What a palaver
What a palaver. All I wanted to do was buy some wine. An hour later after trying to follow the most ambiguous and circular instructions I finally got an account (which I don't want) and your ordering system to understand what I wanted. No I didn't want to bid for a Caterpillar D10 with a spare set of tracks if I order now. And no, don't want to login again to leave this for you to digest. Spare me
Delivery
As I had never used your site before I thought I would purchase a low-risk item and see how the experience was. Upon winning the item and paying the invoice, I contacted the preferred freight agent to arrange for my item to be sent. One week later I am no closer to having my item delivered. Despite the chat agent being helpful and responsive, I have now requested a refund for the item.
One word “ HORRIBLE “
TRAILER HAD MAJOR CRACK IN FRAME THAT…
TRAILER HAD MAJOR CRACK IN FRAME THAT WASN'T IN THE DESCRIPTION THEN I WAS TOLD I SHOULD HAVE INSPECTED IT. SO IF I WAS IN WA I HAD TO TRAVEL ALL THE WAY TO SYDNEY ONLY TO FIND A CRACK...WHY NOT JUST PUT IT IN THE DECRIPTION AND NOT POST IMAGES THAT ARE AT MISLEADING ANGLES. GRAYS UPTO OLD TRICKS

I receive wine from LLOYDS all the time with no issues at all, and have for years.
Monumentally hopeless
Monumentally hopeless! 8 days after a successful auction of my car, I get notification that the buyer has a dispute with the car, I immediately made a counter offer to accept or reject. I have now waited 6 futher days and have called Grays staff numerous time and now ignored. I reasonably want the money or the car immediately. BTW Grays are holding the funds
I was successful in an online purchase…
I was successful in an online purchase of a no reserve camper trailer recently and I was congratulated and I paid the invoice, booked it in to be registered immediately and bought towing accessories to suit the hitch. Well I did my bit only to be sent an email saying that they are not going to sell the camper to me. I was given several excuses/reasons why of none made any sense. Obviously the seller was not happy with the price and they sell many items through the grays platform and they are more important to keep them on side. A no reserve auction should be just that….
Such poor form that it really is a fair way to conduct business.
Imported wine purchase
I was looking for a particular imported wine and found it on Grays. It was a very competitive price and even with shipping was cheaper than I could find anywhere else. Located the stock on the Gray's web site and the purchase process was very straight forward with a variety of payments methods. My wine was delivered within three business days. Very happy.

Bought items on the 2 of April today is…
Bought items on the 2 of April today is the 10 and still no confirmation when my item are sent out spoke to 2 different representatives and got no resolutions all they kept saying will look into it and kept apologising and yet they were happy to take my money for the item that I bought and can't tell me where is it now frustrating

Offshore call centre not good enough
I found it hard to understand the people on the Grays side of the phone. They sounded like they were offshore. When I had a question, they couldn’t answer it and said someone would contact me within 48 hours. That’s not good enough. 48 hours is too long. I asked if I could pay by eftpos. I was told yes. Then changed to no- sorry you can’t. No eftpos machine onsite. Really? No eftpos facilities at an auction centre? Auction notes said they would provide rego papers for boat I purchased. Not provided. I asked for them- 2 days later was told by email I don’t need them. I do need them. Replied to email requesting rego papers- I haven’t heard back after 2 days

Travelling by public transport from NSW…
Travelling by public transport from NSW to South Australia adds to the expense. Picking up the vehicle was straight forward, no issues, On the road in no time at all. Great little car bided on and won. Pleased with my purchase, great motor, body is presentable. Tyres were 75% will need changing soon. Maybe provide a % on tyre wear for customers to also base their bids on.

Cancelled auction - Ownership dispute
The auction process went well. However, when I visited onsite to complete payment and pickup my truck the day after the auction finished I was informed of an ownership dispute so the auction was cancelled. Surely Grays’ up front ownership validation processes prior to purchase should have surfaced this prior to the auction.

The website is easy to use the pictures form part of the description so it’s easy to make your own informed views. The Dandenong site was easy to navigate and staff were polite and helpful
