Voici la suite douloureuse (pour mes finances) de ma saga sur Walker, spécialiste(hum… hum!) de la thermopompe de Cornwall. Dans mes commentaires, j’avais souligné que l’humidité de la maison se retrouvait sous la thermopompe, s’écoulant comme si on ouvrait un robinet en permanence, sous l’appareil, et lorsque elle se mettait en marche, je percevais un grand bruit, comme un coup de poing sur le métal de la fournaise, ce qui me réveillait la nuit, puis aussitôt un nuage de vapeur s’élevait jusqu’au 1er étage. Pour la douzaine de « spécialistes » de Walker. qui m’ont rendu visite, tout cela était normal« C’était la pression de l’air qui en sortant frappait les parois de la fournaise ». Explication pour laquelle j’avais de sérieux doutes.
Néanmoins, voulant leur donner une chance de rattraper leurs erreurs, je leur ai demandé de faire ma mise au point de printemps. Ils ont refusé, fâchés surement par mes critiques virulentes sur Google. Ma pompe était garantie, direz-vous ? Car une machine de 22,000$ devrait l’être. Hélas, il se trouve qu’une fois dans ma cour, la merveille de 22,000$ ne valait plus rien, du moins aux yeux de ceux qui l’avaient si bien installée, en l’occurrence, la bande de l’oncle Walker. J’ai donc appelé ATEL Heating, de Cornwall. Un de leur employé est venu, a travaillé 4 heures sur le module extérieur et la fournaise. Coût, 255 $. Je pensais qu’il avait fait la maintenance annuelle et que mes problèmes étaient résolus. Surprise ! le lendemain je recevais une « estimation » pour les travaux à effectuer de toute urgence : 1457 $. L’homme n’était venu que pour faire un relevé des choses à réparer. Vous avez bien lu. 1700$ en tout, pour une thermopompe neuve « installée » par Walter Climate care un an plus tôt. (Je crois savoir que depuis son fiasco chez moi ils ont changé de nom. Depuis le passage de ATEL, je n’ai plus ces problèmes.
Voilà, je viens de dépenser près de 2000$ pour faire démonter, régler, ajuster, (Ce qui n’avait pas été fait le jour de l’installation initiale par Walker), et remplir de gaz le système, car il en manquait, même si je n’avais pas de fuite. Etc… J’ai investi toutes mes économies dans ce projet. Je ne pourrai jamais prendre un avocat pour me défendre. Tout ce qu’il reste à un vieux retraité abusé par le système c’est de fermer sa bouche et de pleurer sur ses économies envolées. Bonjour la retraite dorée.
Mais je préfère cela à revoir une 15ène de leurs incompétents bricoleurs envahir ma maison pour ne rien régler. Deux ans de cauchemar me suffisent.

After further assessment and testing, Dr. Lanoue determined that he could help me. Since beginning treatment, I have made significant progress. I have regained much of my mobility, have my life back, and continue to improve every day. Surgery is no longer something I need to consider.

Dr. Lanoue’s knowledge, skills, and dedication are exceptional. His support staff, Verena, is also wonderful and provide an excellent support system throughout the process.

I highly recommend Dr. Lanoue. You are truly in good hands with him and his team.

We visited the A+W the other morning and the counter clerk, Harry did an excellent job in taking our order making sure it was the way we wanted it. This A+W always has good service, food is good, and always clean.

Katrine is knowledgeable, friendly, and took the time to answer my questions and help me choose the right products for my projects. Canadian Tire Belleville store. I had to return a bbq because it was defective. The employee “Harsh” (that’s his name certainly not his attitude or his personality) was so helpful. He persisted until the problem was solved. The store has a huge asset.

Sweet Treasures Confectionery used to be a great place to grab candy or an ice cream. There is little candy now and the portions in a cone should be an embarrassment to them. A double scoop just barely came to the top of the cone.

I HAD A MICROWAVE DELIVERED FROM HOME DEPOT STORE IN cHARLOTTETOWN and it WAS AN OVER THE RANGE UNIT.

I placed an order from Maple and Kids a couple of weeks ago. Received the order of 2 DIY animal sewing kits last Friday. The kits were shipped in a plastic bag so when I opened the bag, the boxes were very damaged. Once was completly crushed and the other box was ripped open. I tried to send the items back, but Maple and Kids only offered a very small refund. I paid $40 for the two items and they refunded me $11. This is very poor customer service and I will NEVER order from Maple and Kids again

Ordered a dress from “Audrey & Amy Ottawa” expecting a high-quality, flattering design as advertised the dress cost 71,95+ taxe. What I received was a cheap, thin, poorly made dress that looks nothing like the photos.

The seller admitted the item was different but only offered partial refunds (10–30%) and had to pay for return shipping to China, despite presenting themselves as a Canadian (Ottawa-based) business.

There was no proper follow-up or customer support, and the overall experience felt unprofessional and misleading. I requested a full refund and refused partial offers. Be cautious before ordering from this site.

From the initial visit by the sales team member to the installation of our garage door, by two young gentlemen, we were more than pleased by the service. We love our garage door... it looks great, and works well.
Here we are through the winter with no issues with our door, and I loved the fact that I no longer have to get out of my car to push it up!!

McDonalds drive thru at Wayne Gretzky. I was asked to pull up to one of the reserved spots and I said no thank you I was waiting for 2 milkshakes. They said the machine wasn't ready but I politely said no thanks. Well doesn't the Manager get all aggressive and told me to move up and I still refused this is over 2 milkshakes no food. They tried to give me a milkshake that wasn't even blended and I called her out on it and she tried to say that is how they are made. Seriously when did managers start getting into it with a paying customer. McDonald DEI hire is rock bottom. Please train your staff better in customer service. And for the record at no point was I rude just stood my ground.

Seriously try this. Change your Google subscription middle name to firstname - Google, last-name or if available, use Google as your middle name. Ditto for Meta, Microsoft, Apple - basically any subscription. I did and 98% of my received spam mails are addressed to middle name Google. Strava reached out to me with a plan for my special needs son and the only place I’d mentioned this was confidential emails from my Gmail account to my son’s doctor. I’ve since moved everything from on Microsoft. Do NOT trust Google. Your emails, locations, likes, subscriptions, searches, they know more about you than your mothers and will sell you for pennies. “Don’t do evil”?? Hah!

KFC in Coombs BC. Chicken was saturated in fat and oil. In the bucket wax almost 3/4 of inch grease and oil. Chicken was just soggy with it. I will contact health Canada and place formal complaint because this food was unfit for consumption and dangerous to eat.

Had a pipe burst and called Bubby's Plumbing. Day of the appointment they called to let me know they were on their way. Showed up on appointed time and were so courteous and kind right from the start. Did repair in no time at all and explained every step of the repair. Kyle and Kyle put me at ease as soon as they walked in the door. They were amazing!!!!
