The claims process was a nightmare

The claims process was a nightmare. extremely unprofessional. I encountered inconsistent communication, shifting explanations, and repeated delays, making it extremely difficult to obtain a fair and transparent resolution following an accident and receiving necessary medical treatments
The handling of my claim fell far below reasonable standards of customer care and professional competence, which directly influenced my decision to cancel both my house and auto policies. Based on this experience, I have advised friends, family, and others to carefully consider their options before choosing this insurer.

NOT to be trusted

NOT to be trusted. While they do have great rates, you may end up with owing more in the end. Customer service and their ability to return phone calls or emails is the worse of any company I've ever dealt with. They are so disorganized that they send multiple documents with an minute change, even errors, to the point that you are drowning in their errors. When you try and cancel, there are no refunds, and will even try to tell you that there are cancellation fees. They will hound you for money and extra charges that cost way more than the original amazing deal that you thought you were getting with them. I should never have paid for my whole policy in advance. They came up with every charge in the books, and refused any form of refund. They even tried to charge me almost $700 more for cancelling

Christmas Eve Flood

On Christmas Eve we had a flood. The damage to our lower level was extensive. Once I contacted Gore within 30 minutes, I received a call from Brittany Turpin our assigned insurance adjustor. She was supportive and alleviated our anxiety throughout the process from beginning to end. She immediately contacted a restoration company. Based on their assessment, she provided a work order for them to remove all of what was damaged, carpets, vinyl flooring, baseboards, and a thorough biohazard cleanup. The process did not take as long as we thought. Once the clean up was complete and the floors were dry, Gore insurance approved a repair estimate within a day of receiving it, covering the entire cost of repairs. There were absolutely no issues with this company, it was a smooth process and we are thankful we chose them as our insurance company. Thank you Brittany and to the Gore insurance team for being there when we needed it most.

I strongly recommend avoiding this auto…

I strongly recommend avoiding this auto insurance company. They’re quick to take your money, but when it comes to handling a claim — even when you’re not at fault — they’ll look for any possible excuse to deny it. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere for coverage.

There are no agency's Government /business or other wise have enough teeth to take care od Canadians that under statute have Auto insurance . Read my review and comments.08

This review and Supreior Cout of Justice Court order against gore mutual and Car Star is similiar to thousands of complaints against against mant, many Insurance company's . Crown corporation , to my knowledge , have done significantly lite to take these Company's . as i previously stated to FRSA , FRSA and others that I stand to be corrected . Respectfully submitted
