We are delighted with the installation and with Go Solar. The system was sized perfectly for our needs, and was installed very professionally and neatly inside a day last October. Both our electricity and water heating bills have been slashed since early March, and our only regret was waiting until the autumn when we could have had it installed in the spring!

Paul Bennett gave excellent advice on expanding our existing array of 5.6kw with a 5kw inverter and adding in an additional panels which have increased our monthly production of energy from a previous maximum of 570kw to over 900kw or a 60% increase. No use having great products but incompetent general admin support ripping holes in your pocket.

I’ve had an extremely frustrating experience with GoSolr when trying to transfer my account to the new homeowner. For the past two months, I’ve been struggling to get this resolved, with endless back-and-forth communication. Despite multiple assurances that everything was sorted, nothing was actually done.

To make matters worse, after being told the transfer was complete, GoSolr still deducted the full amount from my account instead of billing the new owner, who is already using the solar system at the property. It’s incredibly disappointing to see such poor support and lack of follow-through on their promises.

If you're considering GoSolr, be aware that their service when it comes to account management and ownership transfers leaves a lot to be desired. I expected a smoother process but instead have been met with frustration and financial inconvenience.

GoSolar installed my solar system last year. From beginning to end, they were a pleasure to deal with. During the pre-sales process, they answered all my questions with clarity and honesty, and explained exactly how the system would work, and what components I would need to meet my requirements. The full installation was scheduled as soon as I confirmed my order, and then fully installed and tested in less than a day, on the day they said it would be.
I have needed to contacted them a few times since the installation and I have found their after-sales service to be superb - really fast, extremely helpful, and very professional on each occasion.
Special mention to Eimear in the office - she’s always incredibly helpful, patient and professional any time I’ve needed to get in touch with them.
It’s almost a year since my system was installed and I would wholeheartedly recommend GoSolar to anyone thinking about installing a solar system.

GoSolar were recommended to me for my solar install. My experience from the initial communication to the final installation was exceptional. Sales and Accounts were very good at explaining the process and offering advice as to what setup was best for me.

Due to an attic conversion we had limited space to install the equipment. all scenarios were throughout and planned so there were no delays on the install day.

On the install day itself both the electricians and roofers were exceptionally quick and tidy, nothing was to much trouble for them. Again on the day they had advice of how to get the most out of my panels and very quickly made changes as required.

Overall I am delighted with my solar panels and would have no hesitation in recommending GoSolar to anyone.

Like most customers, going into this I had no real idea of what to expect from this process.
Go Solar were recommended by a neighbour (I had seen the roofers fitting to his roof and asked) so I decided to go with them. They briefed me over the phone, and from my Eircode were able to give the outline of a design, probable output and installation price by email. They then did a preliminary survey of the roof slopes and subsequently did a detailed electrical survey.
They turned up at 8.30 on the agreed date, fully prepared with all the kit and performed an astonishingly well-choreographed installation. They instructed me on the use of the equipment and left my house neat and tidy.
I have no real experience of how the system works, as it was installed on the shortest day of the year... however some sunny intervals have demonstrated the effectiveness of the system. The coming bills will, I guess, tell the tale.
I am happy to recommend this company: polite, helpful, skillful, careful and competent at all levels.

I’m very happy to recommend GoSolar. Had a 6540 Kw/year system with 12 panels and Eddi Water Heater installed on 2/10/24. The process from system specification, to install was well managed, and completed without issues. I found GoSolar were very capable with good advice, competitive prices, and excellent customer service. The office and install team were very professional, and the system install was completed at my house within one day.
All documentation, SEAI Grant and NC6 Certification for Microgeneration was efficiently managed by the office team. To date, my system is performing extremely well. Thank you GoSolar.
