleine Haus auf blauem Grund mit weisser Umrandung erscheint sehr mysteriös eine dunkle Garage, die nur Verdunklungstaktik vermittelt und die zum Grundstück auf der anderren Seite Via Violetta Nr. 6/six gehört.--- Es exisiterien noch andere Imponderabilien betreffend Zufahrt/Auffahrt.

Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass Google Maps soviele leicht erkennbare Fehler macht/erlaubt. Eher denke ich an eine Compagnia von Maf-Hackern. Und zwr deshalb, weil auch bei e-domizil,
Fewo-direkt/VRBO in 2025 mit denen die 5-Sterne-Barony zwecks Vermietung von Ferien-Wohnungen und Villa zusammenarbeitet, auch seltsame geschäftsschädigende falsche in Informationen publiziert wurden.

Ich bitte Google Maps um Korrektur.

Estoy muy descontento con gogle masp ya es la 5 reseña que no me publican la última sobre la alcaldesa de Torralba de Calatrava que nos quiere destruir el pueblo de Torralba de Calatrava dando permiso en contra de los vecinos de Torralba de Calatrava para montar ha un kilómetro de distancia del pueblo con los perjuicios que traerá esa planta para el pueblo y enfermedades para los vecinos y está es la excusa que pone gogle masp para no publicarme la reseña que doy datos privados números de tarjeta ho yuntamiento de Torralba de Calatrava
Mi intención es dar ha conocer ha la comunidad de gogle masp mi experiencia dentro demi derecho de libertad de expresión y sin cometer ningún delito
