Great product & Customer service
Great product, Oban Whisky at a fair price, plus great customer service too when sorting out the delivery with the courier company (who don't get 5 stars).
I'd certainly use Great Wine Company again, they have a great product range and genuinely care about service and their customers. A refreshing attitude!

Delivery of wine took nearly 2 weeks as…
Delivery of wine took nearly 2 weeks as DPD kept trying to deliver while I'm at work. I felt I had to chase Great Wine Co. and DPD about these issues.

Thank you very much for your comments and sorry to hear the delivery was not as smooth as you had hoped. Both DPD and GWC insist on signatures for delivery of alcohol, this can on occasion make deliveries harder to fulfil because customers do need to be available to receive them, whether that's work or home addresses. That said we stand by this decision as we don't want wines falling into the wrong hands. If the delivery was continuing to not be delivered we should however have been far more proactive on picking up on this issue with you and arranging delivery at an appropriate time for you. Apologies this level of service was not there on this occasion.

All-round great reliability, choice and advice
Deliveries always come quickly, your website is great (esp the detailed info about each wine) given that we can so rarely make it in to store, and your selection of wines is awesome. I also appreciate the email alerts when you have something interesting arriving, or when you are stopping stocking a particular producer.
