We were quoted “I thought” to move my entire house to rural NSW from Nothern beaches Sydney.
They came out to quote I explained I hadn’t moved in 50yrs. The quote was very hard to understand so I had to ring a few times to clarify. (Still didn’t understand it) just had to trust them. I wanted Grace to pack up my kitchen and I would pack up the rest ready for them to take. I was expecting them in the morning as we had a lot of furniture and a big kitchen with 2 big pantry’s.
I was also expecting a removalist van not a small container. They rang and said they wouldn’t be there till 12pm. Then I found out they had to leave by 4 to make it to Seven Hills before the depot closed to drop off the container. I also told them before that we had to drive to Port Macquarie when they finished.
I paid $677 for them to pack up my kitchen but they ran out of time and just left before they finished at least 6 boxes we had to drive back to Sydney to pack they left 8 outdoor dining chairs 2 indoor dining chairs, 2 bedroom lamps a TV and a chair from the bedroom, microwave. They quoted 12 boxes for the kitchen and the one packer did 30 he told me before he left. The kitchen was a mess . We had the new owners coming it for the final inspection in 2 days. Grace offered to come back to finish but not until after the new owners were due and they told me they would take it to the depot at Seven Hills and then we would have to sort it out. We had to wait for the delivery to our new house and then rush back to Sydney to pack up what they left.
Luckily we could borrow a big trailer to pack it all up and transport.
I have to say the staff doing all the packing were fantastic none of this was their fault. They were pushed to the limit.
We got a few quotes and Grace was the dearest $6677.00 but I went with them as I thought they were the best.
It was the most stressful day I have ever had.

We booked Grace for our interstate move, but the experience was an absolute nightmare. Shane from Grace was initially very helpful. He made multiple promises about when Grace would be able to pick up and deliver our belongings. When we tried to confirm the final details the next day with Shane he avoided our calls and messages.

We finally contacted their head office to get answers. Only after doing this did Shane finally speak to us to tell us he could no longer honour what he had previously promised.

Leaving a family with a baby scrambling to find a new removalist with less than 48 hours' notice is completely unacceptable and incredibly stressful. We are extremely disappointed at the level of service and professionalism of Grace. Avoid this company if you want a reliable move.

Exceptional international uplift, completely stress free
We can't speak highly enough of the Wollongong branch of Grace Removals. From the very start, the quoting process was exceptionally well conducted. They came out to our property, took the time to explain everything clearly, and were very competitive on price.
The team have now completed our international uplift from our property in Jamberoo, and we couldn't be happier. Peter and his crew did an absolutely exceptional job from start to finish. Everyone was professional, friendly and easy to deal with, which made what could have been a stressful day feel remarkably calm.
The weather didn't work in our favour, but the team handled it brilliantly. Their solutions and workarounds were fantastic, and nothing was ever too much trouble.
Every item was exceptionally well wrapped and packed, then loaded into a shipping container fully lined with cardboard from floor to ceiling, ready for the journey overseas. We genuinely feel our household furniture is in very good hands.

I have experienced two moves from Australia to Italy in an 18-month period. Grace Removals in Australia for logistics, packing and shipment; and Schmidt Global Relocation BV were the European partners who handled my goods for receiving, customs clearance, and delivery to my Italian address. I found the two companies and staff on both occasions to be very professional in their systems and practices, friendly staff that provided documentation assistance, provided updating and tracking of the shipment and constant progress follow-up. The final delivery from Port Rotterdam to my Italian address was flawless, and on time. Both companies have excellent stuff who successfully completed packing, customs, logistics and delivery to schedule.

I recently engaged Grace Workplace (Brisbane) to do a relocation and furniture removal from Brisbane to Sydney for one of our valued clients, from the initial point of contact with Nathan O'brien to the uplift led by Jon Wihongi, the process was smooth sailing. Nathan was very knowledgeable and precise in the pricing and scope of works which was followed by the team being on site and doing the works with ease.

Highly recommend the team and I'm sure we will be using them more frequently in the near future.

This is my third time using Grace.
First, from New Zealand to Australia, then from Australia to Denmark, and then to Bulgaria. I also made use of Grace storage in Melbourne and an internal move from the city to Halam.

Grace Bros we’re delivering or picking up from the neighbours home at 10 Clune St. Oxley 4075. The truck sideswiped my car that was legally parked in front of our home. I have tried twice to contact them but have not received a reply. I would suggest they are not an honourable company at all and should be avoided.

The team kept us informed throughout the process from the initial quote with Nathan, to bookings, adjustments and then on the day. While there was an unplanned interruption to our move, the team worked hard to resolve the problem. The operations coordinators, Ash and Jazmine, kept us informed and the team supervisor on-site, Michael, was professional, courteous and easy to deal with.

WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS A FAIL...LEFT ITEMS BEHIND AT THE ORIGINAL HOUSE AND STORAGE UNIT, THEN HAD THE HIDE TO BLAME ALL AND SUNDRY , THEN PROCEEDE TO TRY AND CHARGE US FOR THE PICKING UP AND DELIVERY OF ITEMS LEFT...BUT THEY STILL LEFT THINGS BEHIND...OF VALUE...INCOMPETENT AND UNPROFESSIONAL

His dates for dropping off a couple of boxes keep changing. Every aspect of our effects arriving in Australia was handled perfectly. Daryl co-ordinated the customs clearance excellently. Carl and Laurie were a pleasure to deal with - punctual, personable, professional and they delivered the cartons to our home and to a storage unit with the efficiency of a team used to working together. The service from Laurie and Carl was very efficient. They rang up one day ahead to inform of the delivery timing. They delivered right on time the next day. They were polite. They placed the boxes neatly where asked. I am please that once the unboxing will be done, we can ring them for removal.

We had 3 different exposures to Grace Group within a week. On all 3 occasions the guys involved were helpful, cheerful (even carrying machinery upstairs) and a pleasure to work with.
