I bought 2 Christmas Markets tours and both reps were excellent!! Very easy to get it done!!

Great Rail Journeys contacted me and agreed to pay for the taxi to and from our Hotel in Saint Foy to Quebec City.

Also there was a mix up on how many nights we were booked in our Halifax hotel. To compensate, Great Rail Journeys paid for our taxi to the airport. I have updated from 2 stars to three stars based on these actions. I do have to say that their emergency line is terrific and responds very quickly. I still stand by my title of examining all details of the tour before getting on the train.

Our hotel in Quebec City was 30 minutes away from downtown and old Quebec City. There was no pick up for our tour. When I asked Great Rail Journeys to provide taxi fare to get to the pickup spot for our tour they would not do so. We paid a lot for this trip and I find it unacceptable that they booked us at a hotel so far from the sights of Old Quebec. So we end up taking at least 3 taxi trips at over $30 each just to see what we came to see. They are the tour company and in good faith we left it in their hands to provide the best service in places we are not familiar with. They were very unapologetic when I called and asked for taxi vouchers and basically told us too bad. Would not ever use this company again and highly recommend you think twice and/or go over every detail of your itinerary with a fine tooth comb before booking. They do not send travel documents out until 10-14 days before the trip which does not leave much time to research every detail they finally set you up with. This is not good customer service.

It was great to call and speak to a customer service representative when scheduling this trip. I was able to ask questions and request options to meet our needs.

I was having trouble booking this trip on line. So I called and booked it with a very helpful person. She took the time to answer all my questions.

It has been several days since I tried to book and the confirmation I was suppose to receive confirming my reservation with the train and hitel has not been received. I still need to book plane reservations but can not because of communication issue. NOT GOOD

It was wonderful. Chris worked with us last minute and provided us with the help we needed.

I'm excited for the train trip however I feel like I'm not getting all of my information upfront multiple calls made
